A Certain Magical Hogwarts
Chapter 415 Dumbledore's Fishing Plan
Chapter 415 Dumbledore's Fishing Plan
The garden was dilapidated and overgrown with weeds.
A small head peeked out from the vine, and then another head followed suit, sneaking out as well.
A stray dog, belonging to someone in the distance, barked twice before its two heads darted back into the distance.
Listening closely, they realized it was a false alarm, and the head that had been the first to peek out boldly reappeared.
Ginny crouched down and asked in a low voice, "Annie, are William and Hermione still there?"
"Looks like she's gone. We shook her off. Hermione even said she was a great runner... Is that all?"
Annie looked around, then squatted down and quickly swallowed the half-melted ice cream in a few bites.
Luna stood beside the bags and packages, slowly counting the snacks.
Despite being chased so closely, none of the three were willing to discard these "burdens," insisting on carrying them on their backs and moving forward with heavy loads.
that's true!
I spent a lot of Galleons to buy it, and it's even more difficult to sneak it out. If I lose it, I'll probably be heartbroken.
"Let's stay here for a while before we go out," Anne said. "My brother and Hermione must be looking for us."
"Let's go somewhere else," Ginny said, pulling her robe tighter. "This area is a bit eerie and scary, I'm a little scared, Annie."
The three little ones had just run away in a panic and hadn't paid attention to their surroundings, so now they could take their time to observe:
The dilapidated triangular house had wooden planks nailed to the windows and was surrounded by weeds. Even in broad daylight, it was unsettling to look at.
Luna's eyes bulged outwards, as if she were meditating. After a moment, she clapped her hands and said:
"I know where I am... the Screaming Shack where fairies and ghosts live!"
"Fairies and ghosts?" Annie exclaimed in surprise.
"Yes, 'Singing the Quibbles' featured it in an episode." Luna started spouting strange and unusual knowledge again.
"Minister Fouché would order others to assassinate the fairies and dump their bodies in the screaming shack."
Those legendary ghosts are actually fairies and spirits.
"Let's leave quickly." Hearing Luna say this, Ginny felt like she was listening to a bedtime horror story, and she became even more frightened.
"Nick, who almost lost his head, also told me that a group of terrifying people live here..."
"This is where Fudge's vault is hidden, and maybe even the horn of the Curved-Horned Snoring Beast. Let's go look for it before we leave."
As she spoke, Luna headed towards the small building. Annie followed.
The three stood at the entrance of the screaming shack, peeking inside through the gaps in the wooden planks.
The hazy glass blocked their view, and they couldn't see anything clearly.
Ginny suddenly screamed in alarm.
"What's wrong?" Annie was startled.
"A ghost... I just saw a blurry shadow in that glass," Ginny said fearfully.
"Let's go quickly."
The three had just turned around when another scream rang out. A blue and white will-o'-the-wisp skull hung in mid-air, startling Ginny so much that she fell to the ground with a thud.
"Watch this... my brother taught me a very effective spell... he said it's easy to deal with ghosts."
Annie gathered her energy, exhaled, and performed a series of movements, forming hand seals. She then called out in a clear, sweet voice, "Great Mighty Heavenly Dragon, World Honored Ksitigarbha..."
The will-o'-the-wisp skeleton exploded with a bang.
The little girl patted her chest, smiled triumphantly, and turned to say, "It really works!"
Ginny's hand trembled as she pointed behind Anne. The little girl turned her head and was startled.
The will-o'-the-wisp did not disappear; instead, it burst and spread in the air, like lotus flowers blooming.
Annie, realizing she'd been tricked, was so angry her nose almost twisted. She pulled out her wand and roared:
"Torn apart!"
With a muffled bang, the flames did not disappear. After exploding several meters away, they transformed into two fluttering colorful butterflies and flew towards the girl.
Anne quickly stepped back, blocking Ginny and Luna.
The fire butterfly disappeared, turning into three thick, long ropes that coiled like dragons, wrapping tightly around the three little ones from their ankles to their chests.
The next moment, the three 'caterpillars' were suspended in mid-air, hanging on the withered vine tree.
Two figures slowly emerged; William had his hands in his pockets and was grinning like a fox.
"Damn it, let us go!" Annie cried.
Ginny didn't scream; instead, she felt relieved. As long as it wasn't a ghost, being tied up wasn't a big deal.
