Chapter 95 Justice or Evil

"This guy's got guts!"

"Stop staring! If you don't run, you might get caught in the crossfire!"

In an underground passage, a group of homeless people hurriedly emerged from the dark tunnel, each of them looking somewhat panicked.

At this moment, in the dimly lit underground passage, amidst shouts, two masked men were brutally beating a middle-aged man in a suit who was lying on the ground.

"I really have no money left!"

The man couldn't help but cry out in pain, but the two masked men still didn't stop.

"You dare to lie to us? That suit of yours alone is worth a fortune! Looks like you really don't want to live!"

With a vicious kick, she struck the man hard on the head, making him dizzy and disoriented.

One of the men finally couldn't stand it anymore and started tearing at the man's clothes, tearing off his filthy suit. The next moment, he reached into the man's inner clothing, seemingly wanting to personally search for the money the man had hidden.

God knows how long they had been lying in wait in this area before they finally caught this seemingly big fish.

Those homeless people were even poorer than them, but without orders from their superiors, they dared not commit crimes in other places. This was already considered a relatively remote and overlooked corner of the East District!

Only after stripping the man of all his clothes did the masked man slowly stand up.

"Fuck!"

While shouting insults, she kicked the man hard in the chest again.

vomit!

The kick landed heavily on the upper abdomen, instantly causing the man to gag.

"This guy really has no money!"

"Damn it, we've been eating dirt these past few days, and we don't dare rob those shops. I really don't understand why the boss insisted on sending us to the East District. Damn it, those guys in the Inquisition are way scarier than Batman!"

"It's only because of the recent rumors circulating in the underworld that the Inquisition Council seems to have left Gotham East that we took this risk..."

"Damn it, what if we run into them? Those guys are even more ruthless than us, they kill without batting an eye! I'd rather be thrown in jail by Batman!"

Looking at the man who was curled up on the ground, not daring to make a sound, one of the taller criminals couldn't help but spit out a mouthful of saliva.

"Why bother wearing such nice clothes if you don't have the money?"

pat!

A soft sound of footsteps treading on the water rose slowly, sounding slightly jarring in the otherwise quiet passage.

"Huh? Damn it, didn't I tell you to get lost? Who the hell has the guts to come back?"

Thinking that the homeless people had sneaked back into the tunnel, one of the criminals walked into the darkness while cursing.

However, his eyes lit up slightly when he saw the man crouching on the ground in front of him.

He's not a homeless person!

Amazed that fish would actually crawl into the basket on their own, she instinctively drew the dagger from her waist and walked directly towards the man.

"Brother, hand over your money! I'm not saying this twice!!!"

The dagger in his hand was pressed against the neck of the man who was hanging his head and not saying a word.

As if to make it more effective, he even extended the dagger slightly forward, and it instantly plunged into the man's neck. A trickle of unusually bright red blood slowly slid down the blade.

"?"

His companion behind him also looked over in this direction with some curiosity. The next moment, he took a step back in horror. He saw that the man who had been pressed against his companion's neck suddenly jumped up and lay prone in front of his companion's neck, doing something unknown.

Knowing his partner's personality, he naturally understood that something might be wrong with the current situation.

"Oh shit!"

He drew his dagger and charged forward, but before he could take more than a few steps, his companion's body slowly fell toward him. Instinctively, he spread his arms to catch his friend, and upon looking at him, he was instantly terrified by his companion's current appearance.

A chunk of flesh was torn from his neck, and spurts of blood sprayed out, instantly drenching his face.

Staring in astonishment at the mysterious man whose face was half-covered in blood, he let out a strange cry and ran frantically toward the other side of the tunnel.

However, the mysterious man was much faster than him, even leaping over the wall on one side and knocking him straight to the ground.

With a scream, the man's voice came to an abrupt halt. The man in the suit, who had been lying on the ground, stared in astonishment at the change in the scene. He was trembling violently. Although he couldn't see the scene clearly because of the dim light, the horrifying sight had still terrified him.

At this moment, he dared not breathe, and lay prone on the ground, pretending to be dead. After seeing the mysterious man's astonishing speed, he immediately gave up the desire to escape.

He prayed constantly in his heart, even begging for the arrival of the Judgment Council.

However, as the unhurried footsteps approached, the mysterious man stood before him.

"Hey? I did save you, didn't I?"

?

The man looked up in astonishment at the figure in front of him. As the figure drew closer, he saw a face covered in blood. The mysterious man was grinning at him, his sharp fangs instantly coming into view.

"I...I'm not with them!"

The man stammered, looking pleadingly at the man who was staring at him with a strange gaze.

"I know!"

Kyle chuckled softly, the next moment just as he was about to bare his fangs and transform the man who saw his appearance.

His ears perked up slightly; a faint commotion was heard at the tunnel exit.

She slowly closed her mouth, staring blankly at the man in front of her.

Are there any other roads here?

"Ah, over there, we can leave from there too!"

The man quickly pointed to the darkness behind him, to the depths of the tunnel where there was not a single ray of light.

Just now, when he saw the man open his mouth and reveal his fangs, he subconsciously thought that the man in front of him would bite him to death like he had bitten the two criminals earlier. However, things took an unexpected turn.

His figure vanished quickly beside him, and the man disappeared directly into the depths of the dark tunnel.

As he was feeling somewhat puzzled yet slightly relaxed, a figure appeared before him. The newcomer made not a sound, carrying a longbow with arrows on her back and a longsword at her side. With her curvaceous figure, the man concluded that the woman in black was a woman.

"He got away again..."

A slightly indifferent voice slowly rang out, and a man carrying two swords on his back came up behind the woman.

"This guy seems to have extremely keen hearing and perception..."
