Chapter 6 The Popular Transfer Student

The school bus quickly stopped at the school gate.

The students disembarked from the school bus one after another.

Many students' attention was immediately drawn to the silver-white Bugatti sports car.

After all, among a group of old-fashioned pickup trucks, Gino's Bugatti sports car stood out like a crane among chickens, attracting the attention of the high school students.

What drives many girls even crazier is the figure standing next to that sports car.

He has long golden hair, a tall stature, and a handsome face.

Gino's long, slender fingers rested on the shy Clark's shoulder. His playful, irreverent smile, unrestrained gestures, and the perfectly defined abs faintly visible beneath his white shirt all stirred the hearts of many restless teenage girls, making their hearts race and their blood pressure soar.

Years of sunshine and wealth have given Gino a perfect temperament and handsome appearance, along with an overbearing confidence that makes him an undeniable heartthrob.

Seeing many students casting their gazes in their direction, Clark, who had never received such immense attention before, was momentarily at a loss. Like a puppet on a string, he was led towards the campus by Gino with his arm around his neck.

"This feeling isn't bad, is it?" Clark and Gino walked into the campus with their arms around each other and their heads down, while not forgetting to steal glances at the goddess Lana Blue who was also looking in their direction.

Although this new classmate was a bit arrogant, in American schools, boys who could hang out with cool kids were also considered cool kids, and this feeling of being the center of attention greatly satisfied young Clark's restless ego.

He feels great now!

On the other side, the unlucky duo, Pete glanced at his best friend Chloe and said with some regret, "Looks like I guessed the worst. This sports car kid is unbelievably handsome."

Chloe sighed, took five dollars out of her pocket, and handed it to the young man: "You won the bet."

She has now seen groups of girls who consider themselves pretty deliberately passing by Gino and Clark, making giggling noises to attract the attention of the blond heartthrob.

"Looks like I'm out of luck," Chloe sighed, but quickly composed herself and asked her friend Pete with great interest, "Do you think inviting him to join the Campus Daily Club would attract more talented people?"

Pete glanced at Chloe: "How could you ask such a stupid question?"

"This new student has become the school's hottest 'star,' and the girls are practically staring at him with drool!"

"What you need to think about is how to get this blond boy to join your newspaper."

Chloe nodded in agreement, then, watching Clark speak with Gino, who seemed somewhat shy, said, "Perhaps we could ask Clark for help?"

"That blond boy seemed to be treating Clark well."

Chloe immediately took action.

"Hey, Clark."

The girl ran up to the two boys, blocking their way, and glanced at Gino, saying, "I really didn't expect you to make good friends so quickly?"

Clark awkwardly rubbed his nose: "Hey, Chloe, who is this?"

"Gino, Gino Luther." Gino interrupted Clark's introduction, smiled at the girl, and the two were now acquainted.

"So it's the Luther family." Chloe gave an "I guess so" look. If it was the Luther family, then it wouldn't be surprising that they could afford a sports car.

"Oh shit, man, you actually own a Bugatti sports car."

Little Nick Pete also ran over to greet Gino: "You're a new student, right?"

Gino smiled and nodded, "That's right, my brother and I came to this town from the metropolis."

"I have to say, this place is much better than the metropolis. The air quality in that awful place is terrible."

With just a few words, Gino shortened the distance between himself and Clark and his two companions by praising their hometown, and all three of them showed expressions of pride.

While the group was talking, Lana Lan, who was not far away, was also watching the commotion.

The girl's gaze fell on Gino's face; she felt as if she had seen him somewhere when she was a child.

"Lana, honey, what are you looking at?" Lana's boyfriend, Whitney, the tall, blond captain of the rugby team, noticed his girlfriend's gaze.

He followed his girlfriend's gaze and saw Gino grinning mischievously as he chatted and laughed with the three freaks of the school.

Whitney was immediately filled with jealousy; it seemed her girlfriend had been attracted to Ginobili.

"Ha, this guy's the sports car kid from this morning. He's become quite the campus celebrity," Whitney said sarcastically to his girlfriend. "That lunatic almost crashed into our school bus."

Whitney was stirring things up in his girlfriend's ear, trying to reduce her affection for Gino.

"Huh? Oh, right, that guy is a bit crazy."

Lana snapped out of her reverie and smiled gently at her boyfriend: "I just thought that transfer student looked a bit like a boy I knew when I was little, but maybe I'm mistaken."

"Let's go, it's time for class." Lana picked up her schoolbag and walked towards the classroom.

Whitney glanced at his girlfriend as she turned to leave, his face dark, then looked at Gino, who was also staring at his girlfriend Lana's departing figure. Gino's arrogant demeanor immediately reminded Whitney of many suggestive scenarios.

Before even entering the campus, he had heard many classmates talking about this boy, saying that he was a good candidate to become the new school heartthrob.

As the former heartthrob, Whitney was naturally unhappy with these words, and coupled with the previous misunderstanding, Whitney felt a fire burning in her chest.

Whitney suddenly thought of the players the football team had finalized, and a cold smile crept onto her lips: "Just you wait, blondie."

"That list should be changed!"

Gino had no idea he was on the former school heartthrob's blacklist; his gaze was fixed on Lana as she walked into the classroom.

From the moment he stepped onto campus, he felt an uncomfortable sensation emanating from the girl, like a fish out of water or a traveler with a cold, making Gino feel unwell.

"There's something strange about this girl; I need to figure it out," Gino thought to himself.

Gino glanced at the time on his watch, then said goodbye to the three men: "Alright, guys, I'm going to report to the principal's office now. See you after class."

Gino said goodbye to the three and turned to walk towards the teaching building.

Gino arrived at the principal's office. The vice principal of the small town high school was a middle-aged Asian man. On his desk stood a small gold plaque that read "Mr. Guan".

"Hello, Mr. Gino Luther." The middle-aged Asian man stood up with a smile to greet Gino: "Welcome to our high school!"

Gino smiled and nodded, saying, "I'm also looking forward to my high school life."

Regarding Kryptonite, I can give you, dear readers, a hint: see if you can guess how easily the protagonist will resolve the effects of Kryptonite.

1. Lex and Gino have been collecting the corpses of those Kryptonite-modified individuals.

2. Lex witnessed Clark's immense power and knew...

Gino's assessment of Clark.

3. Lex is a genius scientist.

4. In the comics, Lex Luthor once created... the Crime Syndicate.

Xiao Mo has many ways of writing for the protagonist to easily overcome the effects of Kryptonite using his talent system. Those who have carefully read my introduction should be able to see that the protagonist's later replication of his talent is simply [Superman Template] + [xxx Template] = [xxx Superman]. So, what's Kryptonite compared to that?
