Godslayer in the Marvel Universe

Chapter 33 Spider-Man's Shura Field

Chapter 33 Spider-Man's Shura Field

Midtown Middle School was as noisy as ever.

High school is a delicate stage where young boys and girls can freely release their hormones without having to engage in the deceit and scheming of adults.

Therefore, they express their love and hate quite directly.

Next to the storage shelves in the school corridor, a large group of students were preparing their school supplies, changing out of their personal belongings and taking out their textbooks and such.

When they saw Eugene Thompson, whose face seemed to say "the whole world owes me money," walking towards Peter, the crowd parted to make way, their faces showing the typical look of someone watching a spectacle unfold.

"Hey Peter! Don't say I didn't give you a chance to prove you're a real man! How about we go to the boxing ring and fight after class? If you're scared, you can wear a full set of protective gear." [Lightning] has been annoyed with Peter for a long time. He's an extreme person; he either hates someone intensely or idolizes someone intensely.

"Wow! Eugene's here again!" As soon as these words were spoken, the crowd immediately began to murmur.

Students, you know, love a good show.

Just when everyone thought that the skinny Peter would politely refuse Eugene as always, Peter only paused for a moment before revealing a mysterious smile: "Okay! See you after school."

"Refuse? I'm not surprised at all, you're such a spineless coward... Wait! You agreed?" Eugene gave a smug speech, only to be surprised to find that the guy opposite him with the face of boundless suffering had actually agreed.

The astonishment on Eugene's face gave Peter a glint of satisfaction in his eyes.

Peter opened his arms wide and said generously, "Yes! I promised, and all the students here are my witnesses."

"Oh my gosh!" The crowd erupted in excitement; this was some serious gossip!

Eugene perfectly portrayed his role: "Okay! Peter, don't leave after class! You just wait!"

Not far away, Gwen sighed, unsure of what to say, and could only silently mourn for Eugene for three seconds.

Regardless, the two sides were fighting a proper match in the boxing ring, which is not a private brawl. At least in terms of class, it's much more respectable.

The news spread quickly throughout the entire school.

The students were so excited that they couldn't concentrate in class and were all whispering among themselves.

After a long wait, they rushed to the gymnasium, cheering and shouting the names of the two sides in the battle!

"Eugene! Eugene! Eugene!"

"Peter! Peter! Peter!"

To be honest, Peter wasn't very popular on campus. Apart from being good at studying, he wasn't particularly outstanding in other aspects.

However, since everyone harbored some dislike for Eugene, the cheers for Peter were quite loud.

Gwen was surprised to see that Ang was also there. The principal was sitting to his right, and his secretary and bodyguards were sitting on the row of benches behind him.

Gwen hesitated before stepping forward to greet him: "Mr. Ang, what brings you here...?"

Ang smiled without saying a word: "Should I tell you that the very first page of the zombie Marvel Cinematic Universe comic is Peter the zombie biting someone in public during a live stream? With nothing else to do, of course I'm keeping an eye on another Peter."

"Oh, Miss Stacy? You two know each other? That's perfect." The headmaster said cheerfully, "Mr. Ang is currently planning to join our school's board of directors and is looking into the school. If it's convenient for you, Miss Stacy, could you please introduce the school to Mr. Ang for me?"

Ang gave a bright smile: "I'm just planning to invest a little bit of money."

Gwen: "..."

In the United States, both public and private schools receive government funding and private donations for academic research. Regardless of the type of donor, the principal is someone they have to fawn over.

Gwen couldn't say anything when Ang walked into the school so grandly; she could only gracefully adjust her skirt and sit down next to Ang.

At that moment, an exaggerated scream suddenly erupted around the boxing ring.

If you listen carefully, you'll find that 99% of the sounds are actually excited shouts from female students.

For no reason...

Just because Peter took his clothes off!

He was shirtless, wearing loose boxer shorts, which was standard attire for male boxers.

This applies to any serious boxing match.

Eugene is a muscle man; everyone already knows that.

Surprisingly, Peter's upper body was full of streamlined muscles. He truly embodied the saying "looks slim in clothes, but muscular underneath!"

No wonder the girls were screaming.

Youth! It's all about overflowing hormones!

Boys like pretty girls.

What girl doesn't like a handsome and fit guy?

Peter was already handsome, and with his muscular physique, his popularity with girls skyrocketed.

In an instant, the cheers for Peter completely drowned out the cheers for Eugene.

As luck would have it, as Eugene looked around, he caught a glimpse of Ang's figure.

Eugene's face darkened further, and he cursed inwardly: "Damn Peter Parker! I'll show you that I'm the second strongest man in the world!"

