A Certain Magical Hogwarts

Chapter 421 Professor Lu Ping's Identity

Chapter 421 Professor Lu Ping's Identity (Second Update (410))

Unlike other rooms, the Defense Against Dark Magic office has no specific decorating style.

In just the last few years, there have been four different styles.

Tywin's library-style decor filled with books; Quirrell's retro vampire theme with garlic everywhere; Lockhart's flamboyant personal photo exhibition...

Doesn't it give you a strange feeling of checking into a couples-themed hotel and doing role-playing?

However, those who know the inside story wouldn't want to live here.

Because it is not clean at all.

In the time loop, Tywin Lannister died a horrible death on the toilet.

Voldemort and Quirrell spent almost a year living together happily here;

Lockhart is here, and he had an unspeakable affair with the dwarves...

No normal person would want to live there, right?

Unfortunately, Professor Lu Ping was unaware of this; he had been tricked into coming, and he was short of money... really short of money.

After receiving his salary, he didn't renovate the office; he just went for a minimalist style... He didn't renovate at all.

Now it might need some decoration, to be dyed a brilliant red by Ron's blood, the same color as his hair.

The executioner was, of course, Professor Snape, who had seen the photograph.

He clenched his fists tightly and asked, "Weasley, where did this come from?"

"I took these myself, it has nothing to do with anyone else, so lock me up in solitary confinement!" Ron said defiantly, his head held high.

"Solitary confinement?" Professor Snape quickly walked up to Ron, their faces only a centimeter apart.

Snape straightened Ron's collar and whispered:

"I'm afraid you'll have to go home and be put in solitary confinement. Last semester, you and Potter took a private car and crashed into Professor Lupin's 'favorite' Whomping Willow."

Professor Snape's voice became strained and clenched.

"You couldn't resist showing off again this semester and insulted the professor... You're definitely going to be fired."

"Professor Snape, there might be a problem here..." Harry said, forcing himself to speak.

Before he could finish speaking, Snape abruptly interrupted him, "Shut up, Potter! You're involved too. You didn't know he made it?!"

"You two are inseparable, always glued together, like conjoined twins."

A wicked glint flashed in Snape's eyes as he sneered, "Just like your father—Potter and Brock…"

"Professor Snape, that's enough!" Lupin interrupted loudly.

"Enough? Not enough!" Snape waved his wand, and the photograph shattered into pieces.

He raised his wand again and aimed it at Ron.

Lupin immediately dragged Ron behind him, wand in hand, and shouted:

"Relax, Snape, Mr. Weasley is just a junior wizard, we never point wands at junior wizards..."

Harry rushed over and hugged Ron, urging him to apologize.

"Very well, three against one? Very well!" Snape said with an ugly smile, "Come on, I won't call you despicable, but that's what happens when you're Gryffindor."

boom!

The door was opened again.

At this tense moment, Dumbledore walked in.

His expression was unusually serious, and his stern gaze followed the broken, curved bridge of his nose as he looked at the crowd.

Snape and Lupin both put down their wands.

"Tsk tsk, Weasley, the one who can fire you has arrived." Snape's face showed a hint of pleasure.

"Your Halloween party is going to be canceled forever."

"Not yet, Professor Snape," said Dumbledore. "Mr. Weasley cannot be expelled yet."

Snape's expression froze, as if he had heard that his Halloween dinner had been canceled.

He was furious and roared, "Professor Dumbledore, this student has repeatedly violated school rules!"

"To dare to do something like this now... to insult a professor... this kind of behavior is of course..."

"It wasn't Mr. Weasley who did it," Dumbledore said. "Of course, we must also make him understand the seriousness of his actions..."

Professor Snape remained unmoved.

"Let's go to my office first. Come on." Dumbledore's eyes glanced towards a corner.

After everyone left, the office door was closed.

Two figures slowly emerged; it was William and Hermione.

They slipped in as Marcus and Ron entered. Nobody noticed.

The two sat in their chairs, still reminiscing about the conflict that had just occurred.

Just as Harry said: they almost ended up embroiled in a firefight.

Hermione exclaimed, "Professor Dumbledore must know we're there!"

"Obviously," William shrugged, "my Disillusionment Charm isn't strong enough for Professor Dumbledore to miss."

Indeed, Dumbledore is the eternal god.

William sniffed the air and asked, "Can you smell a rotting corpse?"

In an instant, William felt a chill run down his spine and was utterly terrified.

Did Professor Lu Ping kill someone and hide the body in his office?

Hermione covered her nose and pointed to the table, where a wine glass sat, steaming slightly.

As William and Hermione approached, the stench of decay emanated from the potion.

William squinted, examining the potion's color. His eyes widened, and he exchanged a glance with Hermione, exclaiming in shock, "Wolfsbane!"

It is indeed wolfsbane medicine. William has manufactured it many times, so it's impossible for him to be mistaken.

However, a special substance was added to it, which made the taste... disgusting, while ensuring the efficacy of the medicine.

Only Professor Snape could do something like that.

"Who's this for?" Hermione asked, puzzled. "Could it be Professor Lupin?"

"It can only be him, he's a werewolf," William said suddenly. "Don't forget, Harry said Professor Snape came to deliver potions to Lupin."

"That's what Mischievous Ghost just said too."

No wonder Snape has been unusually teaching about Wolfsbane Potion this semester... He's deliberately hinting at it.

"Professor Snape knew Lupin was a werewolf, yet he still brewed potions for him?" Hermione found it hard to believe.

"It must be Professor Dumbledore's order," William said softly. "Professor Lupin couldn't be teaching here without the Headmaster's permission."

"But..." Hermione said breathlessly, "Has the headmaster gone mad? Werewolves are so dangerous, what if it's a full moon..."

Hermione shut up because Professor Snape had already brewed the wolfsbane potion.

William thought about it more deeply.

Dumbledore knew Lupin was a werewolf, yet he still let him teach, which can only mean one thing: in the headmaster's mind, Lupin was trustworthy.

Of course, it's also possible that they'd find an excuse to use the curse of black magic defense... to kill him.

Knowing that Lupin was a werewolf, William calmed down and wasn't too upset.

Dumbledore has done many outrageous things, and boldly hiring teachers has always been his style.

William and Hermione discussed it for a while and decided to keep it a secret.

William glanced at the time and said, "We should be back from Hogsmeade by now."

The two leaned against the window and looked outside. A row of carriages had stopped in front of the castle.

"It's us!" Hermione said, pointing into the distance.

In front of the castle,

The crowd was full of people.

William was explaining the fish feast to Hermione.

He suddenly looked up and stared at the window of the Defense Against the Dark Arts office on the third floor of the castle.

Cedric broke free from William's arm and curiously looked in that direction as well.

"What's wrong?" Hermione asked quietly from the side.

"I saw something strange, maybe I was just seeing things," William shook his head.

He thought he saw himself and Hermione... leaning against the window.

How is that possible!

It's not a good sign to start hallucinating at such a young age.

My body is too weak; it seems I need to buy some Liuwei Dihuang Pills to nourish myself properly.
