A Certain Magical Hogwarts

Chapter 709 Preparing to Leave the Time Loop

Chapter 709 Preparing to Leave the Time Loop

William has entered the time loop three times, and this is the longest he has stayed in it.

It's almost caught up with the sum of the previous two times.

But he still showed no intention of leaving.

He was able to leave Hogwarts through a deal with Vivian.

He didn't want to see her again. Since he didn't want a second transaction, he might as well stay inside until he got his money's worth and improve his strength as much as possible.

When do you plan to leave?

While William's condition for leaving the loop was to discover the cause of Harry and the others' deaths, his own expectations were much higher:

In the battle against Voldemort, if not evenly matched, they could at least hold their own.

This is actually not easy.

A wizard's magical prowess must take into account his own talent, the time he has spent learning, and his teachers.

Voldemort himself was a top genius, and he also had sixty years of magical skill... According to traditional martial arts, that's sixty years of experience.

Wizards in the same league as him are Dumbledore and Grindelwald.

In the past hundred years, the strength of these three has been unparalleled in the magical world... There is no one above them, and no one below them is far below them.

Their strength is widely acknowledged; no one would consider them to be the world's number one braggart.

How long has William been exposed to magic?

Six years... Even if you add the other two time loops and the five years at Hogwarts, it's only seventeen or eighteen years.

In such a short time, they think they can close the gap, or even surpass Voldemort, Dumbledore, and Grindelwald... They have something to say:

Young man, who do you think you are?!

Of course, there are definitely those "peerless geniuses" who can easily defeat Aurors in their first year, completely crush Snape in their second year, take down Voldemort in their fourth year, and dominate the wizarding world in their fifth year.

But that's not some kind of system; it's just an orphanage where the "lucky ones" start by sacrificing their parents.

William doesn't have that ability; his strength comes entirely from his own efforts, which he learned little by little within the time loop.

Fortunately, he had one advantage that Voldemort could not match.

He didn't take any detours at all. His early one-on-one tutors were all like Professor Flitwick, and later Dumbledore, Nicolas, and others.

Now, the enemy he's fighting every day is Voldemort himself!

He can use each "death" to fill in the gaps, but can others do that?

William's strength is improving by leaps and bounds; that's a perfect description of him.

As for staying in the cycle for so many years, don't you get tired of it?

No, no... As long as I can leave Hogwarts, there are so many places to go and so many different kinds of fun to have.

Shuang is over.

Was William happy? Yes, his happiness was beyond what many people could even imagine.

So the cycle continues... William is letting himself go every day.

The 2300th cycle

He led Hermione to attack Gringotts.

After several reconnaissance missions, William has basically figured out Gringotts' defensive configuration.

William then sent all the magical creatures from the labyrinth to the entrance of the Ancient Spirits to distract the fairies.

That night, the warriors who participated in the third level were surprised to find that there were no magical creatures in the level, it was just a maze.

Meanwhile, thick smoke billowed from Gringotts as William released the dragons guarding the underground vault.

He himself was also causing destruction everywhere, controlling a fairy and opening doors all over the place.

People always love a good show, and many wizards rushed in to rob the money.

That evening, the incident made the front page of the Daily Prophet.

"Gringotts was robbed; the wealth of British wizards vanished in an instant!"

Judging from the title alone, one might think it's a stock market crash, with investors being fleeced and preparing to jump off a building.

The consequences of Gringotts being robbed were, of course, very serious.

Wizards' wealth is mostly stored in Gringotts, and some of it is even the accumulated wealth of pure-blood families over dozens of generations.

The fairies have to pay compensation! It can't just be a matter of saying they were robbed and that's it.

But the goblins couldn't afford to pay for it, and they insisted that it was a Ministry of Magic conspiracy to seize Gringotts.

Human nature cannot withstand testing; a seemingly insignificant spark ignites a war between fairies!

The 2500th cycle,

William, disguised as Merlin, found Prince Charles.

At this time, Cha Dachui was only forty-two years old, in his prime, full of vigor and ambition, waiting for the old hag to die... Well, now is his most aggrieved time, being criticized by public opinion.

The reason is simple: Cha Da Chui's infidelity. He officially separated from Princess Diana two years ago and is now engaged in a war of words with her, a "battle of the Welsh royal family."

William told Charles that, according to historical precedent, he would not outlive the Queen and would remain the Prince of Wales for life, becoming the longest-serving Prince of Wales in British history.

William claimed to be Merlin, and Charles to be the reincarnation of King Arthur, who could help him revolt, seize the throne, and dismantle the constitutional monarchy.

That same day, Charles contacted a mole within the British Army to prepare for an attack on Buckingham Palace.

Then, the army brothers sold out Cha Da Chui and handed him over to the Queen.

Finally, Prince Charles was arrested on charges of treason and secession. The media called for him to be hanged.

That evening, the Queen declared that she would break with the Bill of Rights signed in 1689 and add the prefix "Royal" to the British Army.

The 2800th cycle,

William found the British Prime Minister—John Major.

The Prime Minister was protected by wizards from the Ministry of Magic, but that did not prevent William from controlling him and making him inform the Queen that war had been declared against the United States, France, and Russia.

He also held a press conference, in front of reporters from around the world, to denounce Gorbachev for betraying his fellow workers and for deserving to be hanged from the old crooked tree outside the Kremlin.

……

……

Time flies, and William has been in the cycle for eight years.

William is tired and wants to leave the time loop.

Going out every day can indeed trigger new plots, new people and events... but the people I'm most familiar with, I have no memory of them the next day.

William felt like he was playing a single-player game; after a while, he experienced a peculiar emptiness.

Well, William felt like he was becoming a kidney-deficient... oops, I mean, an empty-hearted young master.

If you want to leave, you have to go back to where it all started.

The most difficult investigation—Harry's death—became incredibly simple once William was allowed to leave.

William had a complete understanding of the situation.

That is, Harry was given Polyjuice Potion and turned into Krum, and then Gilgamesh sent him to Voldemort.

With Death Eaters all around and Harry unable to Apparate, death was inevitable.

William only needed to investigate Ron, Krum, and the Durmstrang students whose ship was completely destroyed.

I'll be taking a day off tomorrow.

The boss is having a team meeting on Monday, and I need to prepare a PowerPoint presentation. Also, it's the boss's birthday tomorrow, and we're going out to celebrate, which will inevitably involve going out for dinner.

There's just too much going on, so I'm taking a day off. I also need to save up some drafts. Please forgive me.
