A Certain Magical Hogwarts

Chapter 425 We are half-brothers!

Chapter 425 We are half-brothers!

One of the most important rules in the magical world:

Don't easily trust magical items you don't understand.

Having experienced countless telecommunications scams in his previous life, William's vigilance is probably among the highest in the magical world.

Not to mention, Tom's diary was secretly causing trouble last semester, making everyone uneasy.

So the crown begins by saying that it is the will of Ravenclaw.

This is basically equivalent to: I, Ravenclaw, am sending you money!

An ordinary wizard might believe it, but how could William believe it?

They might as well just say it's Voldemort's Horcrux. That would be more believable.

Besides, a dead Dementor is a good Dementor. William killed the Maximal first, then took the crown and let the headmaster inspect it.

This is the normal procedure; there's no need to waste time with all this nonsense.

Before the dust had settled, William grasped his wand in his right hand and gently waved it.

With each swing, a silver eagle soars into the air from the tip of the staff, circling around to one side.

In the blink of an eye, there appeared the Thirteen Guardian Gods.

William gripped his wand, made a fancy aiming motion, brought two fingers together, and then tapped them in the air.

boom!

Thirteen eagles stretched out in a line, like a tidal wave crashing against the shore, heading straight into the spot where the Dementors had disappeared.

The dust has not yet settled

The dust is rising again!

The entire garbage heap was smashed, creating a huge gap, followed by more than a dozen rapid, muffled sounds.

William kept his eyes straight ahead, waiting patiently for the Dementors to come out and die.

When the Dementor emerged, it looked extremely dejected, but showed no intention of retreating.

It appears to be more resistant to Patronus Charms than a regular Dementor.

Is it because it absorbed too many of its own kind, or is it due to the damage reduction buff from the crown?

William had no idea. At this moment, the two were several meters apart. He flicked his wand slightly, drawing an arc and shooting out a purple crescent-shaped light.

The Dementor spewed out black mist, but it only held out for a moment before being torn apart by the purple light.

Another loud bang!

The man in the black robe stumbled backward, but this time he slid backward, sliding seven or eight meters before finally stopping his retreat.

Although still in a sorry state, it was much better than before.

William gestured for Hermione to pass on the fire. Ordinary magic was just for fun; to deal with Dementors, they'd have to rely on the little phoenix.

He suddenly regretted not having Fox come and help out tonight.

"Give me the power you devour, give me your life, give me everything...!"

A hissing sound echoed in the Dementor's ears.

"Do not resist, my servant!"

A pair of eyes appeared on the rusty crown.

Soon, the blood-red eyes shifted to the Dementor's face.

The Dementor's face was covered with a layer of pale new skin, as white as if it had been coated with BB cream.

The face appeared to have been burned; the features were blurred and strangely distorted. The whites of the eyes were filled with blood.

"Voldemort?!" William exclaimed in horror.

"Little wizard, do you know me?" A hoarse voice came from the Dementor's mouth.

Merlin's pectoral muscles are truly Horcruxes of the Dark Lord!

William did recognize the ugly face; it looked very similar to the face on the back of Quirrell's head.

It just doesn't look like a snake; its eyes aren't red enough, and its pupils aren't two lines.

This suggests that this Horcrux may have been made in the middle to later stages, but it was not the last one.

"Tell me everything you know, son." Voldemort's tone suddenly softened, as if afraid of scaring William away.

"This kind of strength that doesn't match his age... is very similar to me when I was young."

Are you pureblood?... Tell me about your family, I might know them.

The Horcrux began to try and get closer to him. However, Voldemort's prejudice against bloodlines made him stubbornly believe that William was definitely a pure-blood, not a Muggle.

"My name is Draco Malfoy, Lord Dark Lord," William said, making things up.

"Malfoy...who is Abraxas Malfoy to you?"

"It's my grandfather."

Voldemort suddenly shouted:

"You're lying... Malfoys all have light blond hair."

"That's because my father, Lucius Malfoy, married my mother, Arthur Weasley."

"Then, his hair turned dark brown," William said seriously.

"From a genetic point of view, this is possible, as hair color is determined by genes."

The genes that determine gold and red are called alleles by Muggles; if they are not passed down, the color will change.

Voldemort was completely confused.

William, in the tone of a top student caring for someone with intellectual disabilities, asked, "Do you understand? If you don't, I'll explain this question again. Don't pretend you understand."