He shouted, "Peter! This time, no one will protect you anymore. Want to put on a boxing balaclava? Or do you need a woman's skirt as a shield?"

Eugene took the taunting to the extreme.

Peter replied coldly, "No need!"

Spider-Man lightly pressed his glove-wearing hand against the ring cable, and miraculously, he floated up and flipped into the ring area.

Such a light and stylish move immediately drew another round of screams from the girls.

As a legitimate duel—no, a boxing match—everything here is perfectly normal.

First, a beautiful Black girl held up a sign that read "Round 1" and circled the boxing ring. Then, a teacher acting as the referee pulled the two boxers together and repeated the rules of boxing.

Ang subconsciously glanced at the woman a couple more times and had to admit: aside from her dark skin, she was indeed a rare beauty, with delicate features, elegant manners, and a slender figure.

The environment was too noisy, so Gwen had to lean closer to speak. She whispered in Ang's ear, "What? Interested? Her name is Liz Tooms!"

Ang was immediately embarrassed.

It was her!?

Ang's heart skipped a beat, but he immediately continued his search, and sure enough, he found another girl, Michelle Jones.

He only heard the rumor last night that Mary Jane had appeared. Now two more have shown up—and historically, they were both Spider-Man's girlfriends!

This isn't a boxing match, it's Spider-Man's battleground!

Ang is professionally trained and generally doesn't laugh unless he can't help it.

"puff!"

Gwen looked at Ang strangely, then followed his gaze to Michelle, a Black girl with wavy hair. She was a little confused; if Ang were a pervert, he definitely wouldn't be reacting this way.

"I'm sorry, Miss Stacy, I lost my composure. I just suddenly thought of something funny. I couldn't help it." Then, Ang suddenly lowered his voice and whispered in Gwen's ear, "They are not within my hunting grounds."

At that moment, the bell rang to start the boxing match.

Enraged, Eugene launched a vicious right hook, the powerful punch even producing an exaggerated whooshing sound.

The audience exclaimed, "Wow!"

They could hardly imagine what it would be like if that punch landed on Peter's handsome face.

That must hurt a lot, right?

Unexpectedly, the next second, Peter dodged with incredible agility.

To outsiders, this was undoubtedly a dangerous dodge.

From Gwen and Ang's perspective, they watched the entire process of how Peter "played" Eugene.

Compared to Peter's movements, Eugene was like a clumsy bear, more ferocious than agile.

What good is great strength if you can't hit the target?

"Aaaaaah!" Unwilling to give up, Eugene roared loudly, no longer underestimating his opponent. Instead, he raised his fists to protect his vitals and moved closer to launch a probing attack on Peter with short, quick jabs.

It must be admitted that even though he is not a professional athlete, Eugene's boxing skills are quite good.

Unfortunately, in the world of martial arts, speed is the only thing that cannot be broken.

No matter how many punches Eugene rained down on him, Peter managed to dodge them all 100%. In the end, Peter even let his hands hang down naturally, without moving his feet, only swinging his upper body to dodge.

This amplified the excited screams of the female onlookers.

Dropping all defenses and relying solely on reaction time and body movements to dodge—the last person to do that was Muhammad Ali. At his peak, Ali was truly unstoppable.

Peter now has that same flavor.

Eugene, like a raging bear, finally opened his fist wide in a fit of fury, ready to deliver a fatal blow to Peter.

Then there is no more then.

A seemingly light uppercut landed on his chin, and he immediately collapsed to the ground.

KO!

"Whoa whoa whoa—" The students' cheers soared into the sky, as if they were about to lift the roof off the gymnasium.

Peter raised his arms high, like a true god of war, accepting the worship of all his classmates.

Over here, Ang and Gwen were both clapping politely.

This kind of dramatic reversal is worth watching even if you already know the outcome.

Just then, something even more exciting happened to the onlookers.

As Peter strode off the boxing ring, Liz Allen, who had just been holding up the ring, pounced on him and gave him a hard kiss on the lips.

"Ahhh!" The crowd immediately erupted in excited screams.

Heroes paired with beauties – this is a timeless trope that never gets old.

Almost everyone screamed with excitement, except for Mary Jane, who happened to be watching from a window outside the stadium, Gwen inside, and Miss Michelle…

Their subtle expressions, as observed by Ang, became a classic scene reminiscent of a classic love triangle. He couldn't help but recall Betty, another beautiful woman in the comics who had a fling with Spider-Man; it was she and Liz who encountered Mary Jane that time.

Perhaps this is what they call "Spider-Man and his tragic battleground."
