Chapter 212 Hermione's Cheat Code

Chapter 212 Hermione's Cheat Code

As a third-rate time traveler, William had not registered with the Time and Space Administration and was considered an illegal smuggler.

He had no system, no plot knowledge, nothing at all. This tragic transmigrator was a disgrace to all his predecessors.

However, William did know one thing: Harry had defeated Voldemort.

Otherwise, could it be the boss who killed the protagonist?

However, based on William's current observations, he doesn't think Harry can defeat Voldemort.

Talent, mentality, wisdom... he was lacking in all of them. The only thing worth praising was his courage.

Of course, Harry is still young, and Dumbledore is clearly grooming him.

Previously, William thought that Dumbledore had set up the restricted area just to lure out the mastermind behind it all.

In retrospect, it seems that Dumbledore's target was Harry from the very beginning.

He was cultivating Harry's courage.

Dumbledore was probably in control of everything from the shadows at that moment.

If Voldemort hadn't suddenly unleashed a basilisk in the Quidditch arena, wreaking havoc and luring the headmaster away, Harry probably wouldn't have died.

It can only be said that Dumbledore went a little too far, causing the situation to exceed his expectations.

Or perhaps?

Ravenclaw's ring was Dumbledore's last trump card, which is why he acted so recklessly, letting the situation collapse to this point, and incidentally giving William another chance to be tested.

How about killing two birds with one stone?

If that's the case, then Dumbledore is truly terrifying.

Sure enough, people become quite shrewd as they get older.

However, William didn't know if Harry had gotten the hang of it. The whole process of clearing the level was more like Hermione with max-level equipment and cheat codes, leading two newbies to gain experience.

Harry didn't contribute anything at all; he was like a lackey.

For example, in the Fulvi's challenge, Hermione sang a lullaby, and Fulvi fell asleep.

After opening the trapdoor, Harry wanted to jump down, but Hermione stopped him.

She knew there was no more devil's net below, so jumping down would be no different from suicide.

Hermione took a long rope from her ring, which had been enchanted with a Traceless Charm, and wrapped it around Fluffy's neck.

The three of them climbed down the rope to the bottom.

They soon arrived at the room full of keys, and Harry found several flying brooms in a corner.

Harry was about to ride his broomstick to grab the keys when Hermione stopped him.

"No, William has cast a fire spell and a replication spell on the key. You'll die if you touch it."

Hermione is a witch who has seen the walkthrough, she won't make the same mistake Quirrell did.

"What can we do?" Ron asked worriedly. "We can't open the door."

"It's okay, I have the key."

Hermione pulled an antique-looking key from her pocket.

"Where did you get the key?" Harry asked in surprise.

"When I first came to try this challenge, William got this key, and I put it in my pocket and forgot to put it back."

Hermione used the key to open the room, and the three of them entered the next level without any further incident.

In this round, Ron displayed his prowess, winning against Professor McGonagall's wizard chess game. However, he was knocked unconscious by the White Queen and then dragged to a secluded corner.

Harry and Hermione continued toward the next level.

The room where the troll was placed was killed by Quirrell at the end of Christmas, leaving only a pool of congealed blood on the ground. They then safely entered the final level.

As the two stepped across the threshold, a flame suddenly rose behind them, and black flames also leaped up at the doorway leading to the front.

Hermione walked to the table, picked up the parchment, and began to read.

"Hermione, can you untangle this?" Harry had already habitually asked Hermione.

Hermione the Younger glanced at it a few times, then put down the parchment and said, "The reasoning is a bit complicated, but that's not the point."

This riddle isn't the original one; it was written by William. I don't know if Professor Snape knows the correct answer.

Hermione thought for two seconds, then shook her head: "Don't take the risk. What if Professor Snape got the answer wrong? If we drink the potion, we'll die here!"

Harry asked again, as was his habit, "Then what do we do?"

"It's alright." Hermione smiled smugly and took out a bottle of potion from her ring.

"This was brewed by William himself; he gave me a bottle," Hermione said happily.

What could Harry say at this moment besides envy?

Hermione wanted to go in with Harry, but Harry stopped her.

Harry had Hermione write a letter to Dumbledore, asking him to come to his rescue, and then went into the final challenge alone.

William watched from the sidelines the whole time, and Harry, just as Dumbledore had hoped, displayed a unique kind of courage.

In this respect, he truly deserves to be called a Gryffindor, and this is the only commendable aspect of his entire journey.

William followed Harry into the devil's flames.

This time, we entered a large, empty room instead of the principal's office.

William drank the enhancer and used the Disillusionment Charm and Occlumency to prevent the Dark Lord from discovering him, as long as he didn't stare into the Dark Lord's eyes.

However, there was no Dark Lord in the room, only Quirrell's soul, floating in front of a large mirror.

Quirrell turned his head, and William's pupils contracted sharply.

It was clearly Quirrell's body, but his face looked like it had been scraped off, leaving a pale, unpainted face.

Its face had a pair of eyes that shone red, and its nose was a split slit, making it look like a snake.

Voldemort possessed Quirrell's body, and his state was quite unusual; he was no longer a ghost, but more like Peeves.

Pee-Pee is different from ordinary ghosts; his most distinctive feature is that he can touch physical objects.

Clearly, Voldemort has regained a body, even if this body is different from a true physical body.

Voldemort waved his arm, and Harry floated to the mirror.

"How was it?" he demanded sharply. "What did you see?"

Harry mustered his courage. "I saw myself shaking hands with Dumbledore, and I—I won the House Cup for Gryffindor."

"You're lying, Potter. You're lying." Voldemort's smile was more like a grimace.

"No one can lie to the great Voldemort."

"Harry Potter..." he whispered.

Harry tried to back away, but his legs wouldn't obey him.

"Look what I've become!" Voldemort sneered. "All that's left is a shadow and steam... Even if I have a body now, it's only temporary."

However, if you're hoping to get lucky and wait for Dumbledore, you should probably forget about it.

I wrote him a fake letter, tricking him into going to the Ministry of Magic. Of course, Dumbledore is so clever that he would likely see through my trick.

So I left him a big treasure in Quidditch.

He won't care about you. He cares more about hundreds of students than your life... Quickly hand over the magic stone in your pocket.

Harry suddenly regained feeling in his legs. He staggered backward.

Voldemort laughed, raised his wand, and said menacingly, "You'd better save your own life and come to me... or you'll end up like your parents... they begged me for their lives before they died..."

"Lies!" Harry shouted suddenly.

He suddenly pulled the magic stone from his pocket, threw it into his mouth, and swallowed it.

"No!" Voldemort roared in fury. He raised Quirrell's wand and cast a spell on Harry.

Voldemort impatiently crouched down, preparing to dig the Philosopher's Stone out of Harry's stomach.

But as soon as Quirrell's hands touched Harry's body, he recoiled as if burned by flames.

Quirrell's body seemed to be in great pain, and his face kept changing between Voldemort's and Quirrell's appearances, which was very strange.

A sharp, piercing roar emanated from within the body, seemingly reaching the very depths of the soul.

Voldemort coughed up a mouthful of blood, knelt down, covered his mouth with his hands, and blood dripped continuously from between his fingers.

Quirrell has become a ghost; where did he get the blood? It's all Voldemort's own blood!

He decisively broke away from Quirrell, transformed back into an infant-like body, and turned to flee outside.

As Voldemort left, black blood seeped from Quirrell's eyes, and his ghostly body suddenly exploded, turning into streaks of light and disappearing from the room.

William sighed and turned to leave.
