Chapter 512 Destroy, foolish humans!
"Where are your tickets?"
Before they even entered the Phoenix Opera House, William and Hermione were stopped by the doorman.
"These are our identification documents."
Hermione pulled her wand from her pocket and shook two blank sheets of paper.
"Here you go." She handed the paper to the doorman, then waved her wand again, "Distract the innocent."
The security guard staggered as if he were drunk, blinked, shook his head, and then focused intently on the blank paper for a while.
"Ah!" he screamed, pointing at William, "You're Corleone, the godfather of the Mafia... coming to set fires..."
William: "..."
The security guard hurriedly jogged over to grab the walkie-talkie from the table.
Hermione hurriedly waved her wand again.
The guard gradually calmed down, stopped, and said in a daze, "Oh, you're from MI6."
He exclaimed in panic, "What? Corleone is inside listening to opera, planning to burn down the La Fenice Opera House later?"
"That's right," William ordered. "Now take us to see the caretaker."
The gatekeeper left in a hurry, with the two men following behind him.
William lowered his voice and instructed, "Hermione, you must be fully focused when casting the Confusion Charm."
Also, the Confusion Charm can only target a single object, so you need to practice the technique.
Otherwise, like just now, the person under the spell will misunderstand your meaning.
The Confusion Charm is a very useful spell, but a powerful Confusion Charm is also very difficult to cast.
When used correctly, it's comparable to the Soul Reaper's Curse, but it's not illegal. Nor does it have the side effects of the Soul Reaper's Curse.
Hermione listened attentively and nodded slightly.
This was the first time she had used the Confusion Charm on a person. William had instructed her before, and she had practiced several times using French civets.
That's right, following the Dementor in black robes, the Spirit Cat has finally become a tool cat as well.
The three of them lived a carefree life for a whole year, spending their days either being cute, eating lots of cat food, or sleeping.
He used to be quite lean, with a beautiful physique and well-defined muscles, but now he looks like Gian.
William then had Hermione practice on them, making them run on a treadmill.
One orange tabby pig is enough for William; he simply can't afford any more.
Upon arriving at the office, the security guard knocked on the door, and after receiving permission, the three of them went inside.
This time, Hermione didn't have to lift a finger; William waved his wand. The administrator didn't make any big movements, just glanced around briefly, then stood up enthusiastically.
"Mr. Stark!"
An Italian man walked over with a beaming smile.
"Hello, my name is Milshat," he said, his accented English full of enthusiasm. He was thin, balding, wore scholarly glasses, and a gray shirt.
"Are there really mafia members at the opera house?"
“That’s right,” William said, shaking Milshat’s hand. “Forgive us for coming in such a hurry, but we must get to work now.”
"Of course!" Milshat said without the slightest doubt.
"Is there a lagoon under the opera house?" Hermione asked.
"A lagoon?" He pondered for a moment, then shook his head. "No."
"Are there any deep wells or reservoirs?"
Milshat pondered for a moment, then nodded and said, "There is indeed a very old underground well that hasn't been used for many years. It is said to lead to the underground water supply in Venice."
"Can you take us there?"
"What does this have to do with the Mafia?" the administrator asked, confused.
William waved his wand and said, "The explosives are hidden there."
Milshat said nothing more and walked deeper into the opera house.
Everyone walked quickly across a small open space, past the regular tourist entrance, and continued forward to a secluded entrance hall.
There are three sunken archways here, dark and without any light.
"Right here, follow the left archway to the end, there's a small room that used to be used for fetching water, but it was abandoned later."
Milshat handed over a rusty key, which William took, saying, "Leave this to us."
Milshart turned and left, while William and Hermione continued along the archway.
Sure enough, at the end of the road, a small house appeared.
William inserted the key, but before he could turn it, it broke off in the lock due to rust.
"Let me do it." Hermione picked up her wand and aimed it at the keyhole.
"The Arahomon Opens!"
