Chapter 92 Batman VS Gino

"Click-clack~"

The sharp batarang made of high-quality steel was easily bent and twisted.

But the pale hands were completely unharmed.

Those hands seemed to be far stronger than steel.

"Ding-dong~"

The iron block, kneaded into a refined scrap iron, made a crisp sound when it hit the stone slab.

Gino clapped his hands, tilted his head, and stared at him, as if to say: Is that all you've got?

The fluorescent light shone on Batman, who said in a low voice, "Did you kill those people?"

"Oh, I killed him, so what?"

Gino spread his hands, his attitude hostile, and a "hoho" laugh came from under his pure white mask.

"So, you killed them." Batman's tone shifted to a statement.

Gino didn't answer Batman, but instead said to himself, "Do you know?"

Every Saturday, the Gotham Daily News in Gotham City allocates a small section for a lifestyle column called "Gotham Is."

"In this section, randomly selected Gotham citizens will complete the sentence 'Gotham is…'."

"I've been looking through the newspapers from the last few weeks."

Gino leaned lazily against the cold wall and said, "They say Gotham is..."

"Damn it."

"Cursed."

"madhouse."

"Bloodthirsty."

"It is hopeless, it is vicious, it is a slim chance of winning."

"These answers are all very interesting."

"But none of them are the answers I think are correct."

His voice gradually rose, and his previously languid posture vanished. He straightened his back and raised his head.

With his arms outstretched, the incandescent light shone behind him, making his silhouette seem to be bathed in a beautiful halo.

Gino raised his arms high, his voice booming, "To me, Gotham is interesting!"

"The corruption in her bones is constantly breeding and nurturing new madmen."

"They screamed, they laughed, they cheered and committed evil around Gotham!"

"I love Gotham so much!" Gino laughed loudly.

This is certainly not because he has gone mad or been infected with clown laughing gas.

It's because if you were to rank all the villains in the world, no one could surpass Gotham City.

The famous Gotham City, teeming with talent, is home to Arkham.

These villains are all walking negative points, so how could Gino not be happy?!

"You're crazy."

Batman looked at the guy who was laughing loudly in a low voice.

"Now, all you need to do is go to Arkham Asylum for treatment!"

Batman's unwelcome words interrupted Gino's performance. The boy lowered his arm somewhat helplessly, chuckled, and said, "That's the only thing I don't like about you, Batman."

"The Joker is right, you're always too serious."

"Why don't you smile more?"

His words struck Batman like a hammer blow.

His innate skepticism led him to immediately begin to wonder if he knew someone named "The Joker," and then to ponder the Joker's relationship with this guy.

Batman grew increasingly nervous, sensing an invisible net slowly spreading out from the other person.

"Alright, let's get back to the main topic, little bat."

Gino rubbed his neck, his eyes beneath the mask fixed on Bruce: "You said you were going to throw me in Arkham Asylum, but reality is cruel."

"How will you bring me to justice?"

"With your laughable bat-darts?"

Gino took a long stride and slowly walked towards Batman.

With each step, as the distance closed, a terrifying aura and killing intent rose from around the masked man.

Batman clenched his fists, his breathing quickened, his body tensed, and his pupils contracted slightly.

The two attacked simultaneously in the next instant.

"Whoosh!"

Batman's cape rustled through the air as he flicked it to obscure his opponent's vision. Then, in a spinning motion, he delivered a powerful right kick to his opponent's cheek.

The moment the battle began, Batman, the resourceful master of combat, had already planned his fighting style and methods.

"All you need to do is hit the jaw nerve, then use your elbow to grip the person's neck and suffocate them with eleven pounds of force."

"Splash!"

Batman's black cape flew off and slammed into his opponent, executing a perfect "escape" maneuver, like a ferocious predator pouncing on its prey.

"Snapped!"

The arms clamped around the neck, and the muscles in both arms bulged as they exerted force.

The force enough to crush a person's neck is applied to the opponent.

But Batman only felt like he was exerting force on a block of iron.

Not only did his opponent remain completely still, he even heard a sneer coming from behind the mask: "Too weak."

This was the second time Gino had said this, and he seemed a little bored.

The current bat cubs are still too weak.

Before being trained by Scarecrow, Two-Face, and the Joker, Batman was just a greenhorn.

"Snapped!"

A cold arm gripped Batman's wrist, and then a terrifying force surged from the arm and spread throughout his entire arm.

"Bang!"

Gino threw Batman behind him in a classic back throw.

Like a cannonball, it slammed Batman hard against the wall.

"Ahem!"

Batman opened his mouth and spat out two mouthfuls of blood.

The pain was excruciating; it felt like my internal organs were on fire.

The black breastplate was shriveled and stained with red blood.

Every bone felt sore.

Batman's legs trembled uncontrollably, but his heart was in turmoil.

One punch, just one punch!

That terrifying power gave Batman a new understanding of the Mysterious Man.

The opponent's strength is definitely beyond what I can currently handle.

The mysterious man's voice carried a hint of frivolity: "That's it? How could I possibly lose?"

As he spoke, Gino slowly walked toward Batman, who was struggling to get up while leaning against the wall.

"I need to help you grow, bat. Don't refuse this gift."

Before he could finish speaking, an arm suddenly grabbed Batman's neck, lifted him up easily, and slammed him against the wall.

His face slowly pressed against the bat mask, his voice like a ghost: "Remember today's nightmare, you little bat!"

Snapped!

He freed one hand to hold Batman's legs and slowly lifted them up.

"Huh?" Batman tried to struggle, but the punch he had just received had rendered his body unable to resist.

He watched as he was slowly lifted up.

then!

"Clatter!"

A sound like bones breaking echoed in the empty corridor, accompanied by the painful cries of bats.

"Thump!"

Like a spineless stray dog, Batman collapsed to the ground in agony, the extreme pain causing him to clench his teeth so tightly that blood seeped from his gums.

"Ding, negative emotions from Batman +1000, +1000."

Gino looked at the man who had fainted from the pain.

In the last second before Bruce lost consciousness, he vaguely heard the voice say, "Remember tonight, bat. Remember this fear, and then become stronger. Next time, don't let me down again."
