Chapter 233 No Choice

This is a small room.

Soft incandescent lights hung from the roof.

But the three grotesque faces revealed by the incandescent light, with sharp, hard horns on their foreheads, proved their identities.

A demon from hell.

Their expressions were greedy, and with each breath they exhaled, hellish slag flew everywhere.

A long row of chips was stacked on the table.

The three tall demons sat sprawled on the chair, their posture casual, staring at the man sitting at the bottom of the table with mocking smiles on their faces.

A bearded man, wearing a black trench coat, stared at the empty table in front of him, his face full of weariness.

They had no chips left and looked like they were about to lose.

"Heh heh, Constantine." A demon grinned, revealing a mouthful of yellow teeth, and stared at Constantine mockingly. "Looks like someone's about to lose."

"I don't think so." Constantine smiled, his gaze falling on the door that had been opened at some point.

A blond youth leaned against the gate, his head bowed as he stared at Constantine and the three-headed demon.

His gaze was somber as he stared at the three-headed demon.

"How did this guy get in?"

The leading demon tilted his head and slammed his fist hard against the round table.

The other demon licked its lips, glared at Gino, and roared, "Mortal, get out, or I'll rip your head off and use it as a chamber pot!"

"Really?" Gino tilted his head.

But the cunning Constantine had somehow dragged the chair to the corner.

"Buzz!"

Before he finished speaking, the boy's figure flickered, like a blur, and suddenly stood in front of the demon who had been shouting earlier.

"Snapped!"

A large, steel-like hand gripped the demon's head.

"Snap!"

A tremendous force emanated from his wrist, causing the demon's head to rotate.

Like a seasoned breakfast shop chef, his long, devilish neck twisted like a pretzel.

"Snap!"

It seemed that a certain critical point had been reached, and the head separated from the neck.

"Using my head as a chamber pot?"

Gino played with the demon's head, watching the demon's face contort.

"You don't have that ability either~"

He pressed down on the head and slammed it hard onto the round table.

The wooden round table shattered upon contact with his head.

The Demon's Head scattered like quicksand in the wind.

"Bang!"

The two demons stood up first, but Gino's fist was much faster than them.

"Whoosh!"

The Tiger Dragon's Roar fist pierced the demon's chest like a sharp sword, igniting their bodies in raging flames.

The two demons didn't even have time to utter a scream before they were devoured by the hellfire that ignited within their bodies, losing their earthly forms.

"Clap!" He clapped his hands to disperse the gunpowder dust from his palms.

Gino pushed open the window glass, letting the cool night breeze into the room.

"Get out here, Constantine."

Gino casually moved a chair over and leaned against it, staring at Constantine in the corner with a mocking look in his eyes.

The sly fellow was currently huddled under a chair. Upon hearing Gino's words, Constantine, still sporting a greasy smile, crawled out from under the table.

Hey, Gino.

Constantine chuckled and scratched his head: "We meet again."

Constantine.

Gino didn't hold back when dealing with scum like Zha Kang.

You owe me a favor, and now it's time to repay it.

"A favor?" Constantine rubbed his greasy hair and slumped into a chair. "I remember I already repaid your favor during the last conflict between Heaven and Hell."

"That's a different matter." Gino smiled and pointed to the three charred remains on the ground. "I've taken care of this trouble for you."

"And stop talking nonsense." Gino looked at Constantine, pointing angrily to the noisy sirens outside the window: "A medieval witch has made a sacrifice to some unknown entity, and now human society is in chaos."

"Many people mistake those around them for demons."

"You should understand." Gino stood up, placed his hand on Constantine's shoulder, and stared at Constantine with his sapphire-blue eyes. His voice was low and deep: "If we let this situation run rampant, you won't fare any better."

"That's what I've said." Constantine sighed, took out a cigarette from his pocket, lit it, took a deep breath, and squinted slightly. "I hate trouble."

"But," Constantine looked at Gino's right hand resting on his shoulder and gave a wry smile, "do I have a choice?"

"Rights?" Gino smiled, a gentle smile. "No."

"If you refuse, I'll rip off your trench coat and hang you on a streetlamp for everyone in the metropolis to admire."

Looking at the smiling boy, Constantine inexplicably felt that this person was far more terrifying than any demon he had ever seen.

"What do we do next?" Constantine asked, looking at Gino.

"What do we do?" Gino asked, gazing at the night outside the window. "Next, we need to find someone."

"I see, your lover, right?" Constantine grinned wickedly, about to nudge Gino with his elbow, but was stopped by the boy's indifferent expression.

Gino looked away: "Shut up and come with me."

metropolis.

Located in the center of the city square theater.

The huge performance hall was packed with people and filled with noise.

Everyone was cheering for today's great magic show.

Incredible skill!

They stared at the woman wielding a short stick on the stage.

With brown hair and blue eyes, Zatanna, wearing a sharp suit jacket, took off her hood and smiled as she greeted the surrounding crowd: "Thank you, thank you all!"

The woman's smile was warm and radiant.

"That concludes today's magic show."

As the woman bowed in gratitude, the red curtain above the hall slowly fell, signaling the end of the magic show.

"Smack."

As the curtain fell on the stage.

The lights are flashing.

Zatanna sat down in the dressing room below the stage as if in a daze.

The woman picked up a brush and gently brushed her cheeks to remove her light makeup. Looking at her pretty face in the mirror, she sighed softly and looked at her phone on the table.

The phone displayed a contact interface named "Gino Luther".

The last time the two chatted was several months ago.

"Gino Luther".

Zatanna gritted her teeth and punched a blond doll on the table.

"I think I heard someone calling me?" a gentle voice rang out.

Zatanna tensed up, and slowly turned around to see the boy looking at her with a smile.

With his familiar long blonde hair, white shirt, and black sweatpants, Gino smiled lazily and said to Zatanna, "Long time no see, Zatanna."

"Gino, Gino?" Zatanna gasped in surprise, not understanding why the other person had suddenly appeared here.

But soon, this doubt was filled with resentment.

"You bastard, what do you want from me?"

Zatanna turned her back to Gino in a huff.

It should be noted that the other side recently formed the Justice League, stirring up trouble around the world.

I've done so many things, but I haven't told myself about any of them.
