A Certain Magical Hogwarts

Chapter 707 Speeding is Fun for a Moment

Chapter 707 Speeding is Fun for a Moment

The car came to a sudden stop, its massive wheels screeching against the ground.

This is a three-story bus with the words "Knight Bus" spelled out in gold letters on the windshield.

"Welcome aboard the Knight Bus, our emergency passenger service for witches or wizards in distress."

Simply extend your wand and get in the car, and I can take you wherever you want to go.

My name is Stan Sampak, your favorite ticket seller—”

The young ticket seller suddenly stopped talking, his face turning bright red, seemingly very excited.

"Oh, Merlin's wicked leggings! Look who's here... Hey, Stark and Granger, are you going to ride in a car?"

The ticket seller, Sampak, had large, fan-shaped ears and several small bumps on his face.

"Can I get your autograph? I'm a die-hard fan of yours, and I keep every issue of the newspaper that features you."

Sampak talked incessantly, like a fanatical idol.

William raised his wand and interrupted, "Excuse me, I'm temporarily requisitioning this vehicle."

"Huh?" Sampak was stunned.

"Hurry up." William's wand sparked as it landed on the car door. "Can't you tell? We're going to steal this car."

"Yes, that's it!" Hermione said sternly, raising her wand.

"Alright, don't be impulsive." Sampak raised his hand. "Are you chasing after the dark wizard?"

He asked naively, "Or perhaps I can help? There's no road in England I'm not familiar with..."

"Is that so?" A rope shot out from the tip of William's wand and wrapped around him.

"Yes," Sampak said proudly, though he was being held tightly by the arm.

"You can go anywhere you want, as long as it's on land. You can't go underwater."

"What happened to Stan?" a voice shouted from inside the car.

"It's our driver, Ernst Plain," Sampark explained to William, then added loudly, "Ernst, I've run into the famous Starks and Granger; they need a ride..."

"Really? That's great! Ouch!" Ern excitedly bumped his head.

"Hurry up and bring them up, wait... you're not thinking of giving them away for free, are you?"

"Damn it, this won't do," the driver, Ern, said impatiently.

"Uh...no, they're trying to steal the car!"

"..."

"That's right." William led Hermione to the car and shouted, "This is a robbery! Don't move!"

There were no seats in the car; behind the curtained windows were six beds with brass pillars.

Candles were lit on the shelves next to each bed, illuminating the wainscoting walls.

The carriage curtain was opened, and two male witches, who were embracing each other, stopped what they were doing, startled by the sudden turn of events.

A witch in her thirties was sitting there reading the Daily Prophet, and she was also stunned.

You can get robbed just by taking a ride? Minister Fouché was saying in the newspaper a few days ago:

Society is stable, wizards live and work in peace, everything is OK, right?

But seeing a handsome young wizard approaching, wand in hand, her eyes lit up. Staring at William's face, she said greedily:

"I have no money, but if you're willing to rape me..."

Hermione rolled her eyes. She ran into witches like this everywhere she went!

She raised her leg and gently kicked William, urging him to hurry up.

William was speechless, but still smiled and said, "This lady..."

"Just call me Miss Santana."

"I'm Mr. Chery," William said seriously.

"Yes, Aunt Santana, I need to get the car now, you can get out."

Santana was somewhat disappointed to hear that William hadn't tried to take advantage of her.

What a waste of that handsome appearance!

Ernpland was an elderly wizard who wore glasses with thick lenses.

He seemed like an honest man; even though William and Hermione were planning to hijack the car, he helped teach them how to drive.

After he finished teaching, he nodded to William and hurriedly walked out of the car.

"Shall you drive, or shall I drive?" William asked.

"Of course it's me!"

Hermione was already excitedly sitting in the driver's seat.

Driving is her forte.

But Hermione's specialty is driving a gondola, which is a boat... she's never been to one before.

He didn't even have a driver's license.

In his previous life, William did take a driving test.

But he failed his driving test five times, and was blacklisted by his instructor... Over the years, he's almost forgotten about him.

After fiddling with it for a while, the two finally found the clutch and accelerator.

