A Certain Magical Hogwarts

Chapter 391 I object to this marriage!

Chapter 391 I object to this marriage!

It rained from the sky, and then it rained fish.

So Hogwarts had an extra lunch.

Fishing with electricity is illegal, but there is no such rule in the Hogwarts school rules.

Therefore, William not only did not violate school rules, but also effectively alleviated the problem of fish overpopulation in Black Lake, saving the school a lunch fee.

Professor McGonagall decided to eat fish from Black Lake for every meal... for the next two weeks.

As for whether the students will get tired of the food... not at all. Look how happy everyone is eating now, especially Professor Sprout, whose mouth is practically stretched to the back of his head.

Besides, house-elves can cook all sorts of dishes, from frying and steaming to boiling and braising... They know all kinds of cuisines from different countries, so there are many different ways to cook them.

This way, we can save a lot of money on ingredients and use the saved budget on more meaningful things.

Let's see what a financial whiz looks like! (Leans back tactically)

Some people are born to be (vice) headmasters, something that some people (Snape) can't be jealous of.

Everyone enjoyed the meal, but Hagrid seemed unwell and didn't even show up in the auditorium at noon.

It's understandable that the young wizard was upset that the first lesson resulted in him drowning.

But Hagrid wasn't entirely to blame; the root of all evil was McClagan. Therefore, he was deducted fifty points, given a school-wide reprimand, and received a major demerit!

So on the very first day of class, the little lions were surprised to find that they were... at the bottom again!

Wow, so many Grand Score points!

Professor McGonagall, who had been in a relatively good mood, suddenly became gloomy and punished McCragan by making him stay in solitary confinement every weekend until Christmas.

The news wasn't exactly good or bad, but Wood was quite happy.

He's in seventh grade and about to graduate. The problem is, he hasn't won the Quidditch Cup since joining the Gryffindor Quidditch team!

Two years ago, when he became captain, he solemnly swore an oath under the statue of Gryffindor:

He'll never have a girlfriend if he doesn't win the Quidditch Cup!

Wood wiped the sweat from his forehead. That was close... Luckily, he only said he wouldn't get a girlfriend... Hehe!

Of course, that's not what Wood cares about; he just wants to win a trophy.

Otherwise, every time I run into Professor McGonagall, or hear Lee say that they are the Platinum Generation, I feel inexplicably embarrassed and my feet smell bad!

Fortunately, that annoying McLagan was put in solitary confinement and therefore unable to participate in the Quidditch selections over the weekend.

If he cannot participate in the selection, the team members will not be injured.

It's worth noting that during his first year of school, he fractured Charlie's skull, nearly causing him to lose his memory.

Similarly, McClargan was put in solitary confinement, and he no longer had to listen to McClargan's dictatorial pronouncements and his endless boasting that no one knew Quidditch better than him!

William saved many young wizards, and Hagrid gave him an extra fifty points. Thus, Ravenclaw began to lead the four Houses, embarking on another parkour-like journey.

Hagrid is clearly a novice with no teaching experience. If it were any other professor, William would only get ten points at most for his rescue!

A professor like Snape, who has no bottom line, would only get a paltry one point.

After adding points, they will immediately find various reasons to deduct two more points.

They didn't deduct much; it was purely to disgust people!

At lunchtime, William and the twins did not sit in their own college, but went to the Hufflepuff table.

They stared intently at Cedric.

They had very few encounters with the mermaid, yet the mermaid princess still remembered Cedric and even knew his name, which was quite strange.

William certainly wouldn't believe that the two didn't know each other in private!

She's about to marry Cedric, and you still don't know him... Are you kidding me?!

Cedric felt his scalp tingle under the stare and immediately confessed in exchange for leniency:

"During the summer vacation, I stayed at school for a while and encountered that mermaid several times in Black Lake."

She almost drowned once, and I saved her. That's how we met...

Wait a minute... something seems off. A mermaid almost drowned in the Black Lake?!

"I saved her, and she came to see me every day. I had a sudden idea, so I asked her to get me some magical creature fur..."

"So, you two ended up together?" Fred asked, taking a bite of his small round bread.

"Cough cough." Cedric almost choked on a fishbone.

"Don't say such harsh things, it wouldn't be good if Qiu heard! I just want to make friends, it's very innocent..."

No one believed Cedric's explanation; they all thought he had used his charm to seduce the mermaid for his own ulterior motives.

George asked earnestly, "Can mermaids and wizards marry?"

"Yes, although we discriminate against this kind of marriage... legally speaking, this marital relationship is recognized," William explained.

Mermaids, according to the classification of wizards, belong to the category of 'humans'.

They did indeed reject the status of "human" and chose the identity of "beast," but why would a wizard care about the opinions of mermaids?

Therefore, as human beings, wizards and mermaids can intermarry, just as wizards can intermarry with werewolves.

There are plenty of examples of this in the magical world as well. For instance, the 19th-century witch Mirabella Plunkett fell in love with a mermaid who lived in Loch Lomond in Scotland.

After her family rejected the marriage, she transformed herself into a haddock and disappeared.

According to the sorcerer, she was under the influence of a love potion.

After all, mermaids living in warm waters are generally beautiful, but those living in cold waters are often ugly. Take, for example, the Little Mermaid of Black Lake.

"If it's true love, so what if he's ugly?" George said.

"Would Cedric care? He likes interesting souls, not beautiful appearances."

"But I still oppose this marriage," Fred said seriously.

"They're a perfect couple, what right do you, a monster, have to object?" William retorted.

"Okay, William, you're right." Fred laughed. "Then I'll wish them well and give them a gift."

As for becoming a godfather, forget it!

"Get out of here!" Cedric roared.

"Autumn..." George called out.

"Okay, okay! I was wrong!" Cedric quickly covered George's mouth.

William asked in surprise, "Cedric, you didn't wash your hands after using the toilet. Why are your hands all wet now?"

George quickly broke free and spat.

Cedric panicked too. He sighed and said, "It's okay. I'll never go to Black Lake again, not in my entire life, and I'll never go to the bottom of Black Lake."

William pushed up glasses that weren't actually on his face and rolled his eyes.

Cedric has started making strange predictions again.

Just then, a commotion broke out at the Gryffindor dining table.

Ron fell unconscious, and Harry picked him up and ran towards the school hospital.

"Hey, our little brother seems to be in some trouble," Fred said.

"Isn't it that liar Professor Trelawney?" George laughed. "She predicted that Ron would see something ominous and die."

Cedric shook his head. "He can't actually believe that, can he?"

Fred winked and said, "Of course! I'm telling you, little Ron is very superstitious, so we were just comforting him..."

George continued, "Don't be afraid, Ron. Our Uncle Billiers saw an ominous creature and died twenty-four hours later. You have plenty of time to say goodbye to us!"

"..." He really is my older brother.

After dinner, the twins went to find Lee, intending to continue spreading rumors and confirm Professor Snape's werewolf identity.

Cedric went to the Ravenclaw dining table to find Cho.

Having already come up with an excuse, he decisively pinned all the blame on William.

It's William!

He took the compound potion, transformed into his own appearance, and went to seduce the Little Mermaid.

Since William is already widely recognized as a scumbag, he doesn't care about adding another person to the list.

Cedric's face broke into a silly, honest smile, like a badger.

William, unaware that Cedric was plotting against him, carried a large amount of food by himself, shaking off Anne, Ginny, and Luna who were trying to follow him, and quietly headed to the House of Requirement.
