Chapter 70 Dad, you've been buffed!

Chapter 70 Dad, you've been buffed!

This time, Bruce Wayne, behind the bat mask, unusually showed a worried expression.

If even his heavy firepower can't handle it, then the military will just use even more powerful firepower to deal with this monster.

Forget about thermobaric weapons and tactical nuclear weapons; Gotham City will be doomed by then.

"Hey! Need any help?" a playful voice came through Batman's communication channel.

"Hey Tony, did you get it sorted out over there?" Ang's voice came through the communicator.

"Of course! There's nothing Iron Man can't handle." Tony is just that kind of flamboyant man.

To Mr. Wayne, this sounded rather harsh: "My missiles can't handle him; those are 300 pounds of TNT equivalent high-explosive. Do you have a Plan B?"

"I could try laser cutting. The problem is I can only use it once."

Ang didn't know what stage Tony had reached in developing Iron Man, and could only barely tell from its appearance that it was the Mark-4. Logically speaking, this thing shouldn't be particularly powerful.

Since Tony mentioned the laser emitter, there's still a chance.

Ang spoke up: "It's difficult for me to coordinate with your heavy firepower. How about you guys unleash a barrage, and I'll go up and see if I can suppress his movements?"

"Can."

"OK!"

The historic first collaboration between DC and Marvel, two scientific marvels, immediately set the stage for a spectacular display of light pollution.

The Batplane's machine guns, combined with the shock beams from Iron Man's hand, plowed through the ruins around Bane time and time again.

Even though Bane struggles to mount an effective counterattack, neither of them can defeat him.

Just then, the portal, which had been quiet for a while, started moving again.

Layers of dark green light floated around the portal made of skeletons, and even the blood in the original blood pool began to turn a disgusting dark green due to the pollution of the light.

Not only that, but a large number of terrifying cavities appeared around this portal in the blink of an eye—the remnants of reinforced concrete and other buildings, regardless of whether they were made of stone or metal, were all melted, swallowed up, and disappeared without a trace when they came into contact with this light.

Amidst a strange, swirling aura, a figure surged out of the portal, and on the electronic screens of Iron Man and Batman, half a person simultaneously appeared.

Correct!

Half a person!

This appears to be a woman, with a large tuft of messy, seaweed-like black hair, a crescent-shaped headdress, and a strapless bodice. The exposed skin beneath has an unusual grayish-white hue. Her skin seems to be covered in numerous runes imbued with malevolent power.

All of this came to an abrupt end in her lower abdomen.

Because this female zombie only has half a body.

When she crawled out of the portal, you could still see long, rotting intestines and a large section of her spine hanging outside her body.

Seeing her face revealed as she tilted her head back, Ang exclaimed in alarm, "Everyone be careful, this thing is a [witch]!"

Witch?

What witch?

Her deep green eyes locked onto Mr. Wayne, who was piloting the Batplane.

Before Batman could react, her mangled body turned into a wisp of dissipating green smoke.

The next second, she reappeared in Batman's cockpit.

"What...?" This Batman in this life has seen too little.

Having beaten up so many Jokers and mob bosses, Batman didn't have much experience dealing with superhumans. Faced with the zombie witch who suddenly appeared in front of him, he really didn't have any good solutions.

In this near-zero distance, Batman made a move that even he himself did not expect.

"Thump!"

That was a very un-Batman-like knee strike.

As a young boy, Bruce Wayne traveled to the snowy mountains to learn martial arts, where he acquired exceptional fighting skills from the League of Assassins. The leader of the League of Assassins was the enigmatic Ninja Master, Rashomon.

Although knee strikes are a move in ninja fighting, they are used very rarely.

And the next claw strike made Bruce deeply doubt whether he was still himself!?

Regardless, with this almost instinctive and swift counterattack, Batman fiercely scratched the witch's face, leaving a shallow claw mark on her wooden and stiff face.

The counterattack has come to an end.

The next moment, Batman opened the cockpit door, and the first person to be thrown out was none other than the witch. Completely enraged, the witch let out a piercing shriek, and a series of lightning bolts and lightning snakes spread across her cursed body.

Unable to dodge in time, the Bat fighter jet sparked and went out of control, exploding into a bright fireball before even hitting the ground.

But Batman was completely unharmed.

He performed nearly ten front flips in mid-air with great flair, landing steadily on all fours without even needing the bat suit to help him glide, without sustaining any injuries.

The only minor problem is...

Catwoman, Katana, and Huntress exclaimed in unison, "Why does Batman look so much like Bronze Tiger?"

The instigator has fallen silent.

In that critical moment, he hastily transferred all the highlighted skills from the system notification to his Wild Father via [Soul Skill Sharing], and instantly used red souls to upgrade several skills to Lv3. Among them was the [Wild Fighting] skill he obtained from the Bronze Tiger; just because he couldn't use it didn't mean his Wild Father couldn't.

Surprisingly, Bruce had just used the [Wild Frenzy] skill to withstand the witch's energy attack.

In their first encounter, Batman had no idea how he survived.

Of all times, that bastard Tony whistled, "Wow, Mr. Bat, is your fighting style really that wild?"

Joking aside, Tony wasn't idle. Iron Man, being a humanoid mech, couldn't carry too many heavy weapons. His pen-sized missiles might be useless against Bane, but that didn't mean they were ineffective against the witch. They were fired in a flurry, and they almost hit her.

"Drink!"

With a flick of her wrist, the witch unleashed a burst of intense lightning that instantly detonated all of Iron Man's missiles in mid-air.

To Tony's surprise, Batman handled the job that Tony couldn't.

Taking advantage of the witch's attention being drawn to Iron Man's missiles, Batman darted forward and pounced. Even with a bolt of lightning striking him from above, he still gracefully twisted his body in mid-air, nimbly making a turn and tracing an S-shaped path forward.

Finally, it passed through the gaps between several bolts of lightning and kicked the witch hard in the face.

Batman was stunned as he watched the witch fly away screaming.

"This is...me!?"

His increased agility made him as light as a swallow.

The increased wind resistance allowed him to ignore the aftereffects of lightning to some extent.

He had no idea that it was his eldest son who had done this.

Over there, heartbroken over the downgrade of his [Wind Element Resistance] skill, Ang gritted his teeth and muttered under his breath, "Dad, you've been buffed, hurry up and die. No, hurry up and go!"
