A Certain Magical Hogwarts

Chapter 353 Dementor Capture Complete!

Chapter 353 Dementor Capture Complete!

William was very interested in Dementors, as they were a special kind of magical creature.

He was so interested!

Of course, it's not a matter of liking or disliking! It really is that kind of, very rare... magical creature.

The rarity of Dementors lies in their being a form of "non-existence".

"Non-existent" is a subcategory of magical creatures, the most famous of which are Dementors and Boggarts.

Pee-Pee Ghost is also a non-existent creature.

They transcend life and death and have no counterpart in the Muggle world. Muggles can only perceive all non-existence indirectly.

Because they do not exist beyond life and death, they do not reproduce among their own kind like ordinary creatures.

For example, Dementors only arise from human emotions and feed on those emotions.

Humanity is still alive. Even if you wipe out all the existing Dementors, they will be reborn in the darkness, and the number will never stop!

William couldn't wait to explore the existence of these magical creatures and discover what kind of breathtakingly beautiful bodies were hidden beneath their wide black robes!

He was determined to catch one and keep it as a pet.

This is certainly difficult.

Strictly speaking, since being recruited by the British Ministry of Magic, Dementors have been under the command of Azkaban.

Not to mention the danger, he was a legitimate civil servant of the Ministry of Magic, enjoying special allowances from Azkaban.

You think you can just arrest these thugs within the system whenever you want?! Do you think you're the Minister of Magic?

The problem is, William is currently in France, not in England.

He lived outside the law, free from the constraints of Britain, able to indulge himself and be a quiet, lawless outlaw, William.

The appearance of Dementors in France and their attacks on Muggles constitutes a serious diplomatic incident.

If one or two Dementors were to "accidentally" disappear, the British Ministry of Magic would immediately assume that the French were retaliating.

Or they might be attempting to steal the technology and replicate the Azkaban model.

France, on the other hand, would think that Britain was blaming others and making trouble out of nothing!

No one would doubt William, this ordinary, harmless little wizard!

Simply perfect.

William suddenly realized that he had sped down a path of crime, leaving his peers far behind.

No, Hermione is still sticking close to him. She's been involved in almost every bad thing William has done lately, and she's the number one accomplice!

If William gets into Azkaban, the two of them will probably get a nice double room.

Hmm, this looks pretty good.

Even in France, catching a Dementor isn't that easy.

They usually travel in flocks and can fly!

But now one Dementor has separated from the main force, and unlike ghosts, they cannot pass through physical bodies.

There are many ways to catch it.

"The box!" William took off his safety watch and tossed it to Hermione.

Hermione caught the valuable safety watch, thought for two seconds, and understood William's meaning. She went inside the safety watch and quickly went to find a large box.

William waved his wand, summoning a tent from the ground that stood between the Dementors and Fleur.

Hibiscus stepped back, and the Dementor followed. The girl began to "walk around the pillar like the King of Qin," while the Dementor attempted to "assassinate the King of Qin like Jing Ke."

William naturally wouldn't shout something like "King with his staff." He raised his wand and pointed it at his temple.

With a gentle flick and shake of the wand, a silver substance emerged from the tip.

Like clouds, it is both liquid and gas.

—William's memories!

He chanted a spell, his wand waving rapidly. Guided by the spell, those happy memories, like smoke rings, slowly magnified and scattered in the air.

William's happy memories, like a deadly poison, were detected by the Dementors' keen sense of smell.

It sniffed hard, let out a soft moan, and a look of longing appeared on its face.

Indeed, France is much better than England; even the air here smells sweet.

At the same time, the other Dementors also caught the scent.

They became agitated and launched a frenzied attack on the Aurors.

In an instant, a dozen or so Aurors were caught off guard by more than a hundred suddenly berserk Dementors, and even Clegane almost had a passionate French kiss with one of the Dementors.

"Get rid of them, you damned bastards!" Clegane shouted, waving his wand.

William's ability to lure monsters is absolutely top-notch; the Dementor, as expected, lost Fleur and slid towards him, following its memory.

"William, here's the box you wanted!" Hermione finally emerged from the safety watch, with a large black cabinet floating behind her.

"Open!"

Hermione opened it quickly.

William waved his wand, and three eagles appeared one after another at the tip of his wand.

The eagle circled around William leisurely, then landed affectionately on Hermione's shoulder before suddenly soaring into the sky.

A moment later, the first one fell rapidly!

It didn't crash straight down on the Dementor's head, but landed dozens of meters in front of the Dementor, and then suddenly drifted towards it.

The Dementor was feeding on memories in the air and didn't notice its Patronus. It was stabbed in the back, its back struck as if by lightning, and it was sent flying forward with a thud.

Its painful roars told it that it should run away, but its mouth told it not to go!

Take another second of inhalation!

Just a billion seconds!

Surprisingly, the Dementors were also typical gluttons.

Then, the second eagle swooped in and pressed itself against the Dementor's chest.

The Dementor was knocked forward by the eagle, sending it flying several meters, its body sliding across the ground and kicking up clouds of dust.

Having been attacked twice, the Dementor dared not greedily consume the memories any longer and turned to fly into the sky.

The third eagle crashed down, slamming into the Dementor's head and knocking it onto the beach.

"Shall we go?" William chuckled, arms crossed. "Since you're here, don't rush. I'll take you to see the goldfish."

Under his magical influence, three eagles mistook the lone Dementor for a Quake ball and started playing Quidditch on the beach.

The Dementor flitted about awkwardly between the three eagles, its black robe spinning rapidly, a rather amusing sight from afar.

Furong witnessed the entire process and was utterly shocked.

No matter how much the newspapers boast, nothing beats witnessing William's magical abilities firsthand and experiencing it directly!

This kind of power was something she had never experienced before. Looking at Hermione's calm expression, it seemed that she was already used to it.

For a moment, she felt a pang of envy mixed with an inexplicable jealousy, an emotion that infuriated her!

William played with it for a while, then waved his wand, sending the box flying. Finally, the eagle rammed into it, knocking the Dementor inside.

The iron gate slammed shut, and William, wand in hand, began to draw ancient runes around the cabinet.

The cabinet shook violently as the Dementors rammed into it, but as more and more runes appeared, the cabinet finally quieted down completely.

William smiled with satisfaction.

Dementor captured!

Hermione was still staring intently at the ancient runes William had drawn, most of which she couldn't even recognize, let alone use.

Furong also lowered her head in deep thought, carefully examining the demonic script.

The Aurors were still chasing away the hundred-plus Dementors and had no time to attend to this side of the beach; William's memories caused them considerable trouble.

William tapped his wand lightly, retrieving the memory and storing it in a small crystal bottle.

Hermione took it, shook it, and carefully hid it.

William also hid the box to prevent Clegane from seeing it later.

The group approached, but Roy and the others couldn't see the Dementors and had no idea what was happening; they only knew that danger was imminent.

Fortunately, it seems William has resolved the issue.

"Have some, it'll make you feel much better." William pulled out a few bottles of euphoria potion and made everyone drink them.

William also poured some for the black dog, which seemed to be greatly affected as well.

This dog is clearly like Yaya; it looks big and mighty, but it's a total coward inside.

After licking the euphoric drug a few times, the dog's tail wagged again, looking very happy.

It ran to the beach and started barking loudly, whether at the Aurors or the Dementors, it was unclear.

They displayed an arrogant attitude, as if they were bullied by their master.

The sky cleared, the rain stopped, and the dog felt confident again.
