Chapter 10 Vasily's Beliefs

"So, all of this was a conspiracy by the Blood Lord, the progenitor of vampires?"

Vasily chuckled, feeling as if he had heard the biggest joke in the world.

"Hey bro, didn't you see what happened just now? Those pale-faced guys, they're blood-sucking monsters!"

Gus exclaimed, sounding somewhat disappointed.

"Those guys are probably just infected with some kind of disease; vampires, those fantastical creatures, don't even exist!"

Vasily shook his head. Those strange people hadn't attacked him, so he just assumed they had some mental issues.

"You bastard! Lin... why aren't you saying anything?" Gus, somewhat exasperated, suddenly noticed Lin Jue, who was standing calmly to the side.

Lin Jue remained expressionless and calm, grabbing Gus, who was about to follow Vasily into the gate of the rodent control health bureau.

Gus looked at Lin Jue with some doubt, not understanding what this mysterious Asian youth was thinking.

Lin Jue said calmly, standing at the entrance of the Health Bureau, watching Vasily walk into his workplace.