Luna opened her eyes wide, seemingly suddenly drawn to the rope. She swung the swing slightly, making a pendulum motion, and had a great time.
William waved his wand, and several pebbles transformed into a round wooden table and two chairs.
The two sat down, William leaning slightly forward, his elbows resting on the edge of the table, a smirk playing on his lips.
"Well, a second-year wizard has appeared in Hogsmeade."
Even as a second-grader, I stayed at school obediently and never did anything so outrageous!
Hermione stared at William in shock. Hadn't he done enough outrageous things in his second year?!
On the first night of the week, he went to the fourth floor restricted area and took away most of the items from the checkpoints. Could it have been someone else who did it?
William ignored Hermione's little glance and continued, "I think Professor McGonagall would be happy to deduct points from your grades and put you in solitary confinement."
How about one person losing 250 points? Tsk tsk, two idiots, Gryffindor is going to break a record.
"Alright, stop scaring them," Hermione said reproachfully.
She was actually more heartbroken about her Gryffindor house points. No matter how hard she tried, she couldn't lose as many as Professor Snape had.
Anne glared at William, then blinked her eyes and looked at Hermione pitifully.
Although he didn't get along with Hermione, he had no choice but to ask her for help in this situation, since his brother favored her.
What is dignity?
Feel sorry,
No.
To everyone's surprise, Hermione smiled, bent down gently, and picked up the three large bags of snacks.
Each package has a label with the name written on it.
Hermione found two small packages labeled "Brother" and "Hermione" in Anne's package.
"Oh my, you even bought us gifts! That's amazing!" William laughed. "Since they're a gift for us, we won't be polite."
Anne swung the rope, threatening, "If you don't let us down, I'm not sending you off."
William didn't even look up and said, "Fine, I was planning to only eat the snacks they gave me, but now I'll eat yours too."
Anne immediately said, "Then I won't give them to you next time."
The implication is... it's a gift again this time.
William smiled warmly, his eyes gentle, and with a wave of his wand, he put the three little ones down.
Upon landing, the little girl immediately jumped for joy and snatched her large bag of snacks back with her claws outstretched.
Then, in a treacherous act, he made a face at Hermione.
"Tell me, how did you get here?" William asked.
Annie, who had been taught a fake spell, was angry and ignored her brother.
"We flew here," Ginny lied, having already rehearsed her story.
William looked at Ginny thoughtfully and smiled, "I know... George told you about the secret passage, didn't he?"
The three of them were completely taken aback.
In the morning, George was called away by Ginny for a while, presumably to inquire about the secret passage to Hogsmeade.
The twins have always been fond of adventure and breaking school rules.
Now that I see my sister Ginny being so "ambitious," breaking school rules in second grade to go to Hogsmeade, I'm overjoyed... how could I not tell them?
He's dozens of Percy's better than Ron!
As for which secret passage they took...
There are seven secret passages leading to Hogsmeade Village.
Filch knew four of them, and each of those four exits was guarded by Dementors, making them impassable.
The path behind the mirror on the fifth floor leads to the Hogwarts underground palace and also connects to the sewer pipes, creating a complex and intricate layout.
To prevent any mishaps, Dumbledore set up a spell last semester to prevent young wizards from passing through.
There's another secret passage leading to the Screaming Shack, but there's a Whomping Willow at the entrance... George couldn't possibly tell them about this way.
Then it can only be the statue of the one-eyed old woman, because that road leads directly to the Honey Duke's cellar and is the safest.
They must have taken this route.
But the problem isn't there; it's that the Marauder's Map is created by the Marauders.
After viewing the memories Dumbledore had obtained, William discovered last semester that the Raiders were actually James and his three companions.
In other words, Black and Lupin both knew about these secret passages. Professor Dumbledore knew even more, for example, that the Whomping Willow was planted at the headmaster's behest.
But the principal had no intention of sealing off the secret passage; he deliberately left it open.
Is he trying to get Blake into school?
After all, it's only when they're on their own turf that they can carry out the arrest.
A reverse encirclement with three sides missing one... Dumbledore is also a veteran of the Legalist school.
Or,
Professor Dumbledore has begun a new round of "tests" in an attempt to train the boy who survived the ordeal.
Do you want him to catch Blake himself?