If you really understand, let me ask one more question: after determining my hair color, if I have a younger sister, what is the probability that she will have light blonde hair?

Voldemort: "..."

William wasn't just making things up; he had at least gleaned some information. This Horcrux was likely created before the 1970s.

Otherwise, there's no reason why one wouldn't recognize Lucius and would immediately think of his ancestor Abraxas Malfoy.

While it's impossible to conduct a specific C14 test, it's certain that this is an artwork from before the 1970s, created after Mr. Voldemort had reached the pinnacle of his magical abilities.

Its completeness goes without saying, and it has a higher collection value than a diary.

The Dark Lord didn't believe William's words, but he didn't expose them either; what he needed was information.

"Tell me... how is the greatest Dark Lord of all time doing?"

Like a diary, the crown shows immense concern for one's future self.

"The Dark Lord is dead." William instantly became a drama queen.

"He died saving Harry Potter, taking the Avada Kedavra pill for Harry... He died a glorious and noble death."

"Nonsense! The Dark Lord can't be dead," Crown shrieked.

"The Dark Lord has conducted experiments and has pushed magic to an unprecedented level."

"Isn't it just a Horcrux?" William scoffed.

"How did you know?!" Voldemort roared. "Who told you? What else do you know?"

"You told me yourself." William put on that silly badger-like expression again.

An honest and simple smile.

"Tom, your original self and I, Draco Malfoy, are best buddies."

"You told me everything, including the Horcruxes!" William said with a smug look on his face.

"We're... half-brothers!"

Hermione wanted to laugh but didn't dare, feeling a little uncomfortable holding it in. She gripped one end of her wand tightly, also feeling somewhat worried.

That's the Dark Lord! William just "teased" him like that?

"You're asking for it!"

Even though you can't see how the Dementor's lips open, you can still hear a faint sound emanating from its throat, which is terrifying.

"Once I catch you and give you a Dementor's kiss, everything will be clear!" The soul was furious, its killing intent surging.

The Dementor roared, and black mist seeped from its body, clinging to the crown in wisps.

It was shrinking at a visible rate, and the black mist was becoming increasingly dense.

Voldemort took over the Dementor's body, slowly floated off the ground, spread his hands forward, bent his middle fingers, and began casting spells without a staff.

As the Dementor slightly bent its finger, a black python emerged from its fingertip.

A hissing snake-like voice rang out, and the black python lunged menacingly towards them.

"All curses have ended!"

William gripped the wand with both hands and held it in front of him.

Magic surged, creating ripples.

This eventually forms a wide, thick mirror-like surface, like a pot of fire that has been lifted and then removed, but the fire remains suspended in the air.

A mirror as tall as a person was pressed firmly against the ferocious head of that enormous python.

Voldemort in his Horcrux form is still incredibly powerful.

but,

How does it compare to the original body attached to Quirrell?

How does it compare to Little Tom, who planned for a whole year?

A Horcrux without a wand, relying solely on Dementors, thinks it can stir up trouble?

Times have changed, adults!

William pressed his wand down.

Between the mirrors, light bursts forth.

The python, like a big black dog forced to eat dog food by its head, slammed headfirst into the floor without any resistance.

The floor was instantly smashed open, creating a huge crater, and the black python exploded.

A strong, fierce wind blew in, causing William and Hermione's hair to flutter backward.

William didn't care at all. He strode forward, transformed into a sea eagle, and suddenly soared into the air.

The next moment, it appeared in front of the Dementor and pounced on it, knocking it to the ground.

"William!" Hermione cried out. "Wand!"

William waved his wand and shouted, "Wand, come here!"

Three or four wands of unknown material slipped from Hermione's hand and fell into William's.

These are spoils of war seized when a werewolf was killed in France.

The tips of all the wands, as if wasting their precious resources, ignited Fawkes's flames.

"A Dementor's kiss? You think you can kiss me?"

"You don't deserve it!"

William, holding the wand, plunged it all into the Dementor's mouth, where it twisted and mashed.

"Protect the Gods!"

A dozen or so fiery, crimson-gold eagles flew out of the wand and rained down on the Dementor's mouth.

The dust has settled.

William emerged from the ruins, lightly shaking his robe and kicking up a cloud of dust.

The crown, which carried Voldemort's soul, was kicked forward and rolled away.
