I, Hogwarts Second Time Around.

Chapter 39 A Familiar Taste

Chapter 39 A Familiar Taste

From the moment Irving entered the principal's office, his incessant sobbing and complaining never stopped.

He spoke at length for a full twenty minutes.

The list of Snape's crimes is enough to make the Qing Dynasty—even if all ten of the most brutal tortures in Britain were performed on him, there would still be crimes left.

His mouth was dry and parched, so he drank a whole pot of energy drinks, and just then, his cold was cured.

Professor Dumbledore's eyes were glistening with tears. It was hard to tell whether it was because Owen's tearful story was too touching or because he was fed up with Owen. In any case, he seemed genuinely moved.

Tears streamed down my face from being moved.

"After talking for so long, you must be hungry too." The professor suddenly had a flash of inspiration, as if he remembered something, and said, "Oh right, what was that hot pot you were talking about?"

"Oh! Professor! You must try this, I specially researched it." As he spoke, he took out a piece of oil paper from his pocket, and inside the oil paper was a dark red block of oil.

"Come on, bring over that crucible over there. Yes, it has to be a crucible. It's got that aroma, a mix of herbs and the smell of strange monster limbs, along with all sorts of poisons, entrails, and excrement—'Wow!'"

As he spoke, Irving almost vomited.

"It's alright, this is how you truly preserve the original flavor of the ingredients. Come on, add water! Start a fire!"

After half an hour.

"Owen, come here, hand me that peanut butter."

"Professor, you must try this, tripe. I've heard that the Ming Dynasty wizards loved it."

"Oh! Really? Then I definitely want to try it."

"Oh! And this too, the tentacles of the Black Lake Octopus. I've heard of the Animagus of Gryffindor; they're quite chewy!"

The gurgling heat filled the principal's office.

Several little sprites popped out with a "poof," constantly bringing out all sorts of food.

Professor Dumbledore, having drunk a few more glasses of yellow beer, his face slightly flushed, began to tell Owen about some of his past experiences.

The office was filled with a happy atmosphere until a professor, who seemed to have built-in air conditioning, suddenly walked in, bringing the grandfather and grandson back to reality.

"Severus, come have a drink!" A slightly tipsy Professor Dumbledore waved cheerfully at Professor Snape.

His appearance was completely different from that of a professor in real life.

This was especially true for Snape.

Um.

Upon seeing Dumbledore like this, Snape was clearly surprised; his pupils contracted slightly and the muscles in his face twitched, but he quickly returned to normal.

Then he saw Irving, who was curled up in the chair like a hamster.

Snape pursed his lips, wanting to say something sarcastic, but considering Owen's presence, he ultimately refrained from speaking.

"snort!"

"I didn't know Mr. Sanchez was here. If I had known, I wouldn't have come."

???

Ok?

One sentence sent chills down Irving's spine.

Yes, that's the taste! A touch of arrogance.

Holy crap! She looks exactly like that long-legged, black-haired, arrogant Slytherin heiress from my first playthrough!

Owen looked down at the fake drink (pumpkin juice) he'd been drinking. There was no alcohol in it! How did he get drunk? Had he gone back to the first timeline?

Or perhaps Professor Snape finally saw himself clearly and was about to awaken the femininity within him?

However—that sarcastic tone of his mouth is truly indiscriminate, regardless of gender; Snape was just like that.

"Oh, I've come at an inopportune time." The last vestiges of his literary (TV drama) genes instantly activated. Irving put down the trophy (filled with pumpkin juice). "Professor, why are you saying that? I'm just here to catch up."

"I didn't know you were coming. I'm afraid I'm getting in the way of your important business."

"I just don't know if other people are willing to listen to all that nonsense."

"Alright then." He jumped up from the wicker chair. "I'm tired today, and this has dampened my spirits, so I won't ramble on anymore. You two, keep chatting, bye!"

With that, Irving picked up his crucible and was about to leave.

As he passed Professor Snape, the greasy-haired, stingy professor glared at him fiercely.

We've arrived at the door.

A voice came from behind.

"Mr. Sanchez, that looks like my crucible!"

"What do you mean 'yours' and 'mine'?" Owen glanced back. "This is school property, Professor Snape. Strictly speaking, it belongs to every Hogwarts student."

"And I am a student of Hogwarts, so it belongs to me!"

After saying that, he turned around and disappeared behind the oak door.

------

From then on, everything in the principal's office was just Irving's guess.

Ah!

Professor Snape broke down in tears, deeply affected by the impact of controlling the troubled students on his psyche.

Then Dumbledore vehemently refuted him, repeatedly stating that Owen was an upright boy and would never do such a thing.

Professor Snape then produced evidence—the hot pot broth that was almost a success but had failed—and angrily rebuked a student for teaching him to make such a thing.

Then Professor Dumbledore, blinded by his own perspective, refused to acknowledge that his good child had gone astray.

I imagine the office will be quite exciting.

With cheerful steps, Owen skipped back to the Hufflepuff common room.

Perhaps he was too full at noon, so he politely declined Hannah's invitation and did not go to the auditorium.

Instead, he went outside the castle to digest his food.

Owen walked further and further along the pebbled path, and before he knew it, as if his body was automatically navigating, he found himself in front of Hagrid's cabin.

"What the hell?"

He noticed the unusual thing about Hagrid's cabin from a distance.

It was midday, although the sun wasn't shining very brightly today.

Hagrid's cabin was completely sealed off; not only were the doors and windows locked, but thick bed curtains were also used to cover the windows.

They were afraid others wouldn't know what bad things were happening inside.

"Could it be a thief?" Owen drew his wand and walked over calmly.

"It must be Hagrid's treasures that attracted some unscrupulous thieves; poachers always seem to frequent the Forbidden Forest."

"Hmm! That makes sense. The brave and honest little Hufflepuff wizard discovered that despicable thief, fought him, and ultimately won a great victory." Owen continued to mutter to himself, "Unfortunately, the battle damaged many precious magical materials in the room, including a blanket made of unicorn tail hair, a dozen beaver pelts, three jars of octopus venom, and several bird-snake eggshells."

"And Owen, who did a good deed, not only received extra points but also dug up a huge chest of Galleons from a pit outside the castle a week later. Ha! It's truly Merlin's blessing; good deeds are rewarded!!!"

As Irving spoke, an undisguised smile crept across his face, like a mouse that had fallen into a rice jar.

But before that, he had to check if there was anyone inside.

With this thought in mind, Owen cautiously approached the window of Hagrid's cabin and used a levitation charm to slightly part the bed curtains, revealing a corner of the room.

It was so much fun slacking off today!

I was so excited that I cried.

Waaaaaahhhhhh!

Damn it, why am I still working on Sunday?! (Crying) Waaaaaah!!!
