A Certain Magical Hogwarts

Chapter 536 Your Majesty, whose concubine will you choose tonight?

On one side of the campsite, there is a large, leafy banyan tree, under which sits a sky-blue tent.

The tent was brightly colored, but it didn't look very big, and apart from the magical animal patterns swimming around on it, it was otherwise unremarkable.

A young girl sat on a thick branch of the large banyan tree.

She held a string of sparkling candy in her left hand and a pair of binoculars in her right.

Instead of looking towards the stadium to peek at the training match, they were gazing at the entrance to the camp.

Nico is really unreliable. He said his brother and Hermione would arrive at this time?

She waited there for a full half hour, but didn't see anyone. Meanwhile, the snacks she bought were almost all gone.

Annie took a bite of the bamboo skewer that resembled sparkling candy.

The fruit is crisp but not greasy, sweet and sour, and the syrup is thick and pale yellow.

She ate the fruit one after another, crunching it crisply. After finishing, she spat out a burst of dazzling sparks that formed a phoenix pattern.

Annie was quick; after only a few bites, there was only one candy left on the skewer.

Just as he was about to take a bite, he noticed four cats crouching beside him, all staring intently at him.

Two of them are orange cats; the big one has a round butt, broad back and thick waist, and is so fat that it's unbelievable.

The smaller ones are gradually growing bigger, and they're starting to resemble the larger ones.

The boba tea was alright, but I was only interested in the dragon pattern; I wasn't really interested in the string of candies.

It hates eating and has anorexia.

What do you mean you don't believe me?

If you're so capable, put some cat food in its mouth, and after one bite it'll no longer be an orange cat!

Compared to her father's boba tea, Annie's pineapple head was much more uninhibited, repeatedly sticking out her tongue and drooling.

It barked twice, but not meowed; instead, it barked.

Quick! Stop your blatant black antics! Remember you're a handsome cat, not a dog!

Don't make any strange noises!

There were two cats nearby, one big and one small, both belonging to Hermione.

Crookshanks have an ugly, persimmon-shaped face, and their tails, like steel brushes, pound against tree trunks; the tortoiseshell-colored Poposha, on the other hand, is much smaller and looks the most ladylike cat.

Anne grinned, revealing a row of neat teeth, then shook her head.

"I won't even give you any. Before I left, Hermione told you guys to lose weight and control your food intake."

She's coming back, so we should symbolically reduce the number of days by one, right?

That way I can confidently say... I've lost weight.

All four cats rolled their eyes in unison.

Annie hummed in response, then stood on the tree and looked around again, but still couldn't see anyone.

She plopped back down on the branch, her two white feet dangling in mid-air, swaying back and forth.

Annie rested her chin on her hand and stared blankly for a while. Feeling a little bored, she blinked her dark green pupils and looked at the four cats.

She repeatedly explained:

"My stupid brother has been kidnapped by that wicked Hermione... They'll never come back, and they don't want you anymore."

From now on, you will all be my cats.

Remember this!

Even if they come back, don't pay them any attention... they won't take us to Italy.

Hmm, be aloof, be indifferent. Unless…”

"Unless you bring back lots of gifts!"

A familiar voice rang out, and a person gently stepped out from behind the banyan tree.

William grinned. He had spotted Anne from afar at the camp over there, so he Apparated and sneaked over.

Bobo Tea was the first to react, letting out a howl as it leaped down from mid-air.

William waved his wand, quickly slowing it down. With the weight of that Bobo Tea, such a high-altitude object... it would either kill him or leave him in a vegetative state.

Hermione also walked out slowly, winked at Anne, and smiled brightly:

"Long time no see, Annie. Hey, you seem to have grown a bit taller, you're almost up to my knees now."

Upon seeing the two who suddenly appeared, Anne couldn't hide her joy and surprise. She was about to speak when Hermione's words choked her up.

She immediately put on a stern face and adopted a cold and aloof demeanor.

But when she looked down again, the little girl was so angry she almost had smoke coming out of her head.

