I, Hogwarts Second Time Around.

Chapter 35 Christmas Gifts for Three People

Chapter 35 Christmas Gifts for Three People

The retirement life did not last long.

Because Christmas is coming soon.

Although I don't know why a group of wizards celebrate Christmas, Irving is truly grateful that it freed him.

The auditorium in the morning.

The walls were covered with cascading ribbons of holly and mistletoe, and twelve towering Christmas trees stood throughout the room, some adorned with glittering icicles and others sparkling with hundreds of candles.

Owen sat alone at the Hufflepuff table, enjoying the cakes made by the elves.

These are all time-honored recipes passed down by Mrs. Hufflepuff for thousands of years.

1400 years of history you can hear, 1400 years of history you can see, 1400 years of history you can taste.

Hogwarts, 491.

Well, to be honest, after eating this kind of rose cake so many times, you can't really taste anything new. More than 1,400 years have passed, but the taste is still sweet.

In the corridor, many young wizards, dressed in their everyday clothes, ran back and forth, chatting and laughing as they looked forward to the Christmas holidays.

Those games that were popular in the wizarding world, such as Wizard's Chess, Wizard's Cards, and all sorts of Weasley's annoying gadgets, were everywhere on this day with the professor's tacit approval.

A Weasley firework exploded in front of the Great Hall.

Owen looked up at the sound and saw the Gryffindor trio bumping into the Slytherin heartthrob in front of the door.

After swallowing the last bite of rose cake, Irving grabbed a pumpkin pie from beside him, took a bite, and turned his head away to watch the show.

Unfortunately, that Slytherin-Zuan lad, who had been playing the role all along, didn't put up his best.

It should be said that Malfoy has become much more "well-behaved" since he was beaten up by Harry and Ron.

The way she looked at Harry was so 'tenderly affectionate' (hateful).

A stubborn little expression of being in love.

snort!

Not interesting.

Owen's handsome little face turned

The entire auditorium was filled with the cloying, sweet smell of love!

Seriously, it affects people's appetite!

Then, he stepped out of the auditorium.

Back in the common room, he spent the whole morning playing Wizard's Chess, a game he'd gotten for free from the old headmaster's office.

Unexpectedly, I ran into Dumbledore again during lunch in the Great Hall.

The old principal smiled and kindly invited (forced) him to sit in his office.

Irving's wandering soul had nowhere to rest, so he simply followed along.

A few hours later.

He didn't return to the Hufflepuff common room until it was almost dark.

I woke up very early the next morning.

A brand new day begins, accompanied by the silent demise of a certain great power.

Christmas is slowly approaching, dragging the curtain down on a great era.

As soon as he opened his eyes, Irving noticed something at the foot of his bed.

Only after opening the bed curtains did he realize that it was actually a box.

The large wooden box had metal corners secured with rivets.

There were three packages on the box.

The colors varied, and the fact that they were covered in dirt made it clear that they were gifts from Professor Sprout.

Upon closer inspection, it was indeed there; inside was an old book titled "A Thousand Kinds of Miraculous Herbs and Mushrooms."

Irving casually flipped through a few pages and found them filled with notes, looking like a textbook from the professor's student days.

The other package was reddish-brown, and when he opened it, he found it was a gift from Dumbledore: a box of Beans with Flavor.

It also comes with a parchment scroll that reads: "Young people should be brave enough to try new things."

"Heh heh," Irving chuckled, then immediately tossed it aside.

The last package, the smallest, was the typical brown Hufflepuff color. Inside was a small box of homemade gummies that Hannah had given him.

Owen had heard her mention it; she said it was a family recipe passed down through generations of the Abbott family.

I took a bite, and mmm—it's really sweet.

It was a little too sweet, but not a big deal. Compared to the sweets that Professor Dumbledore liked, this level of sweetness was negligible.

Finally—there was that box.

The Christmas gifts were packed in a box

"Hmm—that must be very valuable," Owen's eyes lit up. He quickly placed the other gift boxes on the bed and then waved his wand.

With a click, the box slowly opened.

The rusty box creaked open, and a cloud of black mist slowly overflowed from it.

"Wardfa?"

Just as Owen squinted, looking like someone was about to be in trouble, and raised his wand, ready to bite the big melon in the face at any moment.

A young wizard, also dressed in pajamas and holding a wand, emerged from the box to his astonishment.

"This is."

Irving stared at the other version of himself that emerged from the box, momentarily bewildered.

What is this?

Who made the life-size figure for him?

Just as he was wondering, a piece of paper that looked like it had been burned fell at Irving's feet.

Bending down to pick it up, I saw that the paper was written in an exceptionally ornate style, with the last letter of each word forming a sentence in English: "A little trinket I found in the forest, for you. Maybe you can use it for a prank or something."

"mischief?"

Irving frowned and continued reading.

"Did Dumbledore kick you out of the castle? Humph! He just won't tolerate any other voice. Just as tough as he was back then. Once I've finished what I need to do, I'll come back for you. Maybe Durmstrang is a better choice for you."

"Also, I asked someone to bring you something 'fun'. He'll be heading to Hogwarts around springtime."

Finally, Merry Christmas!

Okay~ This box was actually sent to him by his maternal grandfather.

snort!

They've ignored him for years, and now they're suddenly writing him a letter!

Do you even realize that your feelings have faded? Your feelings have faded!

After collecting the shredded paper, Irving began to examine the "other self" in front of him again.

"This—could it be Big Brother! A lifelike teardrop?"

Owen raised his wand and poked the exceptionally handsome man in front of him, with short black hair, gray eyes, and a face that looked exactly like his own, as if God (crossed out) Merlin had meticulously sculpted it.

"Waaah~"

Another version of myself let out an incomprehensible whimper.

Then he turned around and crawled into the box.

"What the hell is that? A mimic? Why isn't it attacking?"

"How can you play pranks if you don't attack? You're just a life-size doll, aren't you?"

He spent a long time studying it but still couldn't figure it out.

Too lazy to waste any more time, I carried my suitcase to a corner by the window, changed my clothes, washed up, and left the dormitory.

A fire was burning in the warm common lounge.

The table was already laden with all sorts of breakfast options in the morning.

Irving found a seat and prepared to enjoy a rare moment of peace.

"Ahhhhh! Help!"

But before he could take his first bite, a scream shattered the precious tranquility.

Irving frowned, looked in the direction of the sound, and thought, "Hmm? Which direction? It looks like his room."

"A troll! There's a troll!"

I worked all day and didn't even get to touch a single fish.

I'm so sorry the update is finished!!!

I'm still not satisfied with this chapter and the next one after revising them. I'll revise them carefully when I have time.
