Chapter 35 Ang's father is actually...

Ang noticed the slight unease on Gwen's face, and then glanced at Spider-Man out of the corner of his eye, discovering that he was shamelessly enjoying the praise from his classmates and the advances of a beautiful woman.

This was Peter's long-suppressed release.

More than their minor disagreements, Ang was curious about what would happen next.

The timeline is definitely messed up.

Normally, the appearance of the Vulture would occur in another timeline after Tony Stark and Peter joined the war. Now, in this chaotic world, it's surprising that it appears simultaneously with the second Green Goblin. Keep in mind, when the Green Goblin Harry caused trouble, it was a buy-one-get-one-free deal.

This is really going to be hilarious.

However, Ang was confident he could keep the situation under control.

"This is youth!" Ang smiled as he left the school.

The grand party first alarmed Peter's uncle and aunt. When Aunt May heard that her handsome young man had been chosen by a beautiful woman from a good family, she was overjoyed and personally dressed him up, preparing a suit and the like.

There's just one problem: Parker doesn't own a car.

New York City's public transportation system has a rather limited coverage area, so getting to Liz's suburban villa by bus was out of the question. Peter usually hitched a ride with Uncle George, but the thought of promising to drive Uncle George to a party at a hot girl's house...

Parker was afraid that Uncle George would beat him to death.

Just then, Peter suddenly received a phone call.

"Harry?"

"Hey buddy, worrying about how to get to a party?"

Peter immediately realized what was going on: "Can you give me one?"

"Okay, buddy!"

Peter chatted with Harry for a while, then hung up the phone and let out a long sigh of relief.

On the afternoon of the party, Harry drove Peter to his destination in a McLaren.

In theory, Harry would be the coolest kid in the room.

With his perfectly styled 82-parted hair and expensive designer clothes, the eldest son of the Osborne family stunned the young men and women in front of the villa's gate the moment he appeared.

Clearly, Peter, this poor boy, was just a supporting character.

Harry enjoyed being the subject of so much gossip.

"Oh! Peter, you look really handsome today." Liz's beautiful figure appeared at the door. She was wearing an elaborate white long dress with a high slit that showed off her beautiful legs.

Harry and Peter stared wide-eyed.

Unfortunately, it was Liz who came up to hug Peter, which made Harry feel a little uncomfortable.

Just then, a convoy attracted everyone's attention.

Two Lexus SUVs, clearly bulletproof, escorted Peter from the front and back. The Rolls-Royce in the middle looked somewhat familiar to Peter.

First, the bodyguard got out of the car and opened the door, and then his old acquaintance Ang appeared.

But when Ang politely helped a beautiful woman out of the car, Peter froze: "Gwen?"

Isn't that right?

Gwen looked radiant today, also wearing a white dress with an X-shaped halter neckline in the front and a large open back. Girls with smaller figures couldn't pull off such a dress.

Clothes make the man, and this outfit immediately put Gwen ahead of Liz.

Peter felt a little uneasy watching Gwen naturally take Ang's arm.

"Hi! Mr. Ang, Gwen..." Peter had barely finished greeting her when he noticed someone's thoughtfulness.

Because in the SUV behind, the bodyguard opened the door and brought out a group of girls—Mary Jane, Michelle, basically all the pretty girls who had been with Peter that day and had also received an invitation from Liz.

As soon as they got out of the car, they came over to greet Liz, and then they all surrounded Parker.

Ang raised an eyebrow: "I just enjoy helping others."

Gwen suddenly got angry: "Did you do this on purpose after you guessed it?"

"Even so."

Before the two could start arguing, Harry came up.

"Harry Osborn".

"Ang".

The two introduced themselves.

"I heard Mr. Ang is also going to get involved in the field of genetic engineering?" Harry's words were clearly tinged with a hint of probing.

They didn't know each other before, but whether it's Gotham or New York, this circle of the wealthy isn't huge, but it's not small either. Each field is dominated by one or a few families, and if Ang wants to invest in genetic engineering, he can't avoid the Osborn Group.

"Perhaps!" Ang said noncommittally.

"Although this is our first meeting, I would like to offer you some advice."

"Hmm?" Ang raised an eyebrow. "You tell me, I'm listening."

"Outsiders without connections shouldn't mess around. Otherwise, you might burn all your money to the ground." This wasn't just a test; it was a threat: "Finally, don't mess with my good buddy Peter, or you'll regret it."

