I, Hogwarts Second Time Around.

Chapter 28 See, we've become number 1 now!

Chapter 28 Look, haven't we become number one?

As the saying goes, the heroic spirit of heaven and earth remains awe-inspiring for a thousand autumns.

Heroes are always admired.

For example:

Wow! She—she's so cool!

Sparks of fireworks landed on Hermione's shoulder.

In that instant alone, Owen dared to say that Miss Perfection already had a fan club at Hogwarts.

He himself didn't react much, even though he had just sensed an aura of dominance emanating from Granger.

That kind of aura only exists in top wizards like Dumbledore and Grindelwald.

But she was only at about 20% of her own power from her first playthrough. Yet, for first-year witches like Hannah, Lavender Brown, Parvati Petil, and Padma Petil, the allure was irresistible.

Look—those young girls, with such infatuated expressions, he knew they were already under the spell of Hermione Granger.

Sigrún has taught at the Iceland University of the Arts as a part-time lecturer since and was Dean of the Department of Fine Art from -. In – she held a research position at Reykjavík Art Museum focusing on the role of women in Icelandic art. She studied fine art at the Icelandic College of Arts and Crafts and at Pratt Institute, New York, and holds BA and MA degrees in art history and philosophy from the University of Iceland. Sigrún lives and works in Iceland.

Just then, the battle was about to escalate further.

A deafening, massive explosion of fireworks rang out above the Hogwarts Great Hall.

The massive shockwave sent the young wizards tumbling about.

Everyone stood up blankly and looked towards the outside of the auditorium, where they saw an old figure standing in front of the auditorium door.

Albus Dumbledore, the headmaster of Hogwarts!

The white-bearded old man, with his eagle-like eyes, looked down into the hall, and wherever he went, the young wizards quickly lowered their heads.

He didn't speak, but walked step by step into the hall. Wherever he went, all the damaged and overturned tables, chairs, benches, bowls, plates, and wine glasses floated up, automatically repaired themselves, and then returned to their rightful places.

The hall was quiet; none of the young wizards dared to utter a sound.

An uneasy feeling gradually spread through the hall.

Silence—still silence.

In the silent stillness, Dumbledore's figure grew even more majestic and imposing.

He stared at them.

Looking at those young figures.

A minute passed.

Two minutes passed.

Gradually, the crowd grew restless, and many young wizards began to whisper among themselves, trying to 'understand' why Dumbledore wasn't speaking.

Three minutes passed.

Finally, after the last murmur of noise subsided, everyone fell silent. They looked up at the podium, at the principal who seemed so unfamiliar to them.

"Hoo~" Dumbledore let out a slow, deliberate breath, his voice breaking out of the silence.

"My breakfast today is a bowl of pumpkin porridge," he said calmly.

"The pumpkin was cultivated by Hagrid from Gryffindor, its seeds were grown by a Ravenclaw wizard, the recipe was passed down by Lady Hufflepuff, and I shared breakfast with a Slytherin professor."

"I thought we were family." The old man's voice was calm and steady, seemingly without any threat.

But the young wizards were on high alert.

At this moment, the deans of the four academies also rushed over upon hearing the news.

First came Professor McGonagall, who arrived looking travel-worn and extremely pale.

Just hours ago, she was still angry about Harry, and now this has happened.

Suddenly, Ms. Meow had a headache. She should have chosen Ravenclaw when she was sorted into her house.

That means I am now the head of Ravenclaw.

As she spoke, she turned her head and glanced at the Ravenclaw students.

Very well, they were all covered in scars, and several of them were petrified, lying alone on the ground.

"." Well, Gryffindor is actually pretty good too.

At least we won, didn't we?

Having witnessed Miss Granger's heroic act, Professor McGonagall finally had some reason to feel relieved.

Compared to Professor McGonagall, Snape looked extremely upset. He didn't care whether Slytherin had clashed with Gryffindor; what he cared about was that his house had actually lost!

Moreover, she was easily defeated by a little witch. (Because the duels among the upperclassmen were all inside the Great Hall, all the professors only saw the duels among the lowerclassmen outside the Great Hall.)

They've utterly disgraced Slytherin! Especially Malfoy, who was chased terrifiedly down the corridors by Harry. Is this still the noble Slytherin? Is this still a wizard?

How embarrassing! So embarrassing!

As for Professor Flitwick, the head of Ravenclaw, although his complexion wasn't great either, it was much better than Snape's.

However, as the headmaster of Ravenclaw, a generation of dueling masters, and since Ravenclaw isn't just a bunch of bookworms, fighting should be something they excel at. Yet, they haven't gained any advantage at all; on the contrary, many of their own have been injured.

He also discovered an even more serious situation.

That is, Ravenclaw is more loosely organized than the other two houses.

Their complete lack of cooperation was the main reason for their failure.

And the last of them, Headmaster Sprout of Hufflepuff, was the most relaxed of them all.

Because she never saw any Hufflepuff junior wizards involved in the Academy War.

Sure enough, the Hufflepuffs were a group of kind and friendly children who never caused trouble.

"Well done." Professor Sprout, wearing a thick hat and covered in mud, walked over to the Hufflepuff table next to Owen, patted him on the shoulder and praised, "I don't know why, but I'm glad you didn't participate in this fight."

The short witch with flowing gray hair looked at Owen with an expression that said, "The child has finally grown up and become sensible."

This made the latter feel a little embarrassed.

Justin, standing to the side, was barely suppressing the urge to laugh, his facial muscles twitching uncontrollably.

Of course, he certainly wouldn't tell Professor Sprout that the struggle between the other three houses was started by this good student in front of you.

Because he is a member of Hufflepuff, isn't he just shooting himself in the foot by saying such things?

On the other side, Professor Dumbledore looked at the battered young wizards and continued, "Slytherin and Gryffindor, deduct sixty points. Ravenclaw, deduct fifty points. Starting this week, every Saturday and Sunday, you will all be in solitary confinement in the Great Hall."

"Until the end of this semester!"

"Other matters are to be handled by the heads of the respective houses. Now, dismissed." With that, Dumbledore turned and walked off the platform, through the inner door, and out of the Great Hall.

Then, the little wizard who had torn away the dark clouds in his heart breathed a slight sigh of relief.

Then, the young wizards from the four houses, led by their respective heads, left the Great Hall one by one.

The First Hogwarts War ended with mediation from all sides.

In terms of results, Gryffindor won due to their overall advantage in the lower grades, while Ravenclaw and Slytherin were defeated.

However, this outcome is by no means what some people expect, such as those upperclassmen in the college.

Many years later, some well-meaning people commented on this incident.

"This is not the end of a struggle, nor is it even the beginning of one."

"It is merely an insignificant commentary on a struggle that has lasted for a thousand years."

I was slacking off, but there was this guy constantly wandering around, making it hard to type.
