A Certain Magical Hogwarts

Chapter 405 Little girl, I see you have extraordinary talent.
Biological anatomy and structure were not William's area of expertise.
Even Anne knew more than him, because she had been influenced by Lyanna and learned a lot of strange and wonderful things.
However, William did do some research on centaurs.
The library has a drawing of the golden ratio anatomy of a centaur, modeled after Leonardo da Vinci's Vitruvian Man.
According to the anatomical diagram, the centaur retained the thoracic cavity of a human and the abdominal cavity of a horse.
At the connection point in the middle, there is a thick supporting diaphragm that divides the space.
The centaur had longer lungs, a bulky digestive system, and retained the 12 pairs of ribs of a human and the 18 pairs of ribs of a horse.
It also has two large hearts.
Similarly, centaurs also retained two lactation systems.
However, the available information is limited, which hinders the wizards' further understanding of the centaurs.
A lack of understanding leads to a generation gap, and a generation gap represents estrangement.
William's intention in recognizing the other party was purely academic research, aiming to enhance wizards' understanding of centaurs, without any other ulterior motives!
This is a noble act that transcends vulgarity.
Besides, this centaur attacked them the moment they met...it's clearly a Black Horseman. William wants to take her back to Hogwarts and interrogate her carefully to see if she's a Death Eater!
But as soon as William approached the centaur woman, she gave in, shouting, "Don't hit me! Don't hit me! I'm here to make a deal for Ronan..."
William frowned, but didn't put down his wand. "You know Ronan?"
Ronan is a centaur with red hair and a red beard. Compared to the aloof Ferrenzer and the centaur leader Baine who is hostile to wizards, he is undoubtedly much easier to get along with.
Ronan was also very interested in the wizards' alchemy and was William's closest centaur friend.
The two also reached a cross-species strategic partnership.
Ronan secretly led his friends to collect various raw materials from the Forbidden Forest, while William handled the centralized purchase and sale.
There's much more room for maneuver here.
You see, what William paid Ronan was Galleons, which were useless to centaurs. Ronan would then use the money to buy all sorts of strange and unusual items from William.
In the end, the money went around in circles and ended up back in William's hands.
Is this a promising industry chain, or is it a form of cultural invasion?
The centaurs were so isolated, and their civilization was entirely self-contained, making them perfectly capable of self-sufficiency.
William had no choice but to resort to this method to entice the restless young centaurs and make them interested in the outside world.
The younger generation is interested in the outside world, and their leader, Bain, a witch-hating figure, will be ousted sooner or later.
Of course, William didn't expect centaurs to integrate into the wizarding world; otherwise, in a future generation, a centaur might point at a young wizard and yell:
"This is our centaur school, get out of Hogwarts!"
Then William would be the sinner of the wizard.
"Hey, let me go right now!" the centaur struggled for a moment and shouted again.
"You're Ronan's daughter? How come I didn't know he had such a grown daughter?" William scrutinized the other person.
"I'm his sister!" the centaur said angrily, stomping her hoof.
"You're Ronan's sister?" William was extremely surprised.
"How is that possible? His sister, Huowen, isn't even an adult yet?"
"Yeah, so what? I'm only sixteen!"
Fire Kiss puffed out her chest, looking haughty, as if she was angry that William had looked down on her.
William certainly didn't underestimate him. That magnificent and awe-inspiring aura almost made him awaken his Mangekyou Sharingan. How could he dare to underestimate him in the slightest?
He stared at it intently for a minute, then exclaimed inwardly, "This guy's sixteen?!"
If Ronan were here, he would definitely say, "Nobody believes me, not even me!"
"Then why did you attack us?" William asked.
"No, I didn't intend to attack you. My arrow was aimed at the wind chimes," Fire Kiss quickly explained.
"Didn't you stop that black-robed wizard during the Battle of the Forbidden Forest two years ago? Everyone says you're very powerful. I just wanted to test your skills."
