Chapter 392 Gino's Operation
Chapter 392 Gino's Operation
New Genesis Star.
A symbol of civilization, a synonym for technology, advancement, and freedom.
All sorts of strangely shaped flying machines roared through the Genesis Nebula.
On the tallest building amidst the white skyscrapers, an old man with white hair sat on his throne, gazing quietly at the distant night sky.
"Heavenly Father."
A young man walked into the hall, twisting his neck and saying arrogantly, "The latest news from the monitoring station is that two guys claiming to be Earthlings have requested to visit our Genesis Star."
"Earthlings? What kind of place is that?"
The white-haired old man tilted his head in confusion. It wasn't that he didn't know; rather, it was because for a high-level civilization like Genesis Star, Earth's reputation hadn't even spread beyond the Milky Way.
"A weak, remote, and arrogant civilization, they can't even travel between stars."
"Then why did you come to see me?"
The Father's expression turned somewhat displeased. He felt that his child shouldn't be bothering him with such trivial matters while he contemplated the future. He had always felt that Darkseid, that damned fellow, had never given up his ambition. He must be plotting some kind of conspiracy. Sooner or later, he would slip up and bring another terrible disaster to the universe.
"I know my father, but what's interesting is that these two guys can travel in space without relying on a spaceship."
"Oh?"
After hearing his child's report, the Heavenly Father frowned. After a moment's thought, he extended a finger and gently tapped the armrest of the throne, which symbolized power.
"That's interesting."
Perhaps it was the fatigue and exhaustion from overthinking, or perhaps it was a desire to try and change the current state of his life, but the Heavenly Father finally spoke, saying, "Let them both in."
He was quite interested in why these two backward Earth civilizations had come to him. Was it for technology, or for immortality?
The Father's child nodded and left.
Just as he was filled with anticipation, two figures were soon led into the main hall by his child.
But the Father's gaze immediately fell on the man beside the blond youth. For some reason, his heart began to tremble, as if that man had some inexplicable connection with him.
With this thought in mind, the Heavenly Father asked the man, "What is your name?"
The people who came to visit New Genesis were none other than Gino and Mr. Miracle.
The story begins 30 minutes earlier, when Batman went to his city to persuade the villains to reform, and Gino was also busy.
"Listen, Mr. Miracle, I know you have a deep conflict with your father, and it was indeed his fault. He shouldn't have abandoned you and left you in such a terrible place as Apokolips for so long."
Listening to Gino's words, Mr. Miracle felt a warm glow in his heart. Although he knew that the other party's purpose in saying these words was to persuade him to help him find allies on New Genesis, it did not mean that he disliked other people's sympathy.
"I understand. I will go to New Genesis with you, but that old man is very stubborn. He has always been deeply wary of Darkseid."
Well, perhaps the long war has made God the Father weary. Although he hates Darkseid, God the Father will not rashly start a war if Darkseid is willing to make peace.
"I know what you're thinking, but don't worry, leave this to me. I'll get your father to agree to join the alliance against Darkseid."
Mr. Miracle's thoughts were pulled back to the present. When he heard his biological father ask his name, he felt a little sad.
When that man abandoned him on Apokolips, he probably already accepted that he would die there.
When asked by the Father, Mr. Miracle replied expressionlessly, "Wanderer, my name is Wanderer."
Gino, who was listening to Mr. Miracle's words, had a strange expression. Although the other party kept saying that he had forgotten the past, how could a man not feel resentment when facing his biological father?
"The Wanderer." The Heavenly Father silently withdrew his gaze. To be honest, when he saw this man just now, he was momentarily reminded of the poor boy he had swapped with Apokolips.
If the other person were still alive, they would probably be the same age as this man.
Hundreds of years, or how long?
I can't remember it clearly anymore.
"So what are you here for?"
The Father's gaze fell on the blond boy, but the man who called himself a wanderer didn't seem willing to talk to him much, so he focused more attention on the young man in the lead.
The young man stood tall and had piercing eyes. Both his demeanor and his expression made the Heavenly Father feel that this guy was no ordinary person.
"It's very simple, Great Heavenly Father."
Gino took a small step forward, first offering a high compliment to the king of the Creator Planet, and then continued, "I'm here only to kindly remind you that your planet is doomed."
He uttered those words so casually that God the Father's eyes widened instantly. Overwhelmed with shock and anger, God the Father abruptly stood up, causing his beard to tremble.
"Do you know what you're saying?!"
His voice echoed like a thunderous roar within the vast, magnificent palace, and the golden-armored warriors around him responded to the king's roar by drawing their energy guns from their waists.
It looks like a battle could break out at any moment.
"Of course I know what I'm saying, and I also know that Darkseid knows better than you what I'm saying, provided he actually heard me."
"This guy is talking nonsense!"
At that moment, one of God’s children stood up. His name was Subid, one of God’s many firstborn sons, and he was deeply loved by God for his bravery and skill in battle.
"Damn it, you despicable Earthling! How dare you speak such nonsense before our great and merciful Heavenly Father?"
"Great Heavenly Father, I beg to fight him fairly. I will defend your glory and show him how foolish he has been!"
For reasons unknown, the Heavenly Father did not respond, and sometimes silence is an answer.
"Earthlings!"
Subinu roared and drew the energy sword from his waist. Seemingly worried that he might not even understand, he pulled out another common sword and threw it at Gino.
The longsword, shimmering with energy beams, seemed to lose its gravity as it crashed to the ground and rolled down to Gino's feet.
However, Gino didn't even glance at the lightsaber at his feet. Instead, he put his hands in his pockets and stared at the Father's child with interest: "No need for all this trouble. Just do it yourself."
