Chapter 380, Section 374: Are you planning to use an education order to convict me?

Unsurprisingly, Umbridge was besieged by the angry little wizards.

If it were a group of Death Eaters, they would definitely be afraid.

"Harry."

Seeing that Harry was about to speak, Draco hooked his arm around his shoulder: "Minister Fudge is clearly on the other side."

"Young man of the Malfoys, what do you mean by that?"

Fudge was very displeased upon hearing this, feeling that it damaged his image, so he said righteously, "Even your father Lucius wouldn't dare to speak to me like that. I don't stand on anyone's side; I stand on the side of justice."

"Is the justice you're talking about just torturing students with those disgusting, despicable things?"

"You think you can exonerate Umbridge with just one sentence? What are you doing if not covering it up?"

Harry couldn't hold back any longer and started ranting. He was utterly disappointed with the Ministry of Magic. No wonder Neville's parents, despite being Aurors, could only fight Voldemort by joining another organization.

This is the Minister of Magic; he immediately starts protecting his subordinates.

Hermione and Neville shared his disappointment. Before Umbridge came to Hogwarts, they had great trust in the Ministry of Magic, especially Neville, whose parents were both Aurors.

The young wizards around them very consciously made way for each other.

Is Mr. Potter finally going to take action against Fudge?

"Cornell," Dumbledore glanced around at the densely packed heads of young wizards. "I think you should come to my office for a proper talk."

"There's nothing between us to talk about!"

Fudge rudely interrupted Dumbledore: "You've committed a crime!"

"Connelly, what nonsense are you spouting?"

Dumbledore looked at Fudge with a helpless expression: "Are you planning to use an education order to convict me?"

"Or is it an educational decree that the Hogwarts Board of Governors didn't fully agree to? What are you going to do with me? Lock me up and send me to Azkaban?"

This is even more outrageous than using administrative penalties to convict someone of a criminal offense and sentence them to decades in prison.

Actually, I've never understood why Deng Xiaoping originally wanted to run away.

Based on the testimony of a mere junior wizard and some ridiculous educational order—this so-called evidence—to convict a former president of the International Confederation of Wizards, the chief wizard of Wizengamot, the current headmaster of Hogwarts, a recipient of the Order of Merlin, First Class, and the greatest white wizard of the 20th century is far too frivolous.

This is enough to convict someone? Fudge can just pin charges on whoever he wants.

I find it most incomprehensible that you would use an education order to sentence someone under criminal law; it's utterly absurd.

What if he issues an educational decree next time, forbidding anyone from stepping into Hogwarts, otherwise violating the decree? Do you think that would send someone to Azkaban? Even if the Ministry of Magic is run by Fudge, it can't operate like that.
