A Certain Magical Hogwarts

Chapter 606 Snape the Grass

Chapter 606 Snape's Wilderness (Third Update!)

With so many Warriors appearing in the market, the biggest consequence is... they've become worthless!

Each of the three schools has one representative, so naturally they are exceptionally beautiful and attract the attention of everyone.

But if there are more than twenty of them, more than the class monitor, then it's not so strange.

Hogwarts is alright; there are many students, and even in each house, like Gryffindor, there are only three champions.

But Beauxbatons and Durmstrang were different.

Each school brought a dozen or so students, wow... more than half of them were warriors.

This brings about many problems.

For example, Maxim waved his hand and said, "Support the warriors of your own school."

But... we don't have enough fans. Even if everyone gets one fan, some brave souls won't get any.

Not to mention some warriors who want to support others.

For example, the famous Hermione saved Paris, and after a year of publicity from the French Ministry of Magic, she became the idol of the entire Beauxbatons School.

Take Furong for example. Just because of her beauty, she has a bunch of brave men who are crying and begging to help her out during the competition.

This is like playing PUBG and being almost in the final circle when you realize your favorite streamer is facing off against you...

True fans will definitely try to sabotage it, and sycophantic fans might even turn into deliverymen and send their level 3 helmets over.

They might also find someone else to expose them.

But back at Hogwarts, the situation is quite different.

The school was divided into departments, and then... it split up.

Each academy only supports its own warriors; all other warriors are... heretics!

And heresy must be defeated!!

Suddenly, it felt like we were back in the days of the Quidditch Cup battle.

Fortunately, there is no Quidditch Cup this year, so the Triwizard Tournament serves as a perfect substitute.

Under the bewildered gazes of Beauxbatons and Durmstrang, the infighting at Hogwarts thus began in earnest.

Surprisingly, Hufflepuff, who always preferred to make a fortune quietly, fired the first shot in their internal strife.

They loudly proclaimed that Cedric was the true champion of Hogwarts, and the others had all cheated.

The reason is quite valid: he is the only true adult wizard, while the other warriors are all minors!

As for Captain Slytherin... he is an adult, but he has repeated a year instead of graduating.

This disgrace to Slytherin is something even the Slytherin themselves wouldn't acknowledge, let alone the badgers!

The usually docile badger suddenly became high-profile, and Gryffindor was not happy about it.

The Warriors are selected based on skill, not age!

Hermione's ability to become a warrior while still a minor only underscores her strength.

Besides, her abilities are widely acknowledged. Otherwise, why don't you go and save Paris and destroy Venice?

Hermione's cult... is the best in the world, no explanation needed!

As for the Weasley brothers, they were indeed overshadowed by Hermione's brilliance.

Like Ron, and the gorilla captain of Slytherin, he was completely ignored by the lion cubs.

Ravenclaw was also unhappy.

Didn't you listen to what Professor Snape said that day? Let me tell you plainly: the Warriors were all William's doing.

And Ravenclaw's champion is Cho, which naturally represents a kind of... designation.

That's right, Stark has already decided that Cho will be the warrior.

Furthermore, Eagle Union has won the House Cup for four consecutive years and the Quidditch Cup for three consecutive years, dominating the entire house and leaving other houses breathless.

Is this fake?

What kind of trash is Gryffindor? They broke the lowest score record last year, and they don't even deserve to be mentioned in relation to the Warriors!

Slytherin opened his mouth, but after looking around, he realized he really didn't have anything to brag about.

Malfoy and Captain Gorilla are both unremarkable warriors.

That won't do. After searching high and low, the only thing I can do is boast about my ancestors.

Who hasn't had a wealthy past? Slytherin is the house that produces the most champions!

It has always been believed that... warriors should belong to the Slytherin.

With internal strife raging, everyone completely ignored the other two schools.

Everyone agreed that the final championship would definitely belong to Hogwarts.

They might pay attention to Krum and Fleur at most, but no one really cared about the ragtag warriors from other schools.

It's as if nobody really cares whether Barbados will break free from the jurisdiction of the British Ministry of Magic.

When people see this news in a small corner of the Daily Prophet, they'll just mutter something like:

Where is Barbados?

This infighting among the four colleges openly extended into the classroom.

McLagan and Marietta started arguing right there in the Transfiguration class, almost coming to blows.

Professor McGonagall was furious. She banged on the blackboard for the seventh time and shouted:

"I'm speaking from up here, and you're speaking from down here. Am I speaking, or are you speaking?!"

"Or you can come up here and I'll go sit down?"

The whole class immediately fell silent, bowing their heads like quails.

Professor Snape took the art of sarcasm to its extreme.

In Potions class, he handed out the assigned paper on moonstone.

Qiu's paper had a long, sharp, black "P" hastily written on the top corner.

Hogwarts grades are divided into six levels: O, E, A, P, D, and T. These represent excellent, good, pass, poor, terrible, and the worst... troll, respectively.

William checked it, and Qiu's paper could barely be given an "A".

To be strict, even giving a P (percentage missing) would be acceptable.

Normally he would just give him an A, but now that it's the Three Kingdoms period, Snape is bound to target him.

He sneered and strode quickly among the students.

"The overall quality of this homework was terrible. For example, our Ravenclaw's 'Warrior,' I thought it would at least get an E."

Is this all the Warriors are capable of?

I'm so disappointed.

Snape looked at Cho with a mocking expression.

"I advise someone to give up on the three-way championship as soon as possible, otherwise they might have to repeat the year next year."

The Ravenclaw students glared at Snape.

Professor Snape, unperturbed, continued:

"If you hand in something like this in your O.W.Ls exam, this is the grade I'm going to give you."

"Therefore, you should all have a clear understanding of yourselves."

He paused for a moment, then said, "Alright, bring out the questions."

Last year, Professor Snape wasted an entire year teaching everyone how to brew wolfsbane and "how to kill werewolves."

This is content that is outside the curriculum and beyond the syllabus.

Having wasted an entire year, everyone's grades were naturally affected.

If this continues, it will definitely affect Snipe's title of having the highest pass rate, so he has also started explaining the written test questions for the first time ever.

However, Professor Snape seemed to lack experience.

"Does this question even need explaining?" he said in a greasy voice as he paced back and forth in the classroom.

"A is obviously wrong! B can be eliminated, and C is clearly not relevant to the question, so the answer is D!"

I'm just wondering, how come so many of you got this question wrong!

"..."

Amidst everyone's bewilderment, Professor Snape quickly scanned the questions.

After class, everyone left the basement classroom looking confused. What was that lesson about?

He seemed to have snapped out of his daze and didn't understand anything.

This is absolutely hilarious!

Even five minutes into the class on protecting magical creatures, Qiu was still complaining about him.

"There's nothing shameful about it, Qiu. It's just a P, a healthy and energetic 'P'," William comforted her.

"But," Qiu's expression was extremely serious, "'P' stands for bad, and if this continues, I definitely won't pass my Potions class..."

"That's because Professor Snape graded us according to the O.W.L. exam standards," William said quickly.

"Although you are a P now, many changes will occur between now and the exam."

You have plenty of time to improve your grades, don't you?

"Hmm, that makes sense." Qiu nodded, resting her chin on her hand. "By the way, William, what were your grades?"

"Oh."

"..."

"Have you two finished discussing, William and Cho?" Hagrid cleared his throat. "We've already had five minutes of class started."

William and Qiu looked up and realized everyone was looking at them, so they quickly shut up.

Hagrid mimicked Professor McGonagall, saying, "If each of you wastes even a minute, the whole class is over!"

"Ravenclaw, deduct two points!"
