A Certain Magical Hogwarts
Chapter 715 Practice Makes Perfect
Chapter 715 Practice Makes Perfect (Thanks to the generous donation of 10,000 coins from "Yang Feiyang")
In the cemetery,
The Death Eaters all knelt on the ground, trembling.
The resurrected Voldemort routinely tortured a few servants to test their feel; he then stepped on Malfoy's hair to test its feel.
Not bad, really not bad! It's that familiar taste.
Wormtail was sobbing there; his hand was gone, thrown into the resurrection soup to provide Voldemort with a body.
At this point, excessive blood loss caused excruciating pain.
Voldemort's rebirth requires three things: lotus root as bones, lotus leaves as clothing, and the Samadhi Fire as a supplement...
Ahem... It should be: Father's remains as bones, rat tail juice, supplemented with Harry's blood essence.
Thanks to these three treasures, Voldemort became incredibly powerful after his resurrection.
He walked barefoot to the insect tail. He clearly enjoyed the insect tail's screams.
Especially the expression on his face, which was full of mockery, as if he were looking at a piece of trash.
For more than a year, Wormtail had been serving Voldemort like a father.
But once Voldemort put on his clothes, he turned his back on everyone.
"You returned to me not out of loyalty, but out of fear of being captured by the Starks. You deserve this suffering."
"Insect tail, you know that, don't you?" he said in a hoarse voice.
"Yes, Master," Wormtail groaned, "but I beg you, Master... I beg you... for the sake of how long I've cared for you... I will help you..."
"Yes, in any case, you helped me gain a physical body." Voldemort said coldly, watching Wormtail sob on the ground.
"Even though you are a despicable traitor, you helped me... The Dark Lord never fails to reward those who have helped him..."
Voldemort gently raised his wand, drawing a streak of light like molten silver.
At first it had no shape, then the band of light twisted and turned into a shimmering human hand.
It flew down and landed on the bleeding wrist of the insect's tail.
The insect's tail stopped sobbing, and its breathing became heavy and piercing.
He looked up, staring in disbelief at the silver hand. It fit his arm perfectly, as if he were wearing a dazzling glove.
He tried to bend his gleaming fingers, then tremblingly picked up a stone from the ground and easily crushed it into powder.
A strong and powerful silver right hand!
"My master," Peter whispered, "it's so beautiful... thank you... thank you..."
He crawled over on his knees and kissed Voldemort's robes.
"I hope your loyalty will not waver again, Wormtail," Voldemort said with disgust.
"No, my master... never..."
Insect Tail stood up and joined the circle, his face still glistening with tears, repeatedly examining his powerful newbie.
Voldemort moved around in the circle, until he came to the largest gap, and stared at it with his empty red eyes as if someone were standing there.
"Seven Death Eaters are missing here... Four died for me, and one didn't have the guts to come back... He'll pay the price." He sneered.
"The other one, I think, is gone forever... He will certainly be executed..."
Voldemort was somewhat disappointed; it seemed that the servant who had left forever had disappointed him greatly. He had originally valued him more.
But Voldemort's expression immediately brightened with excitement. "And there's one more, still my most loyal servant, who has returned to my service."
A slight commotion arose among the Death Eaters, the masked men exchanging furtive glances.
"He's at Hogwarts, and thanks to my loyal servant, our little one is here tonight..."
All eyes turned to Harry.
Harry struggled, his mouth stuffed with a pair of underwear he'd gotten from who-knows-where—a bug tail—but he couldn't move.
"Not bad," Voldemort smiled from his lipless mouth.
"Harry Potter has graced my Rebirth Party with his presence. We might even call him my special guest..."
"My dear Tom, you're hosting a rebirth party here and you didn't invite me?" A voice suddenly echoed around.
"Am I not your best friend anymore? Every time I swear to someone, I always use you as my guarantor!"
Everyone looked up in shock, wondering who dared to say such a thing.
A young wizard emerged from the darkness and slowly approached from a distance.
He wore a magnificent blue robe, had dark green eyes, held a magic wand in his right hand, and wore a longsword at his waist.
Upon seeing Stark appear, the Death Eaters became restless.
Whether or not they have fought each other, his reputation speaks for itself; everyone knows he is very skilled.
