A Certain Magical Hogwarts
Chapter 782 Slytherin's Locket
Chapter 782 Slytherin's Locket
Blake's Old House
Annie sat on the living room sofa, her hands supporting her chin, her head tilted to the side, a gold quill pen tucked behind her ear, seemingly lost in thought about writing something.
Luna lay sprawled to the side, pressing down on a huge portrait, her filthy blond hair spread out like a blooming sunflower.
The girl also held a gold quill pen in her hand, staring with gray eyes, and kept sketching something on the portrait.
The content of that portrait was extremely peculiar:
Two suns in the sky, with no obstruction on the ground except for a parasol placed in the center.
The old woman wearing a black hat was hiding under a parasol, looking sickly and seemingly about to suffer from heatstroke.
Seeing that the blonde girl had drawn a strange monster in the corner of the picture frame, she finally couldn't help but scream.
"You damned bastard, how dare you touch me with your filthy hands! I curse you, I..."
She was spitting as she tried to unleash a torrent of vile language to vent her recent anger.
But Anne frowned her pretty eyebrows and, quicker than before, picked up a quill and drew a Louie in the frame.
When she had free time, Anne studied painting with Hermione's mother, which is why the three-headed dog came to life so vividly.
The result of trying to make it look lifelike is that it looks incredibly ugly.
Louie seemed to come alive, pacing slowly around the frame with a somewhat blank look in his eyes.
But when he saw the old woman, he immediately rushed over, baring his teeth, as if he really wanted to bite her.
It's obvious that they have rabies.
The old woman turned pale with fright and immediately stopped cursing, hiding under the parasol, trembling.
She feigned a pitiful appearance and pleaded:
"I know I was wrong, I'll never swear again! Please help me!"
"Good to know!" Annie waved her fist, annoyed.
"Next time someone enters the living room, you should say 'Welcome,' and when they leave, you should say 'Come again next time.'"
No swearing allowed.
Did you know?!
Anne has been working on this portrait for some time now.
Thinking I had achieved initial success, I confidently hung it in the living room.
Unexpectedly, as soon as she hung it back up, she started cursing again... Annie felt incredibly embarrassed.
That's why Luna came along to add some 'little things' to the portrait as punishment.
Sirius's mother felt a little aggrieved, but there was nothing she could do.
She was just a painting, a painting created by magic.
Others can naturally add other creatures to the picture frame.
Before leaving, Stark's demon brother left behind a magical quill pen and special paints... allowing one to draw without mastering painting magic.
And so, the nightmare began!
If someone curses at you, this little girl will find all sorts of ways to punish them.
Two or three suns are normal occurrences; the most terrifying times are when ten suns appear at once.
Are you talking about Hou Yi shooting down the sun?
The Thomas the Tank Engine was making a dirty noise, keeping her awake in the middle of the night.
Eight-eyed giant spiders, basilisk monsters, fire dragons... and occasionally, a mix of ice and fire.
The portrait is exhausting; you might as well give me some poisoned tea leaves and kill me.
Sirius...you unfilial son, you beast, you dog son, where have you been!
The old lady felt she couldn't live like this anymore!
And then there's Kreacher, that damn house-elf, who's been in the kitchen all the time lately, I don't know what he's up to.
Ignoring the old lady's complaints, Anne turned to Luna and asked curiously:
"What are you drawing?"
"I'm drawing a bubble-nosed monster. It's a magical creature that lives in the M78 Nebula."
Luna is drawing a monster that looks like a slime, or maybe a gummy bear.
What kind of monster is this?!
It seemed to like the old lady very much, wriggling toward her as if it wanted to swallow her whole.
The old lady screamed again.
Anne glanced at it for a while, gave Luna some abstract advice, and then got up and left.
"Hey, don't go! Don't leave me here alone!" the old lady said anxiously.
She'd rather be with Stark than with the quirky blonde girl!
But Annie ignored him and walked up the creaking stairs to the fourth floor.
At the end of the road was a dilapidated storage room filled with all sorts of odds and ends.
They were all thrown away by Mrs. Weasley as trash, and then secretly picked up by Kreacher.
Kreacher was squatting on the ground, wiping medieval cups with a tattered rag.
This elderly house-elf is completely different from the one it was a while ago.
Or rather... he's gained weight, become rounder, and gotten bloated.
She used to be skin and bones, but now she's as plump as a teapot.
It's not that it wanted to get fat, but it's just bad luck... In other words, it's just that it's unlucky!
Before Sirius left, he gave the order that Kreacher must obey Anne's orders.
This very order nearly cost Kreacher his life.
On the first day, this little girl made herself cook a whole table of food.
Kreacher sneered, thinking, "This is my specialty, but I'm afraid I'll dare to make it, but you won't dare to eat it!"
It caught a lot of cockroaches, rats, and earthworms and made them into meat floss cakes.
