Chapter 739 William's Werewolf Strategy

The British Auror riding the Nimbus 2000 was quickly driven away by the enraged French Auror.

William recalled his meager knowledge of European history and thought to himself:

"That was definitely the Dementors' fault. I will speak with Minister Fudge and testify on Durmstrang's behalf."

Testify...wouldn't that confirm that Karkaroff captured the Dementors?

This help is truly effective, addressing the root cause directly.

William asked in a low voice, "Where is the person I asked for?"

"I brought it to you." Crigan gestured behind him.

Soon, two witches came over.

Leading the way was a beautiful witch with wine-colored hair.

"Hi, William, long time no see," Costa said with a slight smile. "Do you remember me?"

William was stunned for a moment.

Of course he remembers.

At the time of the Paris incident, Costa had just graduated from Beauxbatons and was working as a receptionist in the French Ministry of Magic's halls.

When William and Hermione broke into the prison, Hermione even impersonated him and kissed Costa.

Later, I heard from Clegane that Costa was going to be transferred to be an Auror. I never thought I would have the chance to meet him again.

The initial goal was to infiltrate the werewolves' ranks so that they could be managed and prevented from biting people indiscriminately.

She successfully completed her registration with the Ministry of Magic, which became one of Hermione's achievements as Minister.

But once Voldemort is resurrected, he will surely send Death Eaters to contact the werewolves and recruit them as his servants.

Mormont, like the Little Black Robe, came in handy.

Fleur and her companions' mission was to help Mormont eliminate the troublemakers among the werewolves and, incidentally, unify the werewolf tribes throughout France.

Mormont needs a sufficient number of werewolves to attract Death Eaters to her.

William could then use this opportunity to send her into England and eliminate the werewolf army led by Fenrir Greyback.

"Please help us promote this."

Clegane's expression was grim: "I will. And don't let the Dark Lord cross the ocean. Just take care of him in England."

William didn't answer, but simply smiled and said, "I heard you're going to become the Minister of Magic of France?"

"Well, that's just a possibility; the competition is fierce." Clegane patted William on the shoulder, looking forward to it.

"I've been waiting for this wave of reputation."

William and Clegane got what they wanted.

William needs to send the werewolves in France to wipe out the werewolves in England.

Clegane, on the other hand, needs the reputation of "French werewolf zeroing" to become a minister in one fell swoop.

Clegane's appointment as a French minister also benefited William.

A win-win situation.

Having received Maxim and assigned him the task, William and Hermione boarded the ship again and left.

Watching the two disappear completely off the coastline, Furong slowly turned around, took Costa, and drove away in the carriage.
