Chapter 210 The Adventures of Lex

Superman has gone mad.

This statement sounds like Batman has gone mad, making it incredibly terrifying.

A deranged Superman, physically speaking, can cause far more destruction than a deranged Batman.

However, for Gino, the boy didn't particularly care about Lex's description.

"Tell me in detail." Gino crossed his arms, feeling the night breeze blowing through the trees and carrying the moist air of the forest.

He was curious about how Clark had gone mad in this outsider world.

Just from what I know, there are stories of Superman who was born evil, and many other Supermen who turned to the dark side.

Gino needs to know which world Lex went to.

The bald man clutched his chest and slowly stood up. He leaned against a tree trunk, sighed deeply, and said, "The story should begin a year ago."

As Lex's eyes flickered, memories flooded back:

metropolis.

Inside a not-so-spacious but cozy apartment.

A shirtless, muscular man lay on the spacious bed with his hands behind his back.

He couldn't sleep; even when he was lying down, he could hear noises from thousands of miles away.

The criminals' angry shouts and the roar of guns were like an invisible alarm clock, urging him to stop the crime and protect the innocent.

"call."

He took a deep breath and focused his attention on the woman beside him.

Her girlfriend, a woman with beautiful long hair, was sleeping soundly beside her.

He could hear the woman's steady breathing, and also, the sounds coming from her abdomen.

"Difficult? Could it be?"

Clark swallowed hard; he had heard that sound from pregnant women before.

"Louise, Louise."

Clark called out softly to his girlfriend.

"Hmm, what's wrong?" Louise slowly opened her eyes, rubbing them, only to see her boyfriend's eager smile: "You're pregnant!"

....

"When Clark found out his girlfriend was pregnant, he was overjoyed," Lex sighed, his tone complex.

"Louise, and Martha, are the most important people to him."

"If everything goes smoothly, perhaps our universe won't become a hell."

Lex shook his head and chuckled self-deprecatingly.

He continued, "Superman was overjoyed after Lois became pregnant. The child represents the continuation of the Kryptonian bloodline and is also a symbol of his and Lois's love."

...

Louise smiled helplessly, as if looking at a child, and released Clark before going into the bathroom.

Clark rubbed his cheeks to calm himself down, and then he heard a noise coming from afar.

"Clark, can you get me a towel?" Louise walked out of the bathroom, but Clark was no longer on the bed.

The wind whistled past my ears, crashing into the warehouse like a cannonball.

"Bang!"

Batman slammed his fist into the face of the knife-wielding robber, knocking him down, followed by a clean and crisp roundhouse kick. Batman fought with increasing ferocity, entangled in a fierce battle with the kidnappers in the small warehouse.

"Whoosh!"

With a flick of the wrist, he threw a dart; the whistling bat dart struck the last man in the back, stunning him.

"Splash!"

Hearing the commotion behind him, Batman ignored it, crouched down to examine the unconscious kidnapper's body, and tried to find clues.

"What brings you here?" Superman asked, looking at Batman who was squatting on the ground with some curiosity.

He knew this superhero well; the man lived in Gotham City most of the time and wouldn't easily venture into other cities.

"The Joker has come to the Metropolis."

Batman, holding a black device, scanned the unconscious kidnapper: "I need to know why he came here."

"The Joker." Upon hearing this name, Clark frowned, clearly indicating that Superman disliked the name intensely.

"Forget about that madman," Clark grinned, his hands trembling uncontrollably. "You know what? I have some good news for you."

Louise is pregnant.

"I can tell you're excited." Batman pulled a USB drive from the kidnapper and inserted it into his laptop.

As the screen flickers and loads, a confidential document appears on the screen.

"I have to go." Batman stood up and looked at Superman: "I'll leave your city after I catch the Joker."

...

metropolis.

East Wharf.

Inside a hidden shipping container, a man and a woman watch as a group of criminals below exchange money.

"I got the picture."

A man named Jimmy was holding a camera, about to press the shutter...

"Bang!"

A gunshot shattered the silence.

The bullet shattered the camera lens and pierced the man's eyeball like an iron chisel, breaking through his bones.

"Splat!"

A large amount of blood gushed out from the wound on the back of his head.

"what!"

Seeing her dead companion, Louise let out a scream, but before she could recover, the sound of whistling wind came from behind her.

"Bang!"

A wooden hammer struck the woman on the back of the head.

The petite woman rolled her eyes and fainted, hitting the iron plate with a dull thud.

"Slap slap~"

Footsteps sounded from the shadows, and a man in a purple suit with his face painted pale approached Louise with a strange laugh.

"Harley, we found the treasure!"

The clown grinned wickedly, rubbing his hands together and sticking out his scarlet tongue: "We're about to put on the best show ever!"

....

Dizziness, lightheadedness.

How should I describe it?

It's like drinking several bottles of vodka and then forcing yourself to go to work despite feeling sleepy.

Lex covered his forehead, looking around at the scene with a bewildered expression.

This is a high-rise building room, equipped with all sorts of high-tech devices.

"Buzz~"

The previously tightly closed technological valve slowly opened.

A figure, almost reaching the eaves, slowly walked out of the house.

As the figure stepped out of the darkness and into the light.

The blue bodysuit paired with a scarlet cape exuded a powerful aura that seemed to lower the surrounding air.

"Lex".

As the light shifted, it moved down his thigh to his cheek, revealing a resolute face to Lex.

"Clark?" Lex couldn't believe his eyes.

However, his clever mind still allowed him to come up with many ideas in just one second.

The Clark in front of him was clearly much more mature, and he recalled the explosion that occurred during his own experiment, as well as the eerie blue light.

Perhaps, I no longer exist in the world I originally was.

Rubbing his bald head, Lex feigned a hangover and asked, "What's up?"

I must say, he disguised himself very well.

Clark, whose eyes were clearly showing signs of aging, was filled with unconcealed weariness. He sighed and sat down beside Lex, speaking as if asking a question, or perhaps asking himself:

"It's funny, isn't it? We used to be enemies, but time is like a surgeon, sculpting us into the most unfamiliar versions of ourselves."

He sighed, staring at the city outside the window, and murmured, "Was everything I did really right?"