But to her surprise, when the food was ready, Anne didn't dare to eat it. She just grinned and let Kreacher eat it.
Kreacher had to eat the food he had dug himself, even if it meant swallowing his tears.
The next day, it made up its mind:
"It's the first day of testing the poison, the little girl will definitely eat it this time... This method is too naive."
Kreacher used the same trick again and made some Kreacher Honey Burgers.
The little girl still didn't eat it, so she "rewarded" it with more.
On the third day, Kreacher thought to himself, "Third time's the charm, I'll definitely eat it this time."
Surprisingly, Annie still let it eat it.
On the fourth day, Kreacher did everything he could to cook himself a good meal.
It waited expectantly for Annie not to eat, but to its surprise, the little girl ate it this time!
Kreacher felt like he was going to vomit blood.
The two began a battle of wits over food.
Kreacher: "You bet I didn't poison him?"
Anne: "I bet there aren't any bullets in your food!"
Kreacher is the provider, and Annie is the chooser... Whoever gets the food is the unlucky one!
Leave it to fate!
Kreacher thought that even with his worst luck, he should at least win one game.
Even seeing the little girl get the short end of the stick once makes it feel... worth it.
But to my utter surprise, we lost everything!
At his peak, Kreacher would even cook seven meals a day, all with Fertilizer...
Kreacher ate Jin Ke La seven times in a row, and his legs went weak from diarrhea.
That's why Kreacher has gotten so fat.
If you eat every day and don't exercise, how can you not gain weight?
Annie was quite pleased with herself... Heh, trying to outsmart me?
Back on Werewolf Island, when I encountered Thunderbird, I predicted the direction of its lightning strikes several times and easily escaped.
Annie climbed onto the box and reached the window. Ignoring the dust, she simply plopped down on the edge of the window, her feet dangling outside.
She looked outside; Grimmauld Place was quiet and deserted.
Anne pulled out a packet of honey candies from somewhere, ate one herself, and then handed it to Kreacher.
The other person didn't move at all, just stood there to the side, ignoring her.
Anne laughed and said, "There was no poison... Eat up, you lost again, I ate your dinner."
Consider it compensation.
Kreacher remained silent, but his stomach suddenly started growling.
There's no way around it, ever since it got fat, it gets hungry easily... If it misses a meal, its eyes start to glaze over.
But Kreacher still didn't eat. It didn't curse the other party as a mud-blood like it did at the beginning, which was already a mercy!
But he didn't want to get close to this girl, and he was even less willing to eat her food!
If it weren't for the orders of that spendthrift master, it wouldn't have even glanced at the little girl.
It hates... mud-type people the most!
But that honey... it smelled so good.
Kreacher felt like he'd eaten somewhere before.
It suddenly remembered:
That summer, a boy secretly shared half of the snacks he bought at Hogsmeade with the monastery.
At this moment, Anne spoke up, saying:
"Don't you want to know why I can always guess whether you've poisoned me or not?"
Kreacher twitched his large, long ears, genuinely curious.
It was so curious!
"Eat it, and I'll tell you why."
After a long silence, Kreacher finally spoke, his voice hoarse like the croaking of a bullfrog:
"Is this an order?"
If it's an order... it reluctantly... perhaps... it can try it.
"It's not an order, it's just friends sharing gifts."
Annie grinned, quiet and reserved, but the light in her eyes was like a sweet mountain spring.
Kreacher paused, as if it hadn't felt this kind of care since its master Regulus died.
Not at all!
Even when Sirius's owner returned, he only cursed it and ignored it.
There was no concern whatsoever!
It had worked for the Black family for a century, and would even dedicate its life to the family.
For some reason, Kreacher, who clearly disliked Anne, unconsciously trembled and reached out his hand.
It carefully took the sizzling honey candy, picked up a piece, and put it in its mouth.
It tastes just like before... sweet and sour.
Anne shifted her position on the windowsill, making room for Kreacher.
Kreacher bit his lip, his eyes wide, but he still didn't go over.
She simply sat down not far away.
Anne, with her back to it, laughed:
"Do you have any secrets? Shall we share one?"
"I have many secrets," Kreacher thought. "But I won't tell you a single one!"
Annie tilted her head and thought for a moment.
"To be fair, I'll go first."
Hmm... Hermione wasn't home, so Pineapple Head went to her room to play and chewed up one of her favorite books, mistaking it for a teething toy.
Hahaha, I bought her a new one; she definitely won't notice.
What kind of secret is that!
Kreacher pursed his lips.
The girl turned her head and asked softly, "It's your turn!"
Kreacher stared wide-eyed, and as if possessed, suddenly ran towards its little kennel.
In its filthy nest, it rummaged around and pulled out a locket.
It said in a hoarse voice, "Can you help me destroy it?"
Anne paused for a moment, then took out a locket from her pocket as well.
