Chapter 51 Deliberately Accidentally

"Mr. Osborn? Why you?" Peter joined the UC Shock Department after seeing Norman, who was still lively despite only having his upper body left.

"Why can't it be me? You pathetic creatures, just be my spatial anchor. That way, at least I can grant you eternal life!" Norman roared as he struggled.

"Immortality?" Gwen's voice was full of disdain. "Through a stinking corpse?"

"Of course! This is the price of immortality!"

If he could reflect and repent, he wouldn't be a well-known villain in DC history. While Peter could somewhat forgive Harry's evil, Norman's wickedness was truly unbearable for him.

Norman attempted to resist, even pulling a poisoned needle from a hidden pocket on his shoulder and stabbing it at Ang. Ang drew his twin blades and unleashed a knock-off version of the "Starburst Abandoned Healing Slash," easily cleaving Norman's arms into eighteen pieces in an instant.

As the scattered, stiff chunks of flesh formed a small rain of meat, pattering down, the two Spider-Men didn't feel disgusted at all; instead, they felt a strange sense of pleasure.

"You bastards! How could you treat me like this? I will be the immortal king who reigns over this world. Kneel down right now..."

Before Norman could finish speaking, Ang offered him a can of food.

The high temperature of the thermite allowed this visitor from the zombie universe to fully experience the warmth and hospitality of the local residents.

"What...what's going on?" Peter was full of questions.

"It's very simple. A parallel universe just like ours was destroyed by a zombie virus, and all the heroes and anti-heroes you know have turned into cannibalistic zombies. Then they are constantly crossing space and invading our world, trying to turn us all into zombies too."

Ang stated this horrifying truth in a calm tone, and Peter was shocked.

"It's true. I teamed up with Kratos to take down your zombie clone." Gwen's words served as evidence.

Peter forced an awkward smile: "Looks like we're in for a lot of work."

Ang sheathed his twin swords: "Although my way of doing things is different from yours, at least in the general direction, the interests of all the living are aligned."

The two Spider-Men nodded in agreement.

Ang glanced at the disheveled Peter: "You two go back and recover. My assistant will clean up everything here."

Peter paused for a moment: "Aren't we going to make this public?"

Ang coldly replied, "Faced with the world-destroying power of Zombie Superman, the efforts of mortals are meaningless. Revealing the truth will only cause pointless chaos. I don't know if Zombie Superman will attack; I must prepare for the worst."

The two Spider-Men paused, recalling Superman's awe-inspiring power on television, and fell silent.

Superman is the pinnacle of extraordinary beings on Earth.

Judging from the superheroes who have appeared so far, none of the other superheroes are even worthy of carrying his shoes.

Ang had the Lance sisters cover Peter's three women's evacuation. In fact, with Chief George Stacy secretly helping to let things slide, the evacuation of ordinary people was no problem at all.

Ang watched Peter and Gwen's departing figures, then refocused his attention on the projection screen on his retina.

Defeating the Green Goblin was, unsurprisingly, nothing surprising.

After all, Green Goblin's physical attributes are what they are, so giving him [Perception +1, Willpower +3] is enough to make it worthwhile.

As for the Pumpkin Bomb Recipe, Green Goblin Venom, and Demon Glider Blueprints, Ang casually accepted them.

Ang doesn't plan to use bombs or poison.

A glider could be considered as a mode of transportation, but it depends on when Tony is available.

What Ang didn't notice was that after Peter left, there was still a little tail following behind.

The Ben Parker couple, who had escaped danger earlier, were reluctantly taken to the police station to give statements. Meanwhile, after Gwen took Peter home first, the Lance sisters took Liz home first, and finally took Mary Jane and Michelle to Peter's doorstep.

"No one else is up there except Peter," the two sisters, wearing oval-shaped metal masks, said.

Was this intentional or accidental?

Seeing Peter's half-closed door, the two women's breathing quickened.

If this situation were to happen to Liz, who had just lost her father, she would probably be endlessly conflicted. But Mary Jane had no such reservations. Bold and unrestrained, she stepped forward and opened the door in front of Michelle.

"Wait! Peter is injured, is this...?" Michelle protested.

"They said Peter is fine. Besides, after today, we might not even have a chance to steal anymore."

Michelle remained silent.

"I don't care! If I don't do anything tonight, I'll never forgive myself. If you have a problem with that, try stopping me. Or, why don't you come with me?"

Michelle gritted her teeth: "Hmph! Good men are meant to be fought over. Even if Peter were married, so what?"

Under the mischievous gaze of the Lance sisters, the two women boldly charged in.

Sarah smiled: "No mortal woman can resist a true hero..."

Peter was seriously injured. After returning home, he ate and drank excessively, finishing half of the food in the refrigerator. He could clearly feel the muscles in his back growing back.

The new skin and muscles are still very delicate and need some time to fully develop; for now, they are merely superficial.

Just as he let out a satisfied burp and collapsed onto his bed, two beautiful women he couldn't refuse burst into his room...

"No! Wait! You can't!" Peter was dumbfounded.

"Don't feel guilty, this is just our way of expressing our gratitude."

Peter ultimately didn't violently resist. Rather, he was incredibly conflicted. He already felt somewhat guilty about Liz's father's death. But when he returned, Gwen told him that Liz's father was no ordinary man, and that several of Adrian's men were wanted criminals on the police's blacklist.

Peter was a little confused.

Just then, his soulmate Mary Jane appeared, and Peter really didn't have much will to resist.

The two women had experienced extreme fear here. The only person who could give them a sense of security was Peter.

And so, high school student Peter... lost all his integrity!

A lot happened that night.

Unaware that Peter, caught up in the pink vortex, was constantly being told about the Osborne Group on television.

"Norman Osborn, the notorious largest shareholder of the Osborn Corporation, and his son Harry Osborn, have been identified by the police as the masterminds and perpetrators of the Empire State Building terrorist attack. They kidnapped a group of innocent civilians to force Spider-Man to fight them. In the process, they brutally murdered more than fifty innocent people, including security personnel from the Empire State Building."

The video shows a portion of the Empire State Building's internal surveillance footage, clearly showing Harry casually killing a security guard.

"Recently, the Osborn Corporation has been involved in several heinous incidents of illegally modifying humans with biochemical agents. From Dr. Connors, the 'Lizard' who caused chaos on the Golden Gate Bridge, to the recent Electro man's sabotage of the power plant, and now the kidnapping and murder at the Empire State Building, all existing evidence points to the Osborn father and son..."
