Chapter 772 The Half-Giant - Ygritte

Chapter 772 The Half-Giant - Ygritte

William killed all the giants that attacked him.

He originally wanted to keep one alive to gather intelligence.

But giants are creatures with small heads, low intelligence, and a penchant for thrilling hand-to-hand combat.

Seeing that William was alone, he thought he could beat him, so he charged over with a roar, looking fearless and completely unaware of what fear was.

Well, now the gene pool of giants, a species that is already rare, has been further reduced.

After the battle, William turned around and walked toward the two giants he had saved.

There's not much to say about male Titans. Normal adult Titans are generally six to seven meters tall, and some can even reach eight or nine meters.

There are no records of anything taller than that. Perhaps in some corner of the world, there still exist some kind of aberrant species, colossal titan, or armored titan.

Even... an Ultraman named Zeta.

But the giant in front of us is only a little over five meters tall, so he is probably not yet an adult.

What surprised William the most was that the giantess was less than three meters tall.

She was clearly a mixed-race giant, just like Hagrid and Mrs. Maxim.

It's easy to tell: real giants are tall, have rough skin, and are incredibly ugly.

Half-giants are different; it's normal for them to be taller than wizards, but much shorter than true giants.

Hybrid giants also inherit human features.

Just look at Hagrid; although he has a full beard, he just doesn't take good care of it.

His appearance resembled his father's, and was very different from the giant's ugliness.

Madame Maxime was even more stunning; even by wizarding standards of beauty, she was a quintessential French beauty.

In fact, when these hybrid giants are born, the giants are often the victims, the ones who are violated!

Even the giantesses probably didn't feel a thing while they were "fighting" with the wizards.

It's not even as painful as a mosquito bite, so how could anyone like stirring a large vat with a toothpick?

Therefore, some people's fantasies are really strange; they are capable of doing the most beastly things.

Before William's time travel, he had seen online stories of ruthless people who did unspeakable things to snails and even pythons with their teeth pulled.

I heard that the werewolf who played with snails eventually had his third leg amputated due to an infection.

What a brave warrior!

Of course, this magical world is equally impressive:

Half-giants, half-fairies, Veela bloodlines, and even trolls, vampires, werewolves, and centaurs are not spared.

Look at Cedric, he's a wolf killer who doesn't even spare mermaids!

To be fair, this mixed-race giant is really beautiful.

Mrs. Maxi was also very beautiful, but she was an older woman, while this person had a more youthful face, full of collagen, and seemed not to have reached adulthood yet.

She had a pair of rare violet eyes, both wild and innocent, and thick braids that hung down to her waist, adorned with beautiful jewels.

This woman named Ygritte was only slightly larger than the wizard.

William killed the giants without hesitation, and Ygritte showed no sympathy for her fellow human beings, nor much vigilance.

Instead, their eyes were filled with awe and worship as they looked at him.

Giants worship the strong; only the most powerful can rule the tribe and become the king of giants.

William's clean and efficient killing of the giant left a deep impression on her.

William was still hesitant. He couldn't speak the language of the giants and didn't know how to get her to lead him to the giants' village.

Sure enough, when traveling abroad, it's always good to learn another foreign language... Alright, I'll put the language of giants on the agenda right away.

Just then, the giant boy lying on the ground suddenly roared, his voice piercing the eardrums like a tiger's howl.

Despite his severe injuries, he swayed his body and nimbly got to his feet, as if he hadn't been the one who had just been beaten up.

Wow... the giant's physical endurance is truly off the charts.

I wonder if the half-giant woman's endurance is also that strong.

The young giant raised his head, staring blankly at the fallen corpse, then caught sight of William, his large, wary eyes widening as if he wanted to attack him.

Ygritte raised her hands and shouted, "Hodor, he saved us and killed those enemies! Don't move if you don't want to die!"

William couldn't understand what the woman was saying, but he had already raised his wand.

But before he could make a move, the boy quieted down, obediently squatted on the ground, and grinned foolishly.

The woman then looked at William and said in fluent English, "My name is Ygritte, and this is my brother Ador. Thank you for saving us!"

"You can speak English?" William looked at her in surprise.

“Yes, we migrated from England. Our leader speaks English, and she taught me,” Ygritte said.

The giants of the tribe were all stupid, but she was the only one with normal intelligence, and eventually she learned how to do it.

However, this was the first time she had ever met a wizard or communicated with one.

Now that we can communicate, things will be much easier, William asked:

"Where is your tribe? I'd like to visit them."

Giants are rather xenophobic, otherwise Dumbledore wouldn't have sent Hagrid to make contact with them.

Having saved these two people, I should be able to use my connections to sneak in.

Ygritte tugged at the animal skin, her initial surprise followed by fear upon hearing that William was going to the tribe.

They feared that this powerful young wizard would harm their people.

Finally, her worry turned to joy, and she nodded, revealing a row of neat white teeth, and said, "I'll take you!"

With a light tap of his wand, William sent the four giant corpses floating back to their feet.

Ado was terrified, thinking the enemy had been resurrected, and in a fit of rage picked up the cedar.

Ygritte had no choice but to comfort her foolish brother once again.

Ado raised his hand toward William, muttering something in a very excited manner.

Ygritte didn't translate, she just glared at her younger brother... she looked like an older sister wanting to hit her disobedient brother.

William frowned and asked, "What is it?"

Ygritte said awkwardly, "Ador wants to borrow those heads... not to steal your spoils, he just wants to use them."

Ygritte felt embarrassed that her younger brother was asking for things from others as soon as they met.

William readily agreed. He did need the giant's corpse, but it didn't matter whether it had a head or not, and he was happy to do a favor.

Giants are indeed incredibly fierce; the young giant used cedar wood to pierce through all four heads.

He held a piece of wood in his hand, like a string of candied hawthorns. One of the pieces had dried blood, making its face look dry, while some still had drops of blood dripping from it, yet it still looked lifelike.

A piece of parchment was quickly written on in mid-air. Jin Feixia caught it in his mouth and flew quickly into the sky.

Hermione and Missandei went to search elsewhere.

William was about to go and check on the giants when he told Hermione not to worry.

Ygritte walked up to William, suddenly squatted down, and tilted her left shoulder downwards.

William paused for a moment, then jumped up and sat on her shoulders.

On the snow-capped mountain bathed in the setting sun, the giant girl carried the young wizard as they raced northwards.
