Chapter 245 What a huge bird!

"Come on, brother will take you to see the goldfish."

William smeared the sticky potion all over his palms, slowly stretched out his hand, and pretended to be weak and vulnerable.

I learned this from Newt during Christmas; that's how he deals with those ferocious magical creatures.

They were on high alert, each holding a bamboo spear.

The spears were sharp and thin, like arrows, and were all aimed at William.

"William, we'll check this secret passage another time we have time."

Cedric crawled out of the tunnel, covered in dust, and as soon as he raised his head, he was startled.

"What the hell?"

His words startled the Bowtruckle, and many spears were dropped. Cedric stumbled and fell back into the cave.

The ground was covered with countless bamboo sticks.

"What's wrong, Cedric?" Fred's voice came.

"We're surrounded!"

"Who? Could it be the professor, or an Auror?"

"Tree protector hunchback!"

"..."

"Relax!" William raised his hands to show his innocence.

He suddenly felt something tugging at his wrist, and then looked up.

Three Bowtruckles were tugging at the button on his cuff, swinging him slightly. The thread snapped, and the three Bowtruckles fell to the ground.

William reacted quickly, catching the little creatures with his right hand.

Three Bowtruckles licked William's palm, and after a moment, climbed up his collar, opened the pocket inside his clothes, and jumped in.

William laughed.

The abduction was successful.

Just then, a "beep beep beep" sound came from afar, as if someone's go-kart was about to explode.

William looked up.

An old Ford car glided across the sky, billowing thick smoke from its hood like the towering chimney of Luna's house.

Mr. Weasley's car was completely out of control and was heading straight for the Black Lake.

There was also a group of newly enrolled wizards at Black Lake, struggling to rock their small boats, all of them looking up.

The car crashed into the water with a thud, then continued forward, heading straight for the first-year students' small boat. The car left a straight line in its wake, and the lake water rippled outwards, creating a beautiful, rippling surface!

Hagrid roared, and standing on the small boat, he suddenly leaped up, like Zhang Fei unleashing his ultimate move, and delivered a vicious knee strike to the oncoming car.

The car door caved in instantly at a speed visible to the naked eye, nearly killing Ron in the parking space.

Hagrid pressed his hands on the car, forcing it to veer off course, while simultaneously sliding his feet backward, propelling the small boat beneath him backward.

However, due to the excessive impact, Hagrid's small boat capsized, and he fell into the water.

In an instant, countless water droplets splashed out, as if a torrential downpour was pouring down on the heads of the group of young wizards.

Anne quickly pulled a small pink umbrella from her ring, opened it, and held it up to avoid getting soaked.

Ginny and Luna both hid behind the girl.

Anne patted their little hands reassuringly, sighed with an air of maturity, and then took out her wand, aiming it at Hagrid.

"Yugadimurleviosa!"

The spell landed precisely on Hagrid, without any bison or other unexpected interference. Hagrid slowly floated out of the water and, under Anne's control, landed on a small boat.

All the students around her applauded. Annie blinked her dark green eyes, folded her umbrella, smiled slightly, and gave an elegant ladylike bow.

At this point, the car had already moved far away from Black Lake and took off again.

He desperately wanted to travel back in time and show this memory to his parents when they decided to have a sixth child.

The Weasleys will probably take precautions to prevent Ron from being born.

The car drew closer and closer, heading straight for Darenliu.

"Run!" Cedric pulled William and the twins and ran into the distance.

"Loud voice!" William pointed his wand at his throat.

"Ron, Harry, brake!"

Ron was terrified inside the car, while Harry quickly stepped on the brakes.

He stepped on the gas pedal, and the car sped off at an even higher speed.

Because water had entered the engine compartment, sparks and lightning flashed all over the hood, making it look extremely frightening.

"Idiot!" William couldn't help but curse, his words echoing throughout Hogwarts.

All around was the echo of "idiots".

Ron finally snapped out of his daze and pulled his wand from his back pocket.

"Stop! Stop!" he shouted, pounding on the dashboard and windshield, but they continued to hurtle towards the willow tree.

William shouted, "Jump out of the car!"

Meanwhile, the other three pointed their wands at the car and cast a slowing spell.

Upon hearing William's instructions, Harry released Hedwig from the cage without hesitation and then opened the car door.

"Are you crazy?!" Ron shouted.

"The car is about to crash into the willow tree. Staying here will only increase our chances of dying!" Harry said seriously.

That's true. A car weighs at least a ton and travels at speeds exceeding 180 miles per hour. In such a non-elastic collision with a willow tree, the likelihood of being killed by the impact is much higher.

Harry, dragging Ron along, leaped into the air.

William silently chanted a spell, transforming into a tiger-headed sea eagle, and took flight.

He was incredibly fast, like an arrow released from a bow, and at the last second, his sharp claws hooked Harry and Ron in mid-air.

Hedwig circled around William, calling out affectionately.

Three Bowtruckles were entwined around the eagle's claws, hanging upside down and staring at Harry and Ron.

Harry and Ron, who had narrowly escaped death, coughed violently and looked up at the majestic eagle, both somewhat bewildered.

Where did that big bird come from?

It's so big!

William floated down slowly, dropping Harry and Ron onto the ground one after the other.

Cedric whistled and smiled at Fred and George, "William wasn't lying."

The two nodded vigorously.

I'm impressed!

They both admit defeat!
