A Certain Magical Hogwarts

Chapter 733 The Ruthless Sirius

Chapter 733 The Ruthless Sirius

When William stepped out of his room and into the living room, he found that most of the Order of the Phoenix members had already left.

Professor Snape, surprisingly, did not leave, but stood alone in the corner.

He doesn't talk to others or get close to them, as if he inherited Newt's autism.

However, judging from his impatient expression, you can tell that he is not autistic, but rather self-destructive and withdrawn.

Snape was clearly waiting for someone, and the only person he could wait for here was Professor Dumbledore.

Seeing Snape standing there alone, to avoid embarrassment, Mrs. Weasley went over and politely invited him over:

"Have a meal before you go, Professor Snape."

"He won't eat here, Jasmine."

Sirius Black, sitting on the sofa with his legs crossed, said sarcastically, "The food you made doesn't suit his taste... and bat sashimi, he doesn't like eating his own kind, right?"

"If it's for dog meat, I might consider it," Snape replied coldly.

The two glared at each other again.

Mrs. Weasley was somewhat embarrassed and didn't know what to say.

She had just been planning to talk to Professor Snape about her youngest son Ron's academic performance during dinner.

Ron has been getting a "P" grade for several years in a row... After summer vacation comes the OWL year, is there any way to salvage things for him?

Otherwise, could you tutor me privately?

Fortunately, Sirius interrupted him, otherwise he might have received a hopeless answer from Snape:

It's hopeless, the account is ruined, I should consider starting a new alt.

What? Ron's alt account, his main account is excellent, almost max level?

That's fine then, let it be useless.

Seeing Sirius Black and Snape about to start fighting, Mrs. Weasley tried to mediate while wondering to herself.

What kind of grudge or resentment could it be that the two of them hated each other because of love?

Mrs. Weasley, of course, did not understand the feud between the two, otherwise she would not have invited Snape to stay for dinner.

The reason is simple: she hadn't had much contact with these people before.

They're different ages.

In terms of kinship, Mrs. Weasley is Sirius's cousin by marriage; Mr. Weasley is Sirius's great-uncle's great-grandson.

The relatives are very distant now, and they hardly ever visit each other.

When Snape's generation of wizards entered the school, the Weasleys had already graduated, and their eldest son, Bill, was already over a year old.

Wizards of roughly the same age as the Weasleys included Bella Black and Rita Skeeter.

Even Lucius is several years younger than Mr. Weasley.

As for Sirius and his friends, the Wizarding Wars had already broken out by the time they graduated, making it even more impossible for them to have any contact with each other.

The reason is simpler: the Weasleys were busy having babies.

Since 1972, a Weasley has been born every two or three years.

With her large pregnant belly, how could Mrs. Weasley possibly have any contact with these people?

Not to mention knowing about their grudges from their student days.

"Alright, stop arguing." Lupin rubbed his temples. "Sirius, just shut up a bit."

At this moment, Dumbledore came out of the room, greeted everyone, and quickly left with Snape.

"Snape definitely didn't finish telling us everything. Hmph, he's keeping an eye on us," Sirius muttered to himself.

"I wonder what Dumbledore was thinking!"

No one paid any attention to him.

"William, would you like to eat here?" Mrs. Weasley said expectantly. "You and Hermione saved Ron and Harry again; I must thank you both properly."

Mrs. Weasley was a little disappointed; she had wanted to invite Professor Dumbledore to dinner so they could discuss student safety with him.

Why do things always happen to my son and Harry?

It's not true, as the wizarding world widely believes: Hogwarts is the safest place.

Who exactly spread this rumor?

Is spreading rumors...not illegal?

William glanced at Mr. Weasley, then nodded.

Percy's question was only mentioned to Hermione and Dumbledore.

William certainly wouldn't talk about this directly with Mr. Weasley, but the headmaster didn't seem to bring it up either.

It seems they want Mr. Weasley to discover it himself.

Otherwise, everyone will feel awkward.

Hearing that dinner was finally ready, Tonks jumped up from his chair excitedly: "I'll help too! I'm starving!"

This was the first time William had ever heard someone describe flat chests in such a refined and elegant way.

However, Tonks really spends money extravagantly. Her own salary isn't even enough to cover the intelligence fees William gives her... Now that she's out of money, she comes to the Order of the Phoenix for meals every day.

They really know how to take advantage of people.

Is this the silly badger from Hufflepuff?

I'm in love, I'm in love.

"Ouch!"

Overwhelmed by his boundless energy, Tonks tripped over the umbrella frame made by the troll and fell flat on his back.

Immediately afterwards, a terrifying, deafening, and chilling scream rang out.

A velvet curtain riddled with wormholes was suddenly lifted.

On the wall is a portrait of an old woman wearing a black hat, screaming desperately, each scream louder than the last, as if she were being tortured.

The old woman was drooling, her eyes were darting around, and her yellow skin was taut from screaming.

"You beast! You slut! You mud-blooded bastard! You filthy and sinful wretch! Get out of here right now! How dare you defile my ancestral home—"

Tonks was terrified; she had been insulted like that before.

William snapped his fingers, and the portrait fell silent, as if it had been choked.

Mrs. Weasley hurried over and drew the curtains.

Sirius Black stood up, looking at the woman in the portrait with disgust. "Yes, that's my mother."

"I kept trying to get her down, but she seemed to have cast a permanent adhesive spell behind the canvas."

William, is there a potion that can render her mute? It's just a painting, after all.

"..."

That would be better than painting a big black dog in her portrait that chases and bites her all day long.

It's truly a heartwarming scene of a loving mother and filial son.

Yes, we can have Annie add something unique to this painting this summer.

For example... nine suns.

"Where are Anne and Hermione? Where did they go?" Sirius asked.

"Let's clean upstairs," William said, looking around the old Black mansion.

"Great! They can do all the work, so I don't have to do these chores." Sirius seemed very happy.

"You don't know, I've been cleaning here for more than half a year."

William said speechlessly, "You've cleaned it like this after half a year?"

"Oh, don't worry about the details, think more about our journey ahead!" Sirius patted William on the shoulder.

Austria is a long way off, and William and Hermione will use Durmstrang's large ship to travel from the North Sea into the Rhine River and finally arrive in Austria.

"Where did you moor the ship?" William asked.

"On the north coast of England..." Sirius said casually.

"Aren't you afraid the Death Eaters will find that ship?" William frowned.

"Impossible, Hagrid is waiting for me on the ship, and..." Sirius whispered:

"A super typhoon recently hit that area, a Category 16 typhoon... supposedly a once-in-a-century event. No wizard can get close to that ship."

"..."

So, you just heartlessly abandoned Hagrid and those Durmstrang students on the ship like that?

You're something else, Sirius!
