A Certain Magical Hogwarts
Chapter 907 4 Golden Coffins
Chapter 907 Four Golden Coffins
Voldemort escaped.
Although in front of everyone, he left behind a declaration of war that exuded sophistication...
But it cannot be denied that the Dark Lord did escape, without even having time to rescue his own subordinates.
Can you not run?
In a one-on-one situation, he was confident he could have the upper hand against either Dumbledore or Stark.
But facing two people working together... things could easily turn sour.
It seems we need to urge Grindelwald to send his protégé to England as soon as possible to give the Starks a surprise.
Of course, nobody cared about Voldemort's escape; most wizards were screaming and hugging each other.
The reason they behaved this way is quite simple:
Voldemort appeared.
This is the first time in fourteen years that he has truly appeared in front of the public since being officially declared "dead" and then "resurrected".
Almost all the wizards present had experienced that terrible ten-year war.
When they saw the Dark Lord again, the fear... the fear etched into the wizard's DNA, finally erupted.
"The person whose name cannot be mentioned"... This nickname is definitely not just something said casually.
William ignored the people and sat alone by the broken fountain.
He was a little tired, so he filled a handful of water and washed his face.
Dumbledore hurried over and asked with concern, "William, are you alright?"
"If you had come any later, I might have gotten hurt," William said with a smile.
"How's the trial going at the Merlin Memorial Hall?"
"It's not going smoothly; Umbridge has been causing trouble the whole time," Dumbledore said. "Buying time for the plans here."
William nodded, not at all surprised.
Umbridge's sudden decision to try Fudge and have him admit his guilt was a deliberate attempt to attract attention.
She definitely didn't want to be tried; she probably still wanted Voldemort to control the Ministry of Magic and continue being his minister.
At that moment, Amelia Borns, the head of the Enforcement Division, walked over.
She looked at William curiously, then at Dumbledore, and asked in a questioning tone:
"There will be a press conference in half an hour. Would you two like to attend?"
This press conference will provide a report on the Ministry of Magic incident and announce the outbreak of the Wizarding War.
As someone who experienced this event firsthand, William should indeed attend the press conference.
However, he shook his head and said, "Forget it, I just want to go back to Hogwarts and get some sleep."
Fighting Voldemort was extremely taxing... especially tonight, with the need to repair the crown and look after Harry and the others.
A press conference is actually unnecessary.
Borns nodded, without pressuring him.
This young wizard before her would be the key to this war, and she had already placed him on an equal footing with Dumbledore.
"I'll join you in a bit, but I need to take William away for a while now," Dumbledore said.
Borns nodded and walked toward the other wizards to begin directing the cleanup work.
"She would make a good minister," Dumbledore whispered.
William nodded slightly.
In his view, a good minister is one who doesn't act cleverly and is obedient.
Fudge was clearly not up to the task, so he went in.
"Professor," William began, "Voldemort won't tolerate Ms. Burns becoming minister so easily."
His unspoken meaning was simple:
An assassination was inevitable.
Dumbledore adjusted his glasses seriously and said, "I will carefully consider the choice of Emilia's protector."
William grunted in agreement, then stood up and dusted off his backside.
He also needed to make preparations in advance so that his parents and Hermione's parents could leave England.
The two walked out of the Ministry of Magic's main hall, took the elevator, and returned to the Department of Mysteries.
Kingsley was leading the Order of the Phoenix members, checking each room to make sure there were no more Death Eaters hiding.
What they were really curious about was what level of battle had taken place down there that could destroy the Hall of Prophecy and the Hall of Time.
The Time Hall was, of course, destroyed by William.
He chose to repair the crown today to frame the Death Eaters... he's not going to take the blame anyway.
At Dumbledore's instruction, the members of the Order of the Phoenix escorted the Death Eaters away.
Only Kingsley, along with a few wizards, stood guard at the door for the two.
Given Dumbledore and William's abilities, they naturally don't need anyone to be on their guard.
But Kingsley believed it was necessary to prevent others from suddenly barging in and interrupting the conversation between the two bigwigs.
Therefore, there's a reason why Kingsley was able to thrive in the Order of the Phoenix, the Auror offices, and even under Fudge's command.
He has thoroughly studied the magic book "Emotional Intelligence," and his actions are meticulous, making people have a very good impression of him.
With no one else around, Dumbledore led the way but did not enter the Hall of Prophecy.
There's nothing to see there.
The prophecy Trelawney made about Harry and Voldemort... Dumbledore knew about it sixteen years ago.
He had already told William this.
This is also why William destroyed the prophecy orb in the hall.
Destroying it in front of Voldemort... he gave up and stopped thinking about it.
Dumbledore brought William to the Department of Mysteries because he had something more important to tell him.
The most important thing than the war at hand is, of course, the problem of death.
Dumbledore was very worried about this matter.
Grindelwald voluntarily left Nurmengard and this world to seek out Death.
Dumbledore was well aware of Grindelwald's abilities; for him to act this way, it must be a "prophecy" of a terrible future.
That future is clearly more difficult to deal with than Voldemort.
Dumbledore had to tell William everything he knew.
Led by the principal, the two arrived at the Hall of Death.
The Hall of Death was dimly lit, square in shape, with a central depression forming a huge stone pit, about twenty feet deep.
Stone steps surround the entire house, like stone benches, descending gradually step by step, each step very steep, just like a lecture hall.
In the center of the pit, there is a raised stone platform with an archway on it, which looks very old and dilapidated.
William squinted at the archway.
There were no walls supporting the archway; a tattered black curtain hung on it.
Although there was not a breath of wind, it was swaying gently, as if it had just been touched.
William sensed a terrifying aura.
Dumbledore had already climbed down the stone bench, reached the bottom of the pit, and then slowly walked towards the stone platform.
William followed, his footsteps echoing through the house.
Looking at the arch up close, it appears much taller than when viewed from above.
The curtains were still swaying gently, which aroused William's suspicion.
Because a sudden, abrupt thought arose in his mind... a thought that urged him to pass through the curtain.
Dumbledore gazed at the curtain in the same way, and after an unknown amount of time, he suddenly opened his eyes and asked:
"William, do you remember those four coffins in the Hogwarts crypt?"
