Chapter 64 Quidditch Final

Chapter 64 Quidditch Final (Second Update)

Hufflepuff and Gryffindor are both there.

Both sides haven't lifted the trophy in a long time. Whoever wins will make history, and whoever loses will be nailed to the pillar of shame.

Even though Hufflepuff and Gryffindor used to have a good relationship, they won't get along at this time.

Fortunately, both sides are on the verge of restraint and have not yet started fighting, but there are clearly more students supporting Hufflepuff.

Slytherin would rather have the Badgers win the Quidditch Cup than see Grandindo win it.

Ravenclaw students, on the other hand, don't care; they support either house.

For example, Marietta is a staunch supporter of Gryffindor.

Her personality makes her slightly attracted to boys who like to show off. As for the quiet and unassuming Hufflepuff, well, forget about it.

It's not her type.

Cho naturally supports Hufflepuff, since Cedric is at Hufflepuff House. She's not very familiar with the Gryffindor students.

So she wore a hat on her head with a little badger on it.

As for William, he was in a bit of a dilemma.

Hufflepuff or Gryffindor, that is the question.

Which is safer: to endure Cedric's incessant mental attacks or to suffer the twins' endless pranks and sneak attacks?

William really is caught in a dilemma.

In order not to offend either side, he had no choice but to prepare for both, carrying the badges of both colleges at the same time!

At nine o'clock in the morning, everyone began to move toward the Quidditch pitch.

Three-fifths of the crowd wore pale yellow chrysanthemums, waved yellow flags with Hufflepuff badgers on them, or waved small flags with slogans such as "Hufflepuff Success!"

Behind the Gryffindor goal stood two hundred men adorned with red roses, the Gryffindor lion roaring on their flag.

Professor McGonagall stood beside the commentary booth, brandishing a huge lion in her hand, looking particularly excited.

"The Gryffindor team is here!" Lee Jordan shouted.

As he had said before, he applied for a commentator job.

"This Gryffindor team consists of the Weasley brothers, Jason, Spinnett, Neymar, and Wood."

"Although the Weasley twins and Angelina Jensen are both freshmen in their second year, there's no doubt they are incredibly talented!"

Lee Jordan introduced the Gryffindor players as if they were his own best friends.

Holding the microphone, he roared, "This Gryffindor team is widely recognized as a golden generation, and the best team Hogwarts has had in recent years..."

The Slytherin students were the first to protest, expressing their dissatisfaction, since their house had actually won the most Quidditch Cups in recent years.

"The Hufflepuff team has arrived, led by Captain Truman."

He seemed to have taken some kind of growth potion, growing a full head taller than last year, and his physique had become much stronger, as if he intended to win through brute force rather than skill.

"Of course, they also welcomed a new Seeker, Cedric Diggory."

Cedric's face began to turn red.

However, Lee Jordan didn't say anything nice. He shouted, "Although Cedric is a friend, I have to say here that you're nowhere near as good as Charlie!"

Li's comments were drowned out by boos from the other three colleges, and many students gave him the middle finger.

William shook his head. "Lee Jordan, aside from anything else, is quite good at manipulating people's mentality."

The psychological tactics were already in place before the competition even started.

"Captains, shake hands!" Huo Qiren said.

Charlie and Truman walked toward each other and clasped each other's hands tightly.

Both of them had flushed faces, as if they both wanted to break each other's fingers, and the air was filled with a tense atmosphere.

The match was about to begin, but William noticed something strange.

Headmaster Dumbledore is not here, nor are Snape and Professor Tywin...

This situation is a bit strange.

It is possible that Slytherin failed to reach the finals, and Snape would therefore miss the tournament.

But Professor Tywin never misses a Quidditch match. Like Professor McGonagall, he is a passionate Quidditch enthusiast.

The same question applies today, but it's the final, and Dumbledore has no chance of being absent.

But that's exactly what happened.

Where did they go?

William patted his pockets and realized he'd forgotten the Marauder's Map... and now of all times!

"What's wrong, William?" Hagrid asked, putting down his binoculars.

Hagrid and William sat together in the Ravenclaw audience, with Hagrid occupying three seats by himself. To avoid blocking the view of the young wizards behind them, they all sat in the last row.

You need binoculars to see what's happening on the field.

"I've discovered that Headmaster Dumbledore isn't here," William exclaimed.

There were boos all around, and you had to shout loudly to be heard.

"That's a bit strange, he's usually not late." Hagrid looked around and indeed couldn't find Dumbledore.

"Maybe he was late because of something, don't worry."

Hagrid said cheerfully, then pulled a handful of walnuts from his pocket.

Hagrid's rock-skin cakes are so thick they could be used for fighting, but his roasted walnuts are exceptional, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection.

Wearing a white thin-film glove, Hagrid gently squeezed a handful of walnuts in half and handed them to William.

"Thank you, Hagrid." William stopped worrying, took the walnuts, and watched the game intently while snacking.

Qiu is fully committed to her studies, preparing to join the Ravenclaw Quidditch team in her second year. The two teams in the final will be her competitors.

"Ah, he—he—he—they've set off!" Lee Jordan screamed with ecstasy.

"The Quaffle is now on Gryffindor's side. Gryffindor's Arya Spinnet is dribbling the ball straight toward Hufflepuff's goal."

She dribbled past two players... amazing speed, looks good, Aria!

Ah no—the Quaffle was intercepted by Warrington, Warrington of the Hufflepuff team, advancing on the field—whoa!

He tried to back up and draw a foul, that was despicable!

Oh, what a beautiful dribble, that's George Weasley's.

"George, you're a fucking genius! If you win the championship, I'll wash your socks for this month!"

Professor McGonagall shouted, "Lee Jordan, the game!"

"Oh, sorry Professor—Warrington lost the Quaffle, which was intercepted by Angelina Jensen. It was a beautiful steal, definitely one of the top ten plays of the day, no doubt about it!"

The Quaffle is on Gryffindor's side again.

What? Angelina is on a fast break with the ball?

So fast, Angelina, the girl rushes, rushes, rushes—pausing beautifully beside Kadvalad—rushes.

Angelina, she's going to shoot, she's shooting, oh, she's shooting!

Li Qiaodan slammed his fist on the table, and a loud commotion came through the microphone.