"Really, I swear in the name of the chief!"
A sly glint appeared in the girl's eyes.
William rolled his eyes. So what if he swore in Bain's name? He often swore in Tom's name too.
However, since Fire Kiss is Ronan's sister, William would never lay a hand on her.
He waved his wand, breaking the spell on Fire Kiss.
"Don't attack a wizard randomly next time; it's dangerous."
"Thank you, you are such a kind-hearted wizard!" Firekiss said sincerely.
"I heard from Ronan that some dark wizards, when they encounter centaurs, think about capturing us for research... You didn't have that thought just now, did you?"
William cleared his throat and said with a righteous expression, "Absolutely not, I swear on the name of my best friend Tom Riddle."
"Okay, it's alright now."
William turned around and gestured to Hermione and Anne.
Firebeard strides excitedly toward the carriage, looking like a country bumpkin who has never seen the world, touching and exploring everything.
Hermione and Anne looked at the centaur with curiosity.
Hermione glanced at Firekiss's body, then looked down at herself, lost in thought.
Anne couldn't help but sigh. The centaurs really were living in dire straits, without even clothes.
How pitiful.
She was wondering if she had any clothes that fit the girl.
Definitely not. With the size of the Fire Kiss, it would have burst through directly.
"Where's Ronan? Why isn't he here?" William asked as he approached.
Huowen was touching the carriage when she gently broke off the water droplet beast on the carriage roof.
Firebeard's gaze drifted, and he casually placed his hand on it to prevent it from slipping off. It was as if nothing had happened.
"They went out. That wretched Thunderbird left the Forbidden Forest, so Bain led everyone to check out the Thunderbird's nest," Firekiss explained.
"Did the Thunderbirds leave the Forbidden Forest?"
This was probably the best news William had heard recently; no wonder they hadn't attacked him.
It's good that you've left; it's best if you never come back.
"What's in the deal?" William asked.
Fire Kiss tossed a ring over, which she deliberately dropped on the ground.
Taking advantage of the fact that the three people's attention was diverted, Fire Kiss quickly hid the Water Drop Beast on the top of the carriage.
William picked up the ring, and Hermione pulled out a list of herbs to help with the inventory.
After the two inspected the goods, Hermione took out Galonnaise, stored it in the ring, and handed it back to Kiss Fire.
Prices are clearly marked, and there is no haggling or dispute between the two parties.
"I don't want fairy gold, I want alchemical items!" Fire Kiss shouted.
"That was a deal between me and Ronan; you were just the errand boy," William shook his head.
"Give the Galon to Ronan, and he'll naturally exchange it for alchemical items when he comes to me next time."
"I brought quite a few Heartbreak Worms with me; exchange these for gold separately." Fire Kiss pulled out a package.
The heartbreak bug is a gray flying insect whose molasses can be used to make an antidote.
"Okay." William asked Hermione to count the items.
"Ronan also promised to give me a running fee, which I can deduct from this gold," Fire Kiss said seriously.
"Oh, I see. How much money do you have?" William asked after a moment's thought.
"He said one nat... how much gold is one nat worth?" Firekiss asked blankly.
"..." Is this how older brothers lie to their younger brothers (sisters) these days?
The twins tricked Ron into helping them sell Professor Snape's photo albums, offering him only one nut for every five copies, in order to mitigate risk.
The same goes for Ronan.
He's really my brother.
As expected, the spirit of sabotaging one's siblings never stops.
William's eyes darted around, and he suddenly said:
"Firekish, I see that you have extraordinary talent and are a rare magical prodigy. The task of maintaining world peace will fall on your shoulders in the future."
"It's a rare coincidence that we're destined to meet. I'll sell you this legendary magic manual at a bargain price. What do you say?"
William pulled out Professor Lockhart's book series.
Breaking Up with a Female Ghost, Traveling with a Ghoul, Vacationing with a Female Demon...