The dilapidated door was opened, and the two entered the room.
William raised his wand, and a ray of light illuminated the dark space.
The room was covered in dust, with a well in the center. The sound of water flowing over the stones and cascading upwards was as clear as day.
"How do we get down?" Hermione bent down and looked down into the well.
The well's entrance is narrow, allowing only one person to pass at a time, making it unsuitable for gondola use.
"Use gill sac grass instead," she suggested.
William nodded slightly.
There is a dragon below, and neither the gondola nor the bubble head curse is safe.
He took two gray-green plants out of the safety watch.
This is what I got from Nymeria when I left.
He handed Hermione a plant, and William swallowed one himself.
The taste was very strange, slippery, like octopus tentacles.
"I'll go down first. It's safe there. You can come down after that." William took off his shoes and jumped into the well.
After falling into the icy water, only a few seconds later, he felt two narrow cracks appear below his ears.
It opens and closes in the water... just like gills!
Water flows smoothly through the gills, delivering oxygen to the brain.
William glanced down; his hands appeared somewhat greenish underwater, with webbed fingers.
Its legs have grown longer, and webbed toes have appeared... It looks like a cute little Psyduck.
After a while, Hermione also jumped down.
"Walk!"
The two entwined in the water for a while, like two mermaids, and swam towards the depths of the lagoon.
……
……
In the darkness, a huge rock floats in the sea.
The sound echoed like thunder, coming from some enormous monster, a snoring sound.
A huge white dragon lay on the rock, sleeping undisturbed.
The white dragon folded its wings and lay on the ground like an enormous bat.
A trickle of liquid oozed from its sharp teeth and nostrils; while it slept, the flow of water in its belly was not so fast.
The white dragon suddenly opened its eyes, sensing a familiar presence approaching.
Merlin's goblet!
The white dragon raised its head and was surprised to find that the magic that had been binding it during its slumber... had vanished!
Seven hundred years ago, because of human arrogance, the white dragon escaped from the goblet.
But after submerging an island, it was once again trapped underwater by a cup.
The magical restraints have suddenly vanished. Who broke the spell?!
Bai Long didn't know.
But it could clearly sense the Holy Grail approaching. Was another wizard preparing to trap it?
The white dragon coiled its body and let out a thunderous roar.
It wants to completely destroy the Holy Grail and send Merlin to hell!
The white dragon slapped the water with its steel-like wings, bent its head back, and spewed out jets of water.
It spread its wings and flew upwards along the deep seabed. When it flapped its wings, the flowing water instantly turned into steam.
Destroy, wizard!
Destroy, humanity!
Destroy the world!
……
……
Deep beneath the St. Mark's Campanile,
The light of the curse continued to shine.
"You are no match for me, Trinity." Martell broke the spell and laughed loudly. "You don't really think I was unprepared, do you?"
Treyne waved her wand, and a red whip lashed through the air, but the fallen infernal rose from the ground again.
She even saw many familiar faces.
They were all wizards adopted by Martell and tasked with carrying out missions for him.
But Martell used dark magic to turn them all into undead.
"Give me the Goblet of Fire right now," Martell said coldly. "I might spare your life..."
"And then turn me into an infernal too?" Treni shouted.
Martell waved his wand, directing the Infernals to continue their attack.
Teresa was immediately overwhelmed.
Just then, a deafening roar came from the distant depths of the underground.
It was as if a tsunami had struck.
Martell's expression changed, and he exclaimed in horror, "Damn it, how did that monster wake up...?"
Trinity tossed a wine glass over: "Here you go!"
Taking advantage of Martell's brief pause, she tilted her wand, blasting open a hole, and jumped towards the underground lake.
Martel happily accepted the cup, but his expression changed.
This Goblet of Fire is... fake!
At the bottom of the cup, there is also a row of small printed words:
Made in England!
1994!
Where did Trinity hide the real Goblet of Fire?!
