Chapter 280 The Abnormal Ron

Professor Snape's defeat was inevitable.

Through two time loops, William's magical skills had reached a very high level.

He also has 24-hour personal tutoring from professors of various subjects, exclusive one-on-one private lessons, and the help of Dumbledore and Nico... It's almost an all-star luxury lineup!

William was also incredibly experienced in combat.

After Lockhart decided to go back, he added this passage to the new book, and he himself appeared in the way that William liked his teacher the most.

The book also mentions that Lockhart spent two hours alone with William every night!

"Alright, it's time to arrange practice for the students." Lockhart called to Snape and paired them up.

William and his small group don't need to be paired up.

Cedric and Qiu are in one group, and the twins are in another group; this was a pre-established training arrangement.

William was also teaching the four of them how to fight, even before he taught Hermione.

Therefore, they are much stronger than ordinary junior wizards, especially Cedric... he is truly a genius!

Cedric didn't go home for two summers, spending part of his time helping out at Ollivander's shop and the other half at school, following Professor McGonagall to catch up on his Animagus studies.

Anne was fighting with William, while Hermione walked toward a Slytherin girl.

She wanted to steal some hair to put into the compound decoction.

Harry was angry with Ron. He had just been about to invite Cho, but Ron stopped him!

"Come on, Harry, I've recently learned a few new spells." Ron hugged him warmly. "Let me show you how powerful I am!"

"No, I think you two should separate." Snape strode over and said with a sneer, "Weasley, you can pair up with Fenrir."

As for Porter—”

Snape grinned knowingly. "Malfoy, come here. You two fight, and let us see the strength of the boy who survived."

Malfoy's hands trembled with excitement as he strode over, a hopeful smile on his face.

"To your partners!" Lockhart shouted as he returned to the stage, "Bow!"

The bows were sparse; most of the students had already started fighting, and the scene was quite chaotic.

Marietta's wand accidentally set Brad's clothes on fire;

A plume of green smoke filled the entire venue. Neville and Ernie lay on the floor, looking at each other, panting heavily.

Harry and Malfoy's wands fell to the ground, and the two hugged each other and started wrestling.

Harry used the wicked Monkey Catch Bugs technique, which Malfoy narrowly dodged. Malfoy then leaped high into the air and countered with a Raven Takes Flight.

The frail Harry was no match for Malfoy, who straddled him, pinned his hands down, and tugged at his robes.

"Merlin!" Lockhart jumped around in the crowd. "Stand up, Ernie... watch out, Miss Fawcett... pinch hard, the bleeding will stop immediately."

"Malfoy, be gentle, don't be so rough..."

"I think we should have a student demonstrate," Lockhart said to Snape, looking flustered.

If something goes wrong, he doesn't know how to explain it to Dumbledore.

Snape clearly thought so too.

"How about a couple volunteering to come up—Longbottom and Finley?" Lockhart suggested.

"That's a bad idea," Snape said. "Longbottom can cause destruction even with the simplest spells. We'll put Fenrir's remains in a matchbox and send it to a hospital ward."

"Potter... Malfoy, you two come up here."

Malfoy stopped tearing at the wand, picked it up, and walked toward the stage, with Snape whispering in his ear.

Harry tightened his belt, touched the teeth marks on his neck, and hesitated to go up.

Snape was definitely teaching Malfoy some powerful spells.

Suddenly, Ron, emboldened by some unknown source, shouted, "I'll fight for Harry!"

Before Harry could object, Ron had already climbed onto the stage.

Surrounded by so many students, he was so excited that his hands trembled and his face turned bright red.

Snape frowned at Ron, then nodded, and said sarcastically, "Since Potter doesn't dare come up, then you, Weasley, will have to..."

"Weasley...you want to show off?" Malfoy stepped forward and lowered his voice. "Or do you think you're my rival?"

"You don't know yet, do you?" Malfoy didn't dare to mess with William, but he didn't take Ron seriously.

"My father recently wrote to the Ministry of Magic, requesting an investigation into the head of the Department for the Misuse of Muggle Items. Isn't that your father?"

Malfoy said dismissively, "Look at your family, what will you do without jobs? Will you have to beg for food?"

Ron gripped his wand tightly. "Die, Malfoy!"

His spell missed and hit the corner of the wall.

Malfoy swiftly raised his wand and roared, "Oolong out of the cave!"

A long black snake suddenly darted out from inside, landing heavily on the floor between them, then raised its head, ready to attack.

The crowd screamed and quickly backed away to make way for the open space.

"Don't move, Weasley," Snape said lazily. "I'll help you."

But Ron stared intently at Malfoy, flicking his wand. "Dark Bolt!"

A crossbow bolt formed from black mist shot out, piercing the snake's head and landing on Malfoy with undiminished speed.

Blood gushed from Malfoy's chest as if he had been pierced by a crossbow bolt.

He staggered backward and fell to the ground with a thud, the wand slipping from his limp right hand.

"No—it wasn't me—" Ron rushed over and knelt down next to Malfoy.

Malfoy lay trembling uncontrollably in a pool of blood, his pale hands clutching his blood-soaked chest, his eyes filled with terror.

Snape burst in, his face ashen.

He roughly shoved Ron aside, knelt before Malfoy, drew his wand, aimed it at the wound, and chanted a singing-like spell.

The bleeding seems to have subsided.

Snape then took a bottle of hemostatic agent from his pocket and dripped it onto the wound, causing a large amount of new flesh to grow rapidly.

Snape turned and stared at Ron as if he were seeing him for the first time.

The auditorium was deathly silent.
