Chapter 177 Gluttonous Girl

Luther Castle.

The large, medieval-style furniture and decorations accentuated the house's prestige.

From the dining table, the blonde girl held a fried chicken leg and ate heartily.

With a gentle bite of my pearly teeth, I felt the crispy crust coated with breadcrumbs.

"Crunch, crunch."

A few drops of clear oil smudged at the corners of her mouth, her little tongue gently curling the oil.

While she was eating the fragrant, high-calorie bomb, some crumbs fell onto her full, large breasts.

"Mmm, mmm." Kara took a big bite of the chicken leg, her pretty face full of a dazed expression, her head swaying gently as her blonde hair fluttered. It was clear that she really liked this high-calorie food.

However, given the Kryptonians' metabolic rate, they wouldn't gain weight even if they ate a hundred of them.

Meanwhile, in a corner of the hall, the maids of Luther Castle were whispering among themselves about the girl the young master had brought home three minutes earlier.

"This girl's figure is absolutely perfect." A maid pursed her lips, her eyes burning as she stared at Carla's obviously supermodel bust. "What's even more infuriating is that she's incredibly beautiful, like an angel from a fairy tale."

They chatted in small groups about the girl Gino had brought home for the first time in his life.

Most of the maids believed that the girl was Gino's girlfriend.

Then, a figure walked down the stairs.

The maids wisely remained silent.

Gino changed into a set of casual home clothes.

Lionel recently returned to Metropolis, and Lex has been staying in the lab. The entire castle is occupied only by himself and his maid, so bringing Kara back wouldn't be inconvenient.

"Smack."

He pulled out a chair and sat down, resting his chin on his hand, staring expressionlessly at Carla across the table.

He had many questions to ask the girl.

Feeling the boy's gaze, Kara cautiously raised her head, pursed her lips, and reluctantly offered him the chicken leg: "Want some?"

Looking at the chicken leg with a bite mark on it, Gino pursed his lips, sighed, and facepalmed. "You eat it. Finish it quickly. I'll ask you a few questions, and then you can continue eating."

Upon hearing Gino's statement, the girl quickly put away the chicken leg and then ate the rest of the chicken in large bites.

He hastily wiped the grease from his mouth, his big eyes staring straight at Gino, as if to say, "What are you going to ask?"

How did you come to Earth?

"Earth? So your planet is called Earth." Kara swung her legs. "The spaceship must have found the coordinates, but I'm not sure exactly."

The girl rubbed her cheeks and said in a low voice, "I've been asleep ever since I left Krypton."

"Oh, right, I came here to protect my cousin, Karl El."

She seemed to have thought about her mission; her small face turned serious.

As she spoke, Carla lightly leaped onto the carpet and took light steps toward Gino, sniffing Gino's short-sleeved shirt like a kitten.

"Yes, you're my cousin!" Kara seemed to sense something, or perhaps it was the Kryptonian ability to sense each other; she reached out and patted Gino's head like a big sister: "Little cousin, from today onwards, I'll protect you!"

Upon hearing Kara's words, Gino's face darkened.

He reached out and removed the girl's small hand from her head.

Gino was somewhat helpless. Protect him? With the girl's current intelligence of 6 or 7 years old, if she really took a punch, she would probably squat on the ground and cry.

"First, I am not Karl El."

"Secondly, I don't need you to protect me."

The boy stood up helplessly and pressed the girl's head down: "Go change your clothes first, Karl can take his time looking."

His body was covered in oil stains; it was awkward to even look at, let alone wear.

"Oh." Kara lowered her head, somewhat disappointed that she hadn't been able to find her only relative in the world.

But her childlike nature made her quickly forget all that, and she asked curiously, "What's a bath?"

"Annie," Gino snapped his fingers, "go take her for a bath."

Soon a maid led Kara to the bathroom.

Gino sat back down on the sofa and took a sip of the milk the maid brought him, his eyes filled with contemplation.

As one of only two Kryptonians, Kara is quite powerful and could perhaps be a valuable asset to him.

Of course, the premise is gaining the girl's trust; perhaps exchanging sincerity for sincerity is an option?

As he was pondering this, the old butler, Jack, with one hand behind his back and an air of elegance, said, "Young master, there are two ladies outside the manor looking for you."

As he spoke, old Jack's slightly aged face was full of relief. If one had to describe it, it would be the look in his eyes that seemed to be that of a child he had watched grow up was finally planning to settle down and start a family.

Gino rubbed his forehead. He was too lazy to explain anymore. Misunderstandings, once they take root, can grow into towering trees in an instant.

"I remember you once told me that anyone who is your friend can enter the manor."

"However, considering the young lady you brought back to the castle..."

Well, I didn't realize Old Jack was so considerate, even proactively helping Gino avoid a "battle royale" situation.

But the problem is, Kara isn't his girlfriend!

"Let them in."

Gino sighed deeply and promised he would never bring another girl home again.

The old butler left upon hearing the sound.

Soon, Lana, wearing slim-fit jeans and a white short-sleeved shirt, walked into the hall side by side with Chloe.

Wow.

Chloe gazed at the famous paintings around her, and no matter how many times she came here, she was always amazed.

"Gino!" Lana looked at the boy sitting on the sofa, crossing her arms excitedly. "We almost thought you and Clark had disappeared!"

Chloe nodded in agreement, adding, "That's right, where did you guys go? You know, Clark's credits have all been deducted by his instructors."

"This matter is complicated." Gino rubbed his forehead.

How should I explain this to Lana and Chloe?

The difficulty for the two women to understand concepts like "there is another universe beyond our own," "parallel universes," and "multiverse" is no less than the difficulty for Clark to become Homelander.

"Simply put, he was trapped in one place, but eventually escaped." Gino chose to fabricate a lie, even though lying was shameful, it was effective.

After hearing Gino's words, the two women looked at each other in bewilderment.

"Then, where did Clark go?" Lana turned her gaze to Gino.

She knew about Gino and Clark's relationship; although the two had fought before, they eventually made up.

"Clark," Gino murmured for a moment, then said after a moment of thought, "I don't know either. He ran out of town."

Gino didn't intend to tell Lana and the other woman about Masa's miscarriage; it was a family matter.

"Then, do you know where to find him?" Lana clenched her fists, and from her reddened eyes, it was clear that the girl was very worried about Clark.

"Where can I find him?" Gino recalled the messages on his phone earlier.

I remember Clark's response at the time was, "I want to be alone."
