A Certain Magical Hogwarts

Chapter 871 You little rascal, you came here to steal it? (Happy New Year)

The office was packed with people.

Dumbledore sat calmly behind the table, his long fingers pressed together.

His eyes were closed, as if he were dozing... a picture of tranquility.

Professor McGonagall stood ramrod straight beside him, glaring at the few “idle people” from the Ministry of Magic in front of her, her face full of impatience.

She also worked at the Ministry of Magic back then.

Although it was only a short year, I gained a deep understanding of this bureaucratic model of laymen managing professionals.

In her view, Hogwarts should be independent of the Ministry of Magic.

The Ministry of Magic's sole duty is to make money!

Don't concern yourself with or ask about school matters.

Fortunately, Fudge is about to step down. Hopefully, William or Hermione will be able to help her realize this vision when they become ministers in the future.

Professor McGonagall estimated that she would have become the principal by then.

(Snape: Meow meow meow?)

Minister Fudge, whom McGonagall had labeled as "a nobody," was standing by the fire, swaying excitedly.

Tonight, their true colors will be revealed.

The worst outcome would definitely be a lose-lose situation, with both sides going down together, and he leaving (stepping down) tonight.

The best goal, of course, is to force Dumbledore to concede and continue to promote him as minister.

Even if we have to take a step back, we must use today's events as an excuse to disrupt the second impeachment and allow ourselves to hold out until the Wizarding War breaks out.

In this way, he could use the excuse of the war to remain in office.

Of course, preventative measures must also be taken.

Fudge brought a full ten Aurors, with Kingsley leading the team.

Fudge has tested Kingsley many times; he's definitely one of us.

With him around, he could lead the Aurors and hold off Dumbledore and Stark in crucial moments...maybe...perhaps.

But be careful of Delilah. After observing him repeatedly, Fudge realized that he was most likely a spy for the Order of the Phoenix.

Fudge was afraid of leaks, so he kept Delisi by his side to keep an eye on him and prevent him from tipping off anyone!

Percy, Fudge's assistant, paced excitedly along the wall.

He held a quill pen and a thick roll of parchment in his hand, ready to take notes at any time.

If he seizes this opportunity and performs well, he will be the youngest minister...secretary after Fouché retires and Umbridge takes office.

Being Umbridge's chief secretary naturally carries a high risk of sexual assault... but Percy still understands the importance of enduring hardship!

In this lifetime, I will protect the red glory of the Weasley family!

Percy has already envisioned a future where he becomes the youngest minister, leading to the resurgence of the Weasley family.

On the wall, the portraits of the male and female principals were not pretending to be asleep; they were whispering among themselves.

Many people pointed at Fudge and called him a piece of shit.

Phineas Black even more arrogantly said:

In his time, for a useless minister like Fudge, you'd have to take a wand and use Avada Kedavra to gnaw on a giant melon for five minutes!

Soon, William and Hermione entered, with Umbridge following at the very back.

Upon seeing the three appear, Fudge was overjoyed, a delighted expression spreading across his face.

"Okay, okay, okay..."

Fudge said "good" seven times.

In a history of magic class a century later, the famously stubborn Professor Binns, while lecturing on 20th-century history, specifically included a reading comprehension exercise.

He offered a comprehensive and insightful analysis:

"Fudge's seven 'goods' enhance the rhythm of the language, making it easy to pronounce and also creating a layered emotional effect."

This expresses Fudge's seven complex emotions, which represent his seven deadly sins...

As for why Professor Binns did this analysis?

It's those damned Starks and Granger.

In the 21st century, they carried out educational reforms in the magical world, poisoning... ah, I mean, cultivating generation after generation of terrible flowers.

Whether Fudge was thinking that much or not, no one knows, but he was indeed excited at the moment and wanted to compose a poem on the spot.

"They were leaving that classroom when I caught them," Umbridge boasted.

"Really?" Fudge exclaimed. "That's great, Dolores. You're still as capable as you were a few years ago."

Sending you to Hogwarts was absolutely the right decision!

Fudge looked at William and smiled slyly, "Alright, William... I think you know why you're here, right?"