The two of them didn't even look at her; they had already started taking out bags and bags of cat treats.

All four cats betrayed the cats and are now squatting on the ground waiting to be fed.

Especially its own pineapple head, which wags its tail very fast, like a propeller, just like a dog.

Anne put on her sandals and jumped down from the tree.

After the little girl landed, she didn't stand steadily. William reached out and gently grabbed her by the back of her collar, pulling her back slightly, afraid that she might accidentally fall.

Hermione simply reached out and snatched the string of sparkling candy away.

Anne glared at her and held out her hand, saying, "Give it back!"

"Eat too much candy, or you'll get a toothache!" Hermione said with a mischievous grin, finishing off the last skewer of candy.

"I'll fight you to the death!"

Anne puffed out her cheeks and charged toward Hermione. Hermione, holding William, began to circle around the pillar like a king in Chinese mythology.

The two joked around for a while before stopping. Anne then greeted Neville again.

"Why are you alone? Where are the others?" William asked, puzzled.

"Mom and Aunt Emily didn't like Quidditch, so they went to America with Mrs. Perenaar to attend a music festival."

Hearing that Lyanna wasn't there, William inexplicably breathed a sigh of relief. He wouldn't be sent to the Cambridge lab to be dissected by the intern.

"What about the others?"

Anne unwrapped her gifts, holding up a Venetian mask that Hermione had bought, which she seemed quite fond of.

Wearing a mask, she said, "Nico took his dad and Uncle Iris to the stadium to watch a training match. They said the Bulgarian mascot is very interesting."

"..."

Bulgaria's mascot is the Veela, isn't it? So... are they sure they're going to watch Quidditch, not a football game?

William seriously doubted that the three of them could get anything good off with Nicole, that lecher.

No, wait, there might be Grandpa Newt following behind.

Four old men...tsk tsk.

"Mr. Weasley came by earlier, and Ginny saw her father off at the camp. She'll be back in a bit," Anne continued.

"And Luna... she discovered traces of the Curved Horned Snoring Beast's activity."

"I took the dowsing rod you made for me and went to search for it."

"..."

Are you sure you're looking for the Curved-Horned Snoring Beast, and not digging up graves?

After chatting for a while, the group went into the tent together.

The tents in the wizarding world have been greatly enlarged using the Unseen Stretch Charm.

This is especially true of the tent that Nico brought.

It looks very simple from the outside, but once you go inside, it's a huge living room.

The floor was covered with a soft carpet, and there was a long black oak table surrounded by dark sofas made of Russian walnut wood.

Opposite the west wall is a hidden pipe organ, and the four walls are decorated with various works of art.

Typical Nicole style decoration.

"The room is on the second floor," Anne said.

Led by Anne, they first went to Neville's room, and then Hermione's room.

Finally, William went to his room.

Anne took her gift and ran off quickly to find Luna.

William drew back the curtains, and through the huge floor-to-ceiling windows, he could see the view outside.

He froze suddenly.

Because a little further away, there was a tent that looked like a palace.

A gleaming banner hung high between the tents: Iphamoni Magic School.

Outside the tent stood a male wizard, surrounded by many female wizards.

The male wizard looked to be in his early twenties, with a composed demeanor and an elegant air.

Most importantly, that face...it looks seven or eight parts like William's!

Why did Professor Barbling come to the UK from the US?

If she comes, little Tom... won't he come too, will he?

Soon, the bird-snake in William's hand flew up and grew larger in the room.

The sniffle emerged from the bird-snake's mouth, looked at William excitedly, and then pulled a letter from its belly.

William frowned and opened the letter.

The above consists of only a few short sentences:

tonight,

Come to my tent!

Bascida Baburin

William sighed.

Tonks, Fudge, Crouch, Horace... all wanted him to come to their tents tonight.

Now we have Professor Babling.

At night, he still had to stay in his room with Hermione to brew a kidney-nourishing... oops, brain-boosting tonic!

Do you really think he's a time management master who can handle so many people at the same time?

So, among so many people, whose card should I choose tonight...? Do I still need to hesitate?
