Chapter 302 The Deal with Stark
Chapter 302 The Deal with Stark
Peter Parker never imagined that he would witness this miraculous scene in his eighteen years of life.
He simply reached out and blocked the bullet; this miraculous scene left Peter speechless, his jaw dropping.
"You, me."
Peter's mind went blank; he couldn't comprehend what had just happened.
His concerned gaze swept over Gino, but there wasn't a single bullet hole, nor even a scratch on the man's black jacket.
"So," Peter gulped, then cautiously asked, "you're a magician?"
"Is it one of those beings who uses hand seals to cast mysterious magic?"
Hearing Peter's question, Gino chuckled and shook his head, saying, "No, I'm not."
"So-called magic in your universe requires a price to be paid, but I never pay a price to cast magic."
Gino opened his arms, and the next second, countless dazzling and magnificent planets appeared in Peter's field of vision.
Gino smiled at the boy and said:
"Because I am magic itself!"
"Magic itself!?"
Peter stared in astonishment at the flowing stars around him, and now he completely believed what Gino had said.
"So, what you said last night about me becoming a superhero was true?"
"certainly."
Gino lowered his arms, the flowing celestial bodies dissipated, and he returned to his languid posture, sitting on the iron chair.
"You just need to walk into the Osborn Group, and I'll take care of the rest."
"Osborn Corporation is dedicated to developing medicines that benefit all mankind and has been working tirelessly toward this goal."
As one of America's leading medical technology companies, even rivaling Stark Industries, Osborn Group attracts countless doctors every day.
Peter looked around nervously. After passing through security with his card, he felt like a lab rat, unsure of where to go next.
"Over here." Gino, who suddenly appeared, stood outside the "biological laboratory" not far away, crossed his arms, and waved to Peter.
"The opportunity to change your destiny lies in this room."
Gino pointed inside the house.
The sophisticated instrument, resembling a spinning machine, turned quietly, with many spiders crawling inside.
"Gurgle." Peter stared nervously at the various colored spiders inside. Although he had a good grasp of high school biology, it was only to a good extent. Moreover, high school biology doesn't teach people to distinguish between different kinds of spiders.
"Are you sure everything's okay?"
"You should trust me, hurry up and go inside." Ignoring Peter's complaints, Gino gave him a gentle push, and Peter staggered into the room.
indoor.
The place is filled with all sorts of high-tech, futuristic instruments.
The dim blue light illuminated every strand of spider silk, making them look exquisite.
As the machine rotates, spiders crawl within many of the silk threads, and dozens of spiders fall off due to the tremors.
"Oh, shit!"
Many spiders fell onto Peter's hair and chest, inside his collar.
"Good heavens, if Mr. Gino hadn't let me in, I would never have come in even if you killed me!"
After witnessing Gino's miraculous powers firsthand, Peter has started addressing Gino as "Mr."
Peter, with a pained expression, jumped up and down, trying to get the spiders off him.
But this was accompanied by body swaying.
It seems that the vigorous movement angered one of the spiders.
"hiss!"
Peter clutched his neck in pain, feeling a wave of dizziness wash over him.
He pinched the back of his neck and gently pulled, revealing a crystal-clear spider silk thread.
"What should I do, Mr. Gino?"
Peter felt a sense of panic coursing through his mind.
[Negative emotions from Peter Parker: +100, +100]
"Don't worry, Peter."
Just as Peter was panicking, a gentle voice sounded from behind him.
"Mr. Gino!" Peter turned around in surprise, only to find Gino staring at the tangled spider silk with his arms crossed.
Peter was a little confused: "Uh? I think I was bitten by a spider. Do I need to go to the hospital?"
"Hospital? You don't need to go to the hospital, Peter."
Gino smiled and shook his head. He stared at the tangled threads, and could vaguely make out a creature with eight spider legs weaving a web.
"The Master Weaver," Gino uttered the creature's name.
As a spider totem in the multiverse, this guy is the source of all Spider-Man's power.
"What master?"
Peter tilted his head, puzzled.
"It's nothing, congratulations Peter, you're about to embark on a different kind of life."
Gino looked at Peter intently, then his figure flickered and disappeared from the laboratory, as if he had never been there.
"Mr. Gino is truly a mysterious person."
Peter scratched his head, somewhat puzzled.
Leaving aside Peter Parker, whose fate was about to be changed.
After leaving Peter, Gino, with nothing to do, leisurely stood atop the Osborne Building with his hands in his pockets.
His gaze passed through the tall buildings and landed on another towering building not far away.
Stark Industries.
It exists on par with the Osborne Group.
"The Iron Man of the future, the playboy Tony Stark."
Gino pinched his chin; there were also many points he could harvest from the other party.
"So."
Gino raised his palm, opening a spatial passage and stepping into it: "Let's go see what Tony is doing."
Stark Industries Building.
At the very top of the pool, dozens of young models giggled and surrounded a cocky middle-aged white man.
The man, wearing sunglasses, closed his eyes and enjoyed the female model feeding him grapes.
"What a luxurious life, Mr. Stark."
A soft laugh rang in his ears. Stark looked up and saw a blond boy holding a red apple and taking a small bite.
"Wait, how did you get here?"
Tony looked surprised and puzzled. He turned to look at the security guard outside the door, only to find that the man was staring straight ahead into the distance.
Meanwhile, the female models around Tony continued feeding him grapes, seemingly oblivious to Ginobili's presence.
"Gurgle."
Tony's throat bobbed, a tremendous fear swirling within him.
A series of thoughts flashed through his mind: Who was the other party? A magician? Or perhaps a grim reaper sent to claim his life?
"Oh, don't overthink it, poor Tony." Gino chuckled and pulled a card from his pocket. "My name is Gino Luther. In a way, you can also call me God, after all, I'm omnipotent."
Tony stared in disbelief at the other party's arrogant words, but looking at the reactions of those around him, he couldn't help but believe it all.
He glanced down at the gold card in his hand; it only had the other person's name written on it.
Like a seductive demon, Gino rested his chin on his hand and said:
"If you ever encounter danger, you can tear it apart. I can help you, but in exchange, you will serve me for the rest of your life."
