Chapter 200 Martha's Plea

Night fell, and a waning moon hung high in the sky.

A cold wind swept across the land, and owls cried mournfully.

After the police raid, the old butler Jack had already dismissed all the maids.

However, upon seeing her fellow Kryptonians, Fiona's expression turned rather grim. She coldly stated, "While we are fighting for the destruction of Krypton, Jor-El and his brothers are sending their descendants to Earth?"

The woman sighed deeply, her face filled with bitterness: "Now I understand why Krypton perished."

When everyone on a planet lives only for themselves, then its destruction is only a matter of time.

"What a fierce sister." Kara met Fiona's cold gaze, but timidly hugged Gino's shoulders.

A cold, robotic female voice announced: "We have received the latest information from the internet. The military has released information that Clark Kent is an alien target."

"Congratulations, Commander Gino! The good news is that you've escaped the situation where everyone is against you."

Gino sighed, rubbing his temples in distress. "The bad news is that my friend has been arrested, right?"

Let's rewind half an hour to the same time Gino beat up Fiona.

After enduring constant communication and harassment from the US military, Zod, fed up with the constant barrage of messages, finally decided to send a team of soldiers to Earth to see what was happening.

Realizing the seriousness of the problem, the two immediately reported the situation to General Zod.

As Jor-El's former close friend, Zod immediately recognized the young boy as Jor-El's son, who was his target for this trip.

As for the name Gino Luther? Perhaps it's just a smokescreen for Jor-El to protect his children.

So, the bewildered Clark was escorted into the Kryptonian spaceship by two Kryptonian warriors.

"Buzz!"

The azure engine propelled the tens-of-tons spacecraft into the air, breaking free from gravity and piercing through the clouds.

As the spaceship pierced the atmosphere and moved away from Earth, Clark turned his head and gazed longingly at his blue planet through the transparent protective glass.

"And Gino, Lana, Chloe, Pete," Clark wiped away his tears. "I will remember you all."

The sound of knocking on the iron gate echoed through the manor.

Led by the old butler, Gino hurried toward the entrance.

"Mr. Kent, and Mrs. Kent?" Gino looked at the middle-aged couple standing outside his estate with some surprise.

"Gino! Clark has been captured, hasn't he?" Martha, the kind woman, had tears streaming down her face, and her trembling hands betrayed her anxiety and panic.

"I...we heard from the neighbors that the media has revealed Clark's identity!" Jonathan choked back tears as he helped his wife, who was on the verge of fainting from crying.

After already experiencing a miscarriage, the loss of their adopted son, Clark, was undoubtedly a heavy blow to the Jonathans.

"Please, Gino!"

With her knees bent and knees pressed heavily to the ground, Martha cried, "Please help us, bring Clark back."