Clearly, if they truly cared about Peter, they shouldn't have created obstacles for him and Liz. Harry saw through Anger's intentions; he was just there to cause trouble.

Ang blinked, but inwardly he was laughing his head off: Green Goblin standing up for Spider-Man? Oh, Peter, cherish your friendship now.

Just then, Ang, Gwen, and Peter simultaneously sensed something, and a commotion broke out in the crowd.

Nothing more than the arrival of Iron Man.

A strange, metallic humanoid creature, painted in red and gold, descended from the sky.

Witnessing the majestic spray and feeling the excited screams of the crowd, at this moment, everyone truly felt who was the top star in New York City, and even the entire United States.

"Oh my god! Tony! I love you—" Several pretty girls who were just surrounding Peter joined the others and headed toward the direction where Iron Man had landed.

"Oh, step back, ladies, I'm afraid I'll hurt you." Iron Man's futuristic helmet opened, revealing Tony's charming face, immediately triggering a second round of screams from the girls.

No one expected that Tony would ignore everyone, emerge from the Iron Man armor, and go straight to Ang.

"Hey buddy, can we chat privately?"

Countless people were shocked and stunned at this moment.

Gwen suddenly remembered Ang's earlier self-introduction, in which he said he was a shareholder of Stark Industries. Now it seemed that it was actually true.

Harry Osborn's face turned pale and then red. He had just threatened Anger, and now Anger had stepped in to defend him.

Isn't this a slap in the face?

Compared to top-tier military-industrial conglomerates like the Stark Industries, which can influence the Department of Defense, the Osborn Corporation is second-rate. Harry immediately swallowed his breath.

It must be admitted that Liz was a very sensible girl. As one of the hostesses, she stepped forward and said, "Would you two like to have a private talk? Please come to the reception room over here."

Upon entering the meeting room, Tony stretched out his hand, and a special device activated, unfolding a green light screen that completely enveloped the two of them within a three-meter radius.

"Don't worry, this is just a small gadget to block spying. It can temporarily disable other electronic systems, including video and audio recording devices."

"Alright, Mr. Stark, nice to meet you."

Before Ang could finish speaking, Tony plopped down on the sofa, crossed his legs, and said, "Stop pretending, Ethan asked me to thank you."

Ang looked embarrassed for a moment, then relaxed and asked, "Oh, is he alright?"

"He's my most capable assistant now. Yes, I thought you'd try to deny it."

"How did you find out?"

"Please, the Department of Defense is watching Stark's stock. You can use a few shell companies to operate, which is generally undetectable. But you're using my company's name everywhere, and ultimately, you're the major shareholder of that holding company. How could I not guess?"

"How are you feeling right now?" Ang sat down comfortably, resting his chin on his left hand, adopting a watchful expression.

"I don't feel anything. It's just that some people in the Department of Defense don't like Stark teaming up with Wayne Enterprises, but I managed to stop it, since you only get dividends and don't have a controlling stake."

No!

and many more!

Are you talking about Wayne Enterprises?

Tony's words completely stunned Ang.

Things have been going so smoothly lately that, unless Tony brings it up, Ang would have almost forgotten about finding out who his adoptive father was. After all, he's an unlimited ATM! Who wouldn't like that?

He had investigated, but clearly, it was beyond his capabilities to find out.

Now look what's happened. He rescued Tony and used dirty money to acquire Stark shares. The Department of Defense has uncovered his entire past.

That said, there are only a few wealthy families in Gotham City. Apart from Batman and the Kane family from the comics, the rest are all somewhat shady.

The original owner of this body had Batman as his father, which is definitely a bittersweet thing.

Batman is known for his incorruptibility and immense wealth, which explains why he only provides money to his illegitimate son and ignores everything else. Moreover, there's a high probability that if the son gets into trouble, Batman will immediately rush to his aid and punish him.

It makes me angry just thinking about it. I, Ang, am your son, after all. When I was being chased by Black Mask, didn't you, the Guardian of Gotham, come to my rescue? If I didn't have the Godslayer System, I would be dead!

Thinking of this, Ang felt incredibly resentful: "I am me, and he is him. If circumstances allow, I wouldn't mind severing all ties with the Wayne Group."

Tony paused for a moment, then said, "OK, I understand."
