Chapter 297 Each Person's Battle

Gotham.

Above this sinful city, Gino stood expressionless atop the colossal golden giant.

From a distance, the tall, golden giant, whose proportions are close to those of a human, can be vaguely seen to resemble Gino.

The tail fins behind it are a pair of golden and dazzling wings, like a legendary angel standing high in the clouds, dispelling darkness and bringing down light.

"Now we're the same height!"

Gino stood atop the giant's head with his arms crossed, beckoning Barbatos with one hand, signaling him to come at him.

The golden giant also mimicked Gino's movements by swinging his right hand.

"Gino Luther!"

Barbatos stared intently at Gino. At that moment, the dragons raised the black lightning in their hands, which roared and circled around Barbatos, covering him with a layer of lightning armor.

The dragon pointed to Lionel, who was bound to a cross and looked utterly disheveled, and said, "This old man is your father!"

"Gino, if you submit to me now, I can guarantee you half the world will be yours. You deserve it!"

"Furthermore," Barbatos said, staring intently at you, "I can also pardon the rebels!"

It's clear that Ginobili is putting immense pressure on him.

This giant dragon has even begun negotiations to try to coexist.

But as I said before, not being ruthless to the enemy means that ruthlessness is not absolute.

The moment Barbatos plunged himself into the dark dream, Gino had already sentenced the guy to death in his heart.

"No, Barbatos." Gino shook his head, glancing at Lionel, who was sniffling and crying, and said, "First of all, I have no feelings for him, and secondly, I have no interest in the dark world you created."

"Now!"

Gino raised his hand, drew a ray of light from the clouds that had broken through the sky, and grasped it. This ray of light quickly transformed into a golden, deadly sword.

The young man lightly raised his sword hilt, the blade pointing directly at Barbatos, and said, "Between you and me, only one can survive!"

As soon as the words were spoken, seemingly in perfect unison, both charged toward their opponent simultaneously.

"I am the dragon!" Barbatos swung his legs, each step causing the earth to tremble. He raised his claws and unleashed dark lightning and dark matter beams.

"Then I will be the dragon slayer!"

Gino controlled the giant and cleaved through the lightning with a single sword strike. The power from the Dream God surged from his eyes, growing larger and larger in the air until it spread and expanded!

"Whoosh!"

Multicolored light roared through the dark energy like a torrential downpour and a tsunami, and the power extended by the two violent energies instantly illuminated the entire sky.

The people who were fighting all looked up at the same time.

They saw that the dark cloud hanging over them had long since dissipated, and the sky over Gotham City had brightened!

"It's dawn."

Inside the bat cave, the Laughing Bat glanced at the battle outside before turning his gaze away.

He has his own things to do.

"Hmm."

Humming a Gotham folk song, he laughed wildly as he walked into the dark Batcave.

His little helpers, a pack of Robin Hounds, were already busy around some sophisticated instruments, while in the very center of the vast Batcave stood an iron chair with an old man with slicked-back hair strapped to it. This man was none other than the infamous Monitor of this universe, and the head behind him, radiating multicolored light, was placed in a glass container—that was the head of the Anti-Monitor.

"Barbatos's plan was incredibly stupid. He actually thought of going head-to-head with Gino. Luckily, I always have a backup plan." He grinned wildly.

His plan was simple: the positive energy of the universe (the Watcher), the negative energy (the Anti-Watcher's head), and Barbatos' dark energy would collide and blow the entire universe to smithereens.

"This is the real plan to destroy the world!" He laughed wildly, lowering his head to reveal his ugly yellow teeth.

"You call this place a bat cave?"

I heard the sound of something hitting the ground behind me.

Batman, who had been following him and laughing maniacally, also appeared here.

His task was to stop the maniacal laughter.

"Batman, I knew you'd come." The Batman Who Laughs turned around, scratching his chin. "But your armor won't work here, Bruce, it'll be blocked by the energy here!"

Just as the maniacal laugh had said, Bruce looked down and found that the bright silver armor had turned pitch black.

"Children, kill him!"

With a maniacal roar and laughter, the Robin Hounds charged at Bruce with savage grins, determined to tear him to pieces.

They crawled on their hands and feet, like twisted hounds, making gurgling noises.

"Whoosh!"

When faced with the attacking hounds, Batman simply ran past them and threw a smoke bomb containing a strange gas from his pocket.

The smoke bombs exploded and flowed into the mouths of the Robin Hounds, causing them to collapse to the ground unconscious as if they had been drugged.

"Bang!"

The Batman Who Laughs and Batman are locked in combat, their fists colliding and striking each other's cheeks, causing bright red blood to spill from the corners of their mouths.

"Bang!"

But to Batman's surprise, the Laughing Man's fighting style was very similar to the Joker's, unpredictable and elusive.

This caused him a lot of trouble when the two fought again.

He laughed maniacally and said, "You've never truly used your training techniques and methods in battle!"

"You're just a nightmare!" Batman kicked away the laughing monster, but the monster just smiled, pointed at itself, and said, "I am you!"

They clashed again.

He punched Batman in the face: "What would you be like without those rules?"

"It's just a second me!"

"I am not you!" Batman waved his fist and laughed maniacally.

"But you should know that Batman always wins!"

Seeing Bruce approaching, he laughed wildly, pulled out a pistol from his pocket, and sinisterly pulled the trigger.

Bruce, who had an instinctive reaction to the gunshot, dodged to the side, but the bullet still pierced his abdomen, causing him to clutch his abs in pain and fall to the ground.

"Look, this is the gun that killed my parents. I carry it with me everywhere I go, to constantly remind myself: they died because they adhered to moral principles. That's the lesson from that alley."

"And now I'm going to give you your final lesson." Laughing maniacally, he raised his gun and said, "We must learn a lesson: don't put your fate in someone else's hands. Batman should be the perfect survivor, the ultimate predator—that's his final form!"

He raised the revolver in his hand and aimed it at Batman's head.

But then he heard Batman urgently say, "Pull that damn trigger!"

He laughed wildly, tilting his head: "Looks like you've given up, that's not so bad."