But what kind of scene is this...? Voldemort has been resurrected, and he actually dares to come? Isn't he afraid of death?
William strolled over, seemingly unafraid of death and disregarding Voldemort.
Malfoy stared intently at William, a hint of jealousy creeping into his eyes.
He truly possessed an extraordinary bearing, especially with his wand in his right hand and the longsword at his left waist... he was so exceptional that it made others feel ashamed of themselves.
"Stark...you...Dumbledore is here too?" Voldemort gasped, turning his head to search.
"There's no need for the principal to come. He's too old, has trouble walking, and doesn't like participating in these kinds of activities."
William Apparated and appeared beside Harry.
"What, you want to kill Harry? He's your half-brother!"
Harry was tied to the tombstone and struggled.
William snapped his fingers, and the ropes binding him came off on their own.
William tossed Harry's wand to him and calmly said, "Harry, I've come to take you back to school."
Hermione has won the Triwizard Tournament, and Gryffindor is preparing to hold a grand celebration party.
Professor McGonagall asked me to ask you... why you're late.
She's very unhappy.
Harry was incredibly excited, and his eyes even welled up with tears. He had truly thought he was going to die.
But unexpectedly, William showed up!
"I'm sorry, William... Voldemort was resurrected because of me..." Harry choked up.
"Then pick up your wand and kill him. You're not afraid, are you?" William asked, staring into Harry's eyes.
Harry stared at William, completely stunned.
"Haha, you're so adorably arrogant, kid," Voldemort laughed.
Without another word, William suddenly Apparated and appeared beside Voldemort, his longsword flashing past and slicing across Voldemort's robe.
Voldemort hadn't expected William to be so fast, nor had he anticipated that William would fight in the same way as a Muggle.
He had initially thought the sword was just for decoration.
Caught off guard, his arm ached and loosened, causing the wand to fall to the ground.
Voldemort immediately retreated.
This scene had happened countless times in the time loop; William knew Voldemort's next move even with his eyes closed.
He remained silent, his movements as swift as a cheetah leaping out of the jungle, and rushed to Voldemort's side.
William, whose agility was beyond imagination, delivered a beautiful knee strike, but Voldemort held him down with both hands.
But another left jab landed squarely on Voldemort's forehead.
As Voldemort flew backward like a kite with a broken string, he cast a spell with his right hand without a staff, causing venomous snakes to spring up from the ground and bite at William.
William had been bitten more than twenty times and had long since learned his lesson. With a flashy sword flourish, he chopped off the snake's head.
William strode forward, and once again, an illusion appeared.
He seemed to have anticipated Voldemort's movements, and immediately lifted his foot.
In everyone's eyes, it looked more like Voldemort had gone up to him and was kicked in the side.
The Dark Lord was sent flying, but his body glided like a snake, eventually bending over and gripping a tombstone tightly with his hands and feet.
Voldemort's eyes turned bloodshot, and he spat out a mouthful of blood.
William was unharmed.
The Death Eaters were in an uproar, seemingly finding it hard to believe.
Red blood mixed with saliva fell to the ground, and Voldemort forced a smile:
"Mudblood's despicable tricks... Let me show you what magic is!"
With a flick of his right hand, the wand returned to his grasp.
Voldemort raised his wand and aimed it at the cliff face on the left. After a moment of silence, a series of deafening rumbling sounds filled the air.
The canyon wall, hundreds of meters long, was split in two, with rocks constantly rolling into the cemetery, stirring up large amounts of dust.
The mountain came crashing down on William yet again.
William, who had been hit thousands of times, finally calmly said:
"It's always the same old trick, can't you come up with something new?"
He remained perfectly still, his right hand drawing an arc that created ripples, and his wand began to swing at a dazzling speed.
The surrounding gale seemed to freeze for a moment, and much of the flying dust stopped in the air.
After a moment of stillness, a sudden gust of wind arose between heaven and earth.
A strong wind, like a tornado, rushed towards the cliff face that was crashing towards them.
The next scene was astonishing: the cliff was swept away by a barrage of wind blades.
The gale seeped into the boulder, first tearing out cracks, and then shredding the hundred-meter-long boulder into hundreds and thousands of pieces.
William laughed and said, "After playing through these levels for eight years... it's just a matter of practice."
