It wasn't just Cedric who didn't understand; most of the students didn't understand either.

Bystanders formed a large circle, some looking shocked, others even terrified.

William did not tell Cho and Cedric that Hagrid would be arrested.

Dumbledore demanded strict secrecy regarding the matters discussed in the headmaster's office that day.

Fudge stood in the crowd, holding a green top hat, gently wiping away sweat.

"This is terrible, Hagrid," Fudge said in a crisp, quick tone. "It's really terrible that we had to come."

One Squib, three young wizards… four attacks in total. This is outrageous; the Ministry of Magic must take action.

"I didn't," Hagrid pleaded, looking at Dumbledore. "You know I didn't, Professor Dumbledore, sir..."

Hagrid's eyes were filled with tears. If there was anything else that frightened him, it was probably Azkaban.

When Hagrid was young, he spent a long time in Azkaban... He was only in the third grade at the time, so naturally he had more psychological trauma than the average person!

It took Dumbledore considerable effort to get him out.

"I want you to understand, Cornelius, I've told you more than once that I completely trust Hagrid," Dumbledore said.

He noticed that the other teachers were staring at him with what could be described as disgust.

Snape stepped forward and sneered, "Professor Lockhart...didn't you say you knew exactly where the entrance to the Chamber of Secrets was...and could subdue the attacker by yourself?"

So it was a complaint letter to the Ministry of Magic.

"I—this, this, I—" Lohachi stammered. "I suddenly remembered I have something to do."

"Headmaster, you can't let them take Hagrid away!" Harry shouted angrily as he rushed into the crowd.

However, no one listened to him, and the Aurors had already stepped forward and taken Hagrid away.

Hermione appeared behind William, stood on tiptoe, and whispered in his ear:

"William, Rita replied...she said she'll come this Saturday..."

William nodded slightly.

Since Lockhart pulled this stunt, he shouldn't be surprised if he reveals all of the other party's secrets.

Come on, let's hurt each other!
