Chapter 362 My Fury, You Can't Control It!
Chapter 362 My Fury, You Can't Control It!
William ran wildly through the cave.
Thunderbird has clearly gone mad with sharks and is preparing to completely raze this cave.
William doesn't mind him being the head of the demolition office, but shouldn't we still abide by basic laws? Hermione and the others are still inside!
Therefore, William had to run wildly and try to dodge the rolling stones.
He ran for about a hundred meters, but before he reached the depths of the cave, he was drawn to something peculiar as he passed a deep pool.
It was a gleaming object, so conspicuous in the pitch-black cave.
William wasn't the only one eyeing that thing.
Above the pool, there was a narrow exit, and the Thunderbird's head squeezed in.
At first, it was extremely narrow, barely enough for a bird to pass through. After walking several dozen steps, it suddenly opened up... Unfortunately, the Thunderbird was very fat, so while the cave "suddenly opened up," it expanded even faster!
So the Thunderbird got stuck in the crevice, hanging upside down, its eyes squinting as it stared intently at the glowing object.
As William approached, he saw the gleaming object clearly. His mouth gaped open, wide enough to fit a golf ball in his astonishment.
It was a pear-shaped gemstone, completely transparent and without any impurities. Even the surrounding dust and smoke could not obscure the gemstone's radiant brilliance.
Calling it a pigeon egg is an insult; it's more like a fist the size of a sandbag... well, Hagrid's fist!
Merlin's God, what a huge diamond!
It's going to be a big hit!!
William became excited, his legs moved toward the gems against his will, and his brain told him: Take it!
Thunderbird glanced disdainfully at William, letting out a warning in its throat.
William paid no heed to the silly bird and ran straight for the jewel. Such things belonged to the virtuous, not to those who came first.
What? Who is the virtuous one?
Whoever gets it first gets it!
Near the Thunderbird's giant beak, arcs of electricity flashed, producing a crackling sound.
"You want it?" William stopped and asked.
Thunderbird blinked eagerly.
"I'll pick it up for you, just please don't attack me," William said.
Thunderbird rolled its eyes. Only a fool would believe such nonsense!
As William approached, blue lightning struck, the current shooting onto the water's surface and creating a spray of water everywhere.
William raised his wand, creating a magical barrier as tall as a person in front of him. He approached slowly, braving the lightning.
Lightning bolts struck the barrier, and a chaotic net-like flame appeared in front of William. He slowed down, but continued to advance slowly.
The Thunderbird twisted its fat body in anger. For the first time, it hated itself for being so fat, and it hated even more that the jewel was about to be taken away by the wizard!
It continuously attracted lightning strikes, causing the mountain to collapse and the earth to split open, with rocks falling everywhere. A huge rock happened to hit the gemstone.
"You good-for-nothing!" William, displaying his refined and easygoing nature, cursed angrily.
"Your mother's grocery prices will go up... no, if you lay bird eggs, they'll be stolen!" William cursed.
Although diamonds are the hardest substance in nature, they are also very brittle.
It has octahedral cleavage, and if the force is applied in the right direction, even a small force can cause it to crack along the cleavage plane.
Therefore, diamonds are highly wear-resistant but not impact-resistant; if hit by a stone, they will shatter!
The Thunderbird realized this too, and it unleashed another bolt of lightning, shattering the rock. Among the rubble, the fist-sized gem broke into seven pieces.
Thunderbird froze, tears streaming down its face.
Taking advantage of Thunderbird's dramatic state, William rushed over, picked up the seven gems, and Apparated, running towards the depths of the cave.
A deafening, piercing cry of a thunderbird came from behind him, so mournful that it inexplicably made William's heart pound.
Regardless of whether it would work or not, he couldn't help but shout back, "My name is Tom Riddle, and I live in the United States... your hometown, Arizona!"
……
……
Deep inside the cave,
Hermione and Fleur, wands in hand, stared intently ahead.
Behind them were a group of trembling children; ahead of them, two wolves were fighting.
Mormont, now in wolf form, is tearing into a werewolf named Mousse.
They were almost out of there when they ran into the furtive Mousse at Starshine Pool.
At that moment, Mousse was holding a flashlight... yes, to Hermione it looked like a large flashlight.
The intense light illuminated the cave, and a beam of white light shone out from the cave entrance above the water.
Then, Mousse and Mormont transformed into werewolves and began to fight.
They fought and retreated, eventually returning to the depths of the cave.
But Mormont was no match for Mousse; he was grabbed by the head and dragged to the ground.
Hermione raised her wand and shouted, "Faint!"
A flash of red light passed by, but Mousse didn't fall. Instead, he shook his dizzy head, abandoned Mormont, and turned to run straight towards Hermione.
Just then, a white streak of light flashed past, and the werewolf slid sideways for five or six meters.
Hermione, forgetting her fear, stared intently at the figure that appeared at the cave entrance.
The figure flashed by, charging towards the werewolf. Another simple spell.
A gentle breeze swept by, and Mousse crashed into the cage, scattering dust. Some wooden cages were even smashed open by his massive body.
The next moment, the werewolf who had been howling in pain could no longer utter a sound, because his head and body were pressed tightly against the rock wall.
He was like a thin sheet of paper nailed to the wall, his entire wolf-like face quickly shifting from pain to contortion and then to fear, like a fish pulled ashore, hanging by a thread.
William slowly walked in, gripped his longsword in his left hand, pierced the werewolf's heart, and pinned him to the wall.
William drew his silver sword, turned and walked to Hermione and Fleur's side.
"Have you found Anne and Gabrielle?"
"No, the children say they've already escaped," Hermione quickly replied.
"I see... As expected of Anne." William pondered for a moment and said, "I'll take you away first, then go find them. This place is about to collapse."
A group of children surrounded William, clinging tightly to his clothes. William appeared in a phantom form and led them to Biarritz Beach.
He appeared in phantom form four or five times before he managed to safely transfer everyone.
William returned to the island and found the cave crooked, littered with limbs and broken bones. Some werewolves had met an even worse fate, charred black by the maddened thunderbirds.
Thunderbird was whipping Jacob's corpse, while Big Black was hiding under Jacob's body, seemingly playing dead.
Upon seeing William, the Thunderbird immediately charged at him like a madman. William transformed into a sea eagle, turned, and flew towards the other end of the island.
"elder brother!"
Halfway through the flight, William heard shouts coming from the ground. He looked down and saw Anne and Gabrielle waving frantically.
William ignored it and continued flying. After luring the Thunderbird away, he landed on a small hill, then Apparated back to Big Black and brought it back to the beach.
William returned to the island and found Anne and Gabrielle in no time.
At this moment, the Thunderbird, having been tricked, realized what was happening and flew straight over.
William carried Anne on his back, then picked up Gabrielle, and disappeared completely from the spot.
After venting its anger, the Thunderbird flew toward the coastline with overwhelming fury.
Humanity, you cannot control my rage!