William looked completely innocent and shook his head, saying, "I don't know."

"Don't know? Ha~" Fudge sneered, "What were you doing before Dolores caught you?"

William squinted, thought carefully for a moment, and said:

"Miss Granger didn't hand in her ancient runes assignment again, and I'm furious. I'm punishing her in the classroom right now."

After the corporal punishment ended, I was about to take her to my office for further confinement when Professor Umbridge arrived.

Hermione nodded quickly, as if she had indeed been punished because of the ancient runes.

William asked, "What's wrong? The minister's visit at night, could it be that the impeachment results are out?"

"Or should I help you get back to being Minister of Magic?"

William's voice wasn't loud, but everyone could hear him clearly.

"You knelt down last time and begged me for help, but I already refused you. Why are you coming to me again?"

How shameless!

Holy crap, this is big news!

Everyone looked at Fudge, including the Aurors.

"You're talking nonsense!" Fudge's face turned red.

He did come to plead for mercy, but when did he ever kneel down?!

"Shameless depravity!" roared a portrait of a fat, red-nosed wizard on the wall behind Dumbledore's desk.

"It's a disgrace that the Minister of Magic has stooped to begging others... He should just step down!"

"Thank you, Fosco, I think so too," William grinned at him.

Over the years, William has become quite familiar with the portraits of the old headmaster of Hogwarts.

He can now take over Dumbledore's position at any time, move in with his bags, and become the youngest headmaster of Hogwarts.

(McGee: Meow meow meow?)

"Stop rambling!" Fudge snapped angrily. "Don't you realize you've violated education regulations and laws?"

"An education order?" William nodded and said, "The recent education order does indeed target students, prohibiting them from walking together."

But I am an ancient magic script professor, and I am not under the jurisdiction of the education order.

What's wrong?

The Ministry of Magic is now regulating who teachers date... cough cough, how is that disciplining students?

"No!" Fudge roared angrily.

"I received a report that you are suspected of forming an organization at the school without reporting it."

Furthermore, your organization is scout-like, which is suspected of being illegal!

Fudge's furious roar suggests that William is forming an organization similar to the Death Eaters, aiming to establish a separate Ministry of Magic to rival him.

William clutched his chest, looking utterly shocked.

"Minister, forming a Boy Scout is a very serious accusation... Do you have any evidence?"

If not, I'll sue you for defamation.

Do you know what the charge is for defaming a magical hero who has received numerous medals?

"Evidence...of course we have it, both witnesses and physical evidence!" Umbridge said gently to Fudge.

"I can bring the whistleblower here right now."

"Yes, go quickly." Fudge nodded.

After Umbridge left the house, Fudge gave Dumbledore a malicious look.

"Nothing beats a good witness, does it, Dumbledore?"

"That's right, Cornelius," Dumbledore said in a deep voice, opening his eyes.

"You had better have evidence, or I will report this to Wisengam."

After waiting for a few minutes, Umbridge re-entered the house, followed by Marietta and Cedric.

Cedric gave William a quick glance, then hurriedly lowered his head.

"Don't panic, darling, don't be afraid," Umbridge said smugly.

"You two did the right thing. The minister is very satisfied with you."

Umbridge looked up at Fudge and added:

"Minister, Marietta's mother is Mrs. Eckmore of the Flying Network Office of the Department of Magical Transportation."

Cedric's father is Old Diggory, the Director of the Control of Magical Creatures.

Cedric is also the Hogwarts student council president, has excellent grades, and has been a great help to me lately.

Umbridge's main focus was on Cedric; she was clearly paving the way.

Percy's heart suddenly skipped a beat, and he looked at Cedric warily.

Well, kid... you're here to steal it?!

Percy started to panic.

Both were presidents of the male student council, and in terms of academic excellence, they were neck and neck.

But Cedric is better looking than him; he's a typical pretty boy.

He was also the captain of Hufflepuff Quidditch, and his physique was exceptionally strong.

Percy experienced this firsthand when he was in school.

They have a significant advantage over him.

Merlin's unspoken rules... Now, to get close to a female boss, do you have to compete on performance, looks, and skills?

I might as well just try my best myself!
