Chapter 743 Gellert Grindelwald
Chapter 743 Gellert Grindelwald
Sitting on the sofa in the living room, looking at Missandei's expressionless face, William felt quite helpless.
That witch is too stubborn. The minister told her to stay by his side at all times, and she really stayed by his side at all times. There was no room for compromise.
Do you also keep watch here when you go to sleep at night?
William gave Hermione a look, and Hermione immediately understood:
"Missande, shouldn't you go and tell your minister about this? It's such a big deal!"
"I have already sent a letter to the minister, telling him that you are going to Nurmengard," Missandei said calmly.
"I'll stay here; I don't need to leave."
"What did you use to deliver the letter?" Hermione looked around suspiciously. "An owl?"
After the three left the hall, they went to William's room and never left again. Hermione didn't see the owl at all.
"It wasn't owls; I sent them to deliver the letter."
Missandei raised her arm, and her wide black sleeves unfolded.
William peered curiously into the black sleeve, and what came into view was an unusually fair arm, like a piece of fine jade.
Looking further inside...
Hermione suddenly held up two fingers, waved them in front of William's eyes, poked him threateningly, and then glared at him fiercely.
William quickly looked away to avoid being tactically poked in the eye.
But to be fair... Mashiro.
Missandei didn't seem to realize anything was wrong, while Hermione stood up and pulled her toward the other sofa.
Hermione whispered in Missandei's ear, teaching her some basic common sense.
Missandei, who had always been expressionless and seemed like a girl with no emotions, finally showed a change in her expression, with a faint blush appearing on her face.
Hermione would occasionally point at William, and strange words like "pervert" and "pervert" would occasionally float by.
Wait, who is Hermione talking about?
William thought about it for a while, but couldn't figure out what to do with his sister.
After a moment, he suddenly narrowed his dark green pupils and looked straight ahead.
It was a very small bird:
It is only the size of a thumb, with a round body, a long and thin mouth, and a pair of ruby-like eyes.
Its wings were flapping so fast that they left afterimages.
William stared for a while, as still as a wooden sculpture. After an unknown amount of time, he suddenly stretched out his right hand without any warning.
He suddenly reached forward and grabbed the golden flying sword in his palm.
Golden Flying Man is a magical creature with incredible speed, capable of changing its flight direction with unbelievable speed and skill.
Its feathers and eyes are particularly valuable, making it a target for witch doctors to hunt, and it was even once on the verge of extinction.
Hundreds of years ago, Quidditch matches didn't use the Golden Snitch, but the Golden Flying Man.
Later, the Golden Snitch was invented, which replaced this creature.
William had never seen the Golden Flying Man in England, and he never expected to find something in this room.
Jin Feixia is a social animal; if there's a first one, there's bound to be a second.
William looked up and scanned the room, and sure enough, he spotted a few more not far away.
He raised his wand, conjured a net, and suddenly spun it into the sky.
Missandei, who had been keeping an eye on William, whistled, and the group of Golden Flying Knights, as if they had smelled a delicious treat, all took flight and flew towards her.
William turned to Missandei and said with a start, "So, you used the Golden Flying Man to deliver the letter."
No wonder he didn't notice.
"Are these your pets?" Hermione asked cautiously, perching on Missandei's shoulder as she gazed at the birds.
"Is it illegal to keep a pet Golden Flying Man?"
Missandei said calmly:
"They settled in my yard many years ago."
That area is now designated a protected zone by the Austrian Ministry of Magic; they're just following me, so it shouldn't be illegal."
William clicked his tongue slightly.
Is your yard a protected area for the Golden Flying Heroes?
How big is this yard?!
This is a bit like pointing to a mountain and saying, "Our mountain has been designated as a giant panda reserve, so it's not illegal for me to keep giant pandas."
What wealthy family's daughter is this?
Missandei didn't notice William's expression, but instead exclaimed in surprise:
"You're so fast! This is the first time I've ever seen a wizard catch a Golden Flying Man with his bare hands."
"No problem, even though I'm a chaser, I also have the heart of a seeker," William said proudly.
"Following Jin Feixia isn't illegal, but I remember that arresting Jin Feize is illegal, isn't it?" Missandei looked at him seriously and said bluntly:
"Is that net in your hand a tool specifically designed to catch Golden Flying Man?"
William coughed and forced an explanation:
"As a chaser, it makes perfect sense for me to carry a net to catch Quaffles, doesn't it?"
Just then, the doorbell rang.
Hermione got up and went over, opening the door.
A man in a long robe, with an extraordinary air about him, walked in.
William glanced at Missandei, seeing that she was expressionless and motionless, and assumed that the person who came was a wizard sent by the Austrian minister.
To everyone's surprise, the man immediately said, "Mr. Stark, my name is Soros, and I am the Minister of Magic of Austria."
William cast a surprised glance at Missandei.
Is he the Minister of Magic?
Missandei nodded to William.
"I heard you two are going to Nurmengard?" Soros asked.
"Grindelwald is a top war criminal, not some wizard, and you can see him."
"This is a letter from Dumbledore to you." William took out the letter.
"It's not that I'm going to see Grindelwald; I'm going to Nurmengard on behalf of Dumbledore—the man who once defeated Grindelwald—to visit him in prison."
William said with righteous indignation.
"Let's see if this Dark Lord shows any signs of escaping. If he has, I'll have to bring him back!"
……
……
Nurmengard,
Rozier bypassed a corridor and quietly made his way to the prison roof.
After walking for so long, apart from encountering a few Aurors on the outermost edge, he didn't see a single wizard again.
The enormous prison was surprisingly unguarded by any wizards, even worse than Azkaban!
However, this also brought him a lot of convenience.
Rozier pushed open the heavy door and entered a narrow room.
Inside, a stone bed was placed, upon which sat an old man with white hair, so thin he was nothing but skin and bones.
He was curled up under the blanket... I don't know if he was asleep or... dead.
Is this old geezer Grindelwald?
Could we have contacted the wrong person?
Rozier hesitated for two seconds, about to speak, when the old man suddenly stood up.
His hunched body suddenly straightened, as if he had been brought back to life.
Those blue eyes, deep in their sockets, were now gleaming with a golden light like flames.
The old man's eyes were ethereal yet bright, as if piercing through the river of time to witness the distant future that had not yet happened!
Rozier frantically raised his wand at the old man, only to find to his horror that he could no longer move.
He stopped thinking about the fake letter in his pocket and simply shouted, "The Dark Lord asked me to give you a message!"
The fire in the old man's eyes slowly faded. He staggered to Rozier's side, intending to take the wand, but as if electrocuted, he immediately withdrew his hand.
He had promised him that he would never touch a magic wand again in his life.
So, will he come this year?
The old man walked forlornly to the stone window, the setting sun casting its rays on his face, while the Danube River flowed slowly by.
Grindelwald pondered the scene he had just witnessed.
That was what he saw... a new prophecy.
Grindelwald murmured, "Death..."