Hermione stepped on the gas, the car shook violently a few times, and then suddenly stalled.

"First gear, if you start in fifth gear, it will definitely stall." William tried hard to recall the remaining memories of driving.

Hermione, as expected of a gondola expert, quickly mastered the controls.

With a thud, William fell to the ground, the result of the Knight Bus's speed throwing him backward.

William turned to look out the window; they were now traveling steadily and quickly along a road.

Hermione shouted excitedly and stepped on the gas, causing the car to accelerate rapidly.

"Slow down, slow down, I can't take it!" William shouted, gripping the seat tightly. He was afraid of being thrown out and also afraid that Hermione would bump into something.

But the wizard's knight bus possesses special magic.

The car crashed into the sidewalk but hit nothing; rows of lampposts, mailboxes, and trash cans jumped aside to avoid it as it drove by, and then returned to their original positions after it had passed.

"Where shall we go for fun?"

"Let's go to Edinburgh first," William said, pulling out a map.

Edinburgh is the capital of Scotland and the second most popular tourist city in the UK after London.

There you'll find not only Edinburgh Castle, one of the world's most famous castles, but also St. Giles' Cathedral, Royal Mary King Street, and the Scottish Museum.

With plenty of attractions, it's perfect for a day trip for a young couple like William and Hermione!

"What's this button?" Hermione asked curiously, looking at the red button next to her after a while.

"I don't know," William shook his head.

"Shall I give it a try?" Hermione asked excitedly.

Since it's a time loop, you can do whatever you want.

Hermione pressed the red button, and the bus transformed, becoming longer and narrower, and even gaining a tail wing.

Four thick nozzles extend from the rear of the vehicle, spewing out scorching flames.

The car's speed suddenly increased from 400 kilometers per hour to 800 kilometers per hour.

The car was moving so fast it looked like it was undergoing a quantum leap.

This doesn't seem like a scene from a magical world film; it's turned into a Taxi or Fast & Furious movie!

"Ahhhhh!"

Hermione panicked and lost control of the steering wheel. The front of the car crashed into the railing of the green belt, and the whole car flew off the road.

That afternoon, William and Hermione were on the front page of all the newspapers.

"Shocking! The famous genius couple Stark and Granger were speeding on the road when their car overturned through the median strip and died on the spot."

The British Ministry of Magic was considerate enough not to mention their theft of the carriage.

But the global magical community was in an uproar, with countless wizards writing to inquire whether the story was true.

It is said that Clegane, the Director of the Enforcement Division of the French Ministry of Magic, was stunned for five minutes after seeing the report, and then exclaimed:

"Impossible! I... William and Hermione are invincible! We can't die!"

Clegane took two steps and then collapsed to the floor, unconscious.

Italian Minister of Magic, He Wen, let out three long howls, lamenting the impermanence of life!

The Triwizard Tournament was cancelled, white lanterns were hung at Hogwarts, and students gathered in the Great Hall to listen to Dumbledore's address.

Many British wizarding fans voluntarily took to the streets that evening to hold a memorial service to mourn the untimely deaths of the two geniuses.

This caught the attention of the Muggles.

However, Minister of Magic Fudge issued a public statement: "We insist on upholding the public's right to grieve..."

He also stated that he would establish a Stark and Granger Memorial Day to honor wizards who made outstanding contributions, using the legacy left by Stark and Granger.

However, this matter has also sparked controversy.

The goblins of Gringotts believed that since neither Stark nor Granger had made a will, no one could touch the property, and the Ministry of Magic had no right to manage it.

Both sides were eyeing the money, which involved millions of gallons.

The terrorist group Death Eaters claimed responsibility for the incident.

Rita didn't go to the cemetery. After receiving the news, she laughed three times and began writing: "My Best Friend - The Biography of Stark and Granger".

As for Sirius Black… he went to Gringotts at noon and was recognized by the goblins, who then notified the Aurors to arrest him.

"I want to see William, I want to see Hermione... Let me out!" he shouted in the detention center.

"They both died in a car accident."

When Tonks visited Sirius in prison, she tearfully relayed the devastating news to him.

Sirius was dumbfounded...
