Chapter 8 with Clark

To the onlookers, Whitney simply swung his fist at Ginobili, and then his arm broke without warning, gushing out a lot of blood.

"Oh my god, is Gino a devil?" a student who believed in ghosts and gods asked in a terrified tone.

But a girl quickly retorted, "Why can't it be God's blessing? He's so handsome, like an angel. God must have disapproved of Whitney's behavior and sent divine punishment!"

Opinions among the public are divided, and there is much discussion about Gino's performance.

This new transfer student has once again become a hot topic after the car chase incident.

Just then, a figure pushed through the crowd and rushed into the scene of the fight. Lana stared in shock at the blood everywhere and her boyfriend's severed arm, and cried out in panic, "Quick, call an ambulance!"

"You hurt him!?" Lana raised her head and glared at Gino.

At the same moment the girl appeared, Gino and Clark both turned deathly pale.

"Thump."

Clark was the first to collapse from exhaustion.

"Shit! Clark fainted from the sight of blood!" Chloe and Pete rushed to Clark's side, trying to lift the unconscious man, and said urgently, "We need an ambulance."

Gino's gaze swept over the green necklace around the girl's neck, and he quickly moved his legs to create distance between himself and Lana, only then did the feeling of weakness in his body leave him.

"Damn it, it's kryptonite."

Gino cursed inwardly. Superman's abilities awaken with age. Besides his iron body, super strength, and super speed, he hadn't yet awakened super vision and X-ray vision. Only today did he see that Lana Blue was wearing a green kryptonite around her neck!

After saying that, Gino walked over to Chloe and the other man and helped Clark up.

The group helped the unconscious Clark out of the corridor.

As Gino gradually left the noisy corridor behind, tonight was destined to be a sleepless night.

"What should we do? Take him to the hospital? Use your sports car?" Chloe struggled to lift Clark's shoulders; she felt like she was carrying a bull.

"No, there's no need to take him to the hospital." Gino exhaled and held up three fingers: "Three, two, one."

As soon as he finished speaking, Clark, who had been unconscious, suddenly woke up, opened his eyes, and gasped for breath.

Chloe and Pete, standing to the side, looked as if they had seen a ghost, and their gazes toward Gino were now filled with a sense of awe.

It seems like they can predict the future?

Awakening, Clark rubbed his forehead. The boy took a few seconds to check his condition, then looked at Gino with concern and said seriously, "We need to talk, Gino!"

At that moment, the sirens of ambulances and police cars could be heard outside the school gate.

Gino pointed to the Bugatti sports car:

"But school isn't a place for chatting."

"Come with me."

Gino took Clark away from the school, and the silver-white Bugatti, bathed in the twilight, sped away like a silver streak, leaving Chloe and Pete looking at each other in bewilderment.

"I have a feeling these two guys are a bit mysterious?"

A silver sports car is parked on the side of the road on a cement bridge outside the town.

Gino and Clark stood on the bridge, staring at the lake below.

The two faces were reflected in the lake, which shimmered with golden light under the setting sun.

Gino was indifferent to the matter of revealing his identity to Clark.

Clark is no ordinary person, not to mention that the other party will eventually awaken his X-ray vision ability and discover the abnormality in his body sooner or later.

Gino smiled and looked up at the sunset: "Saving the world and taking on responsibilities is too tiring."
