Chapter 300 Transfer Student Gino
Chapter 300 Transfer Student Gino
new York.
Midtown High School.
The morning sunlight streamed through the windows and onto the classroom desks, as if painting a layer of gold dust on the faces of these young and beautiful college students.
Campus life is always wonderful, and high school students are always restless.
"So, can anyone tell me how to explain this problem?"
Standing on the podium was an elderly woman with white hair, wearing a floral dress. She spoke in a drawn-out tone, her gaze sweeping over the students below.
The old lady never had high expectations for the students at Midtown High School.
Just like students in other countries, only a very small number of students excel academically. The majority of students will drift through high school and enter society, with some becoming gang members and others wasting their youth in places like factories.
"Ugh."
She sighed, her gaze falling on a blonde girl and a shy-looking boy in the second row of the classroom.
Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy, known as the twin stars of Midtown High School in New York, are both academically outstanding and the kind of students teachers favor.
"Gwen."
After thinking for a moment, the old lady still decided to let the police chief's daughter answer the question. It wasn't because she favored one over the other, but because she felt that Gwen deserved the opportunity more.
"Teacher, I think this question should be answered from..."
Gwen, with her beautiful long blonde hair, stood up and gave a perfect answer to the question.
"very good."
The old lady gestured for Gwen to sit down with an appreciative look in her eyes. At the same time, the school bell rang.
"Okay, what's the next class again?"
Peter scratched his head, glanced at his class schedule, and his expression turned slightly pale.
The next class was PE, which was also his least favorite subject. As a bookworm in the eyes of his classmates, Peter's athletic talent was not good, but rather very poor.
Reluctantly throwing his books into the locker, Peter joined his classmates for physical education class at the indoor stadium.
Peter walked into the crowd. There were forty or fifty students in the class, but the irresponsible physical education teacher still let them do whatever they wanted as usual.
Peter looked around and spotted an unfamiliar face in the crowd.
Her long, golden hair was dazzling, and her appearance was as perfect as if she were created by God.
In less than a minute, Peter noticed that many girls were secretly eyeing the unfamiliar boy.
The boy seemed to be used to such attention. He sat on the steps with his hands supporting his chin, looking rather bored.
"Hey."
For some reason, Peter inexplicably walked towards the boy. The shy boy rubbed his chin and sat down next to the blond boy. "I've never seen you before. Are you a transfer student?"
Upon hearing Peter's question, the blond boy turned around, winked at the boy, and said, "Hello, I'm Gino Luther."
He held out his hand, winked at Peter, and said, "From Smallville High School, Kansas, I transferred to Midtown High School today."
"Is that so?" Peter tilted his head and reached out to grasp the hand offered by the other person.
He had never heard of Smallville before, but America was so big, who cared?
He could sense that this classmate named Gino seemed like a good person.
The two were talking when a basketball suddenly hurtled towards them!
"Whoosh!"
Peter couldn't even react before he saw the basketball hurtling towards his face.
But even faster than the basketball was the slender fingers of an arm that gently caught it.
"I can tell someone's unhappy that I'm talking to you." Gino smiled and spun a basketball with his index finger, his gaze falling on the basketball players playing below the steps.
"Hey you two over there, especially you, Parker, throw the ball over here!"
"That man's name is Lightning Thomson."
Looking at the blond, short-haired young man standing not far away with his hands on his hips under the basketball hoop, Peter's already pale face turned even paler.
Even the oversized thermal underwear on the other person looked a bit small, which shows that the person was very tall and strong.
As a bookworm on campus, Peter had obviously received his fair share of special treatment from the other party.
"Lightning Thomson".
Gino's expression was strange.
He knew this guy; in some comic books, the guy was the host of Anti-Venom and a huge fan of Spider-Man.
However, Gino felt that the other party had a special, inexplicable feeling towards Peter.
He wouldn't allow anyone to bully Peter, and whenever Peter was sad or disappointed, the other person would always be there for him.
If you replaced Lightning Thomson with a woman, it would definitely be a story of a haughty rich girl falling in love with a poor boy.
"So is it possible," Gino glanced at Peter and said, "that he's angry because he saw you talking to me?"
"W-what do you mean?"
Upon hearing Gino's words, Peter's already pale face turned even paler.
Does Thomson like me?
Good heavens, this is the most terrifying thing I've ever heard!
"Maybe you're just overthinking it?" Peter hesitated, but deep down he was thinking about keeping his distance from Thomson.
He also had a crush on Gwen, his classmate, who was his ideal woman.
Between the burly Thomson and the beautiful and kind Gwen, he would only choose the latter.
[Negative emotions from Peter Parker: +100, +100]
It was clear that Peter felt disgusted from the bottom of his heart at the thought that Lightning Thomson might like him.
"You want the ball, right?" Gino grabbed the basketball, stopped teasing poor Parker, and gently tossed it over.
The basketball, which should have fallen easily, instead streaked through the air like a cannonball, hurtling towards Thompson's abdomen.
"Shit!"
Faced with the terrifying basketball, Thompson dared not take it head-on, and bent his body slightly to avoid the ball's impact.
The terrible basketball swept past, and then his head slammed into the backboard.
"Splash!"
The sturdy backboard seemed to be made of paper, and shattered glass shards scattered like rain throughout the basketball court.
"Oh My God."
"My God!"
Many students who were watching the conflict looked on in disbelief, and some even blew their chewing gum out of their mouths without realizing it.
What did they see? The new transfer student actually broke the backboard with just one basketball.
"What's wrong? Is my basketball too fast?"
Gino smiled at Thomson.
"Gurgle."
Looking at the smiling boy Thomson, he couldn't smile at all. He felt as if he had seen a demon, a terrible demon.
