Chapter 245, Section 243: Vernon: My Wife's Neighbor is Still the Most Reliable One (Seeking Monthly Tickets)
"The questions were so easy that I finished the test in just one hour."
After the final exams, Ron walked out of the exam hall and said this to Harry with a relaxed expression.
It's hard to imagine that such words would come from Ron's mouth.
But that's just how it is.
Someone who can hang out with top students, even if they aren't a top student themselves, is still a strong student.
"Especially the Potions exam, I didn't expect Professor Snape to give such easy questions; I finished it in just forty minutes."
Ron was still excitedly talking, completely oblivious to Harry's gradually stiffening expression as he frantically winked at him.
"It seems our Mr. Russell considers himself a Potions Master."
The calm, emotionless voice rang out, and Ron stiffly turned around to see Snape standing behind him, meeting his emotionless eyes.
"Then let's have Mr. Russell give us our first lesson next semester."
"If you can't do that, I think you should be happy to clean all the urinals in the school infirmary for a year."
Ron was so frightened that he could only nod subconsciously and didn't dare to refute. By the time he realized what was happening, Snape had already vanished. At that moment, poor little Ronnie was filled with regret.
Why would I say the potion exam was easy?
孽 孽!
On the train back to Kingdom Cross Station, Malfoy stammered for a long time before finally speaking.
"D-bro, Harry, Hermione, Neville, and Ron, how about coming to my house this holiday? None of you have ever been to Malfoy Manor before."
Draco, unusually, didn't call Harry "Potter" or refer to Ron by any other strange name.
Ron was taken aback. He had originally intended to invite everyone to the Burrow, but Malfoy had beaten him to it.
"Of course, I would also like to visit the ancient Malfoy family."
Dudley nodded and readily agreed, and Hermione and Harry naturally did as well.
"Draco, is Mr. Lucius welcoming us? I think you should talk to Mr. Lucius about this first."
Neville considered things a little more.
He has grown the most among them, especially in terms of personality. He has become much more composed and mature, transforming from a timid and cowardly person.
"There are no problems with my father."
To everyone's surprise, Draco immediately replied, "I can make the decision on such a small matter."
His tone and demeanor made it seem as if he were the head of the Malfoy family.
"That's fine then." Upon hearing this, Neville and Ron also agreed to go.
Ron was quite interested in Malfoy Manor.
As the train stopped at the station, the group of friends gradually left, and soon only Dali and his two companions remained at the station.
Just as the three were about to go home on their own, an unexpected person appeared in front of them.
"Hey, Harry, and his friends."
Sirius, now dressed in a different outfit, greeted the group and patted a motorcycle beside him: "Want a ride? Or would you like to stop by my place?"
A leather jacket, a necklace, and a clearly modified motorcycle.
What a ghastly middle-aged man!
"Mr. Black, I remember telling you not to show your face in front of Harry again."
Dudley stood in front of Harry and Hermione, saying, "Your stupidity is contagious."
Upon hearing Dudley's words, Sirius became anxious. He genuinely wanted to get along well with Harry: "I am his godfather, appointed by James and Lily themselves. Since they are no longer here, I should be the one to raise Harry."
"Is that so? But you, as Harry's godfather, have been absent for a full twelve years, completely failing to fulfill your parental obligations. I don't believe you are capable of raising Harry."
Dudley didn't like Sirius very much, not only because of his recklessness and arrogance, but more so because of his stupidity.
"How could that be? I'm an excellent adult wizard!"
"But you, a superior adult wizard, can't even beat me, a minor wizard."
Sirius tried to argue, but Dudley's words left him speechless for a long time.
Even the most reckless man knew that Dudley was telling the truth.
Sirius suddenly remembered something and grinned, "It's the holidays now, so young wizards who haven't graduated are forbidden from casting spells."
So what if you're stronger than me? You can't cast spells.
These words made Dali look at him in a new light.
"Hey, so the brainless one's actually using his brain now."
Sirius Black looked smug.
They were not ashamed, but rather proud.
"I regret to inform you that as a member of the Wizengamots, I am not among those prohibited. I have a certificate from the Ministry of Magic; would Mr. Black like to see it?"
Sirius was dumbfounded after hearing Dudley's words.
"A member of the Wizengamo? How old is he?"
Just as Sirius was about to say something more, he suddenly felt a powerful force surge from his side and was sent flying before he could react.
"You damned murderer, stay away from my children."
Vernon suddenly appeared out of nowhere, shielding the three of them with his broad body, and roared fiercely at Sirius with a flushed face.
Sirius Black was a criminal not only in the wizarding world, but also in the world of ordinary people.
A dangerous individual who bombed a street and committed thirteen murders.
Even though Vernon was the weakest of the group, and even though Dudley and the others didn't need Vernon's protection, he still instinctively rushed to protect Sirius the moment he saw him.
He was unaware that his son Dudley could easily defeat Sirius Black, and perhaps he would have done the same even if he had.
"Damn Dursley!"
Sirius Black got up from the ground, his temper gradually flaring, and he even pulled out his wand.
Faced with the wand, Vernon's face turned pale instantly, but he still resolutely used his body to shield the children.
"Oh, so our Mr. Blake is planning to cast spells on ordinary people? Let me see what you're capable of."
Snape's sinister voice rang out as he walked over from one side of the station.
"Snotty-nosed guy, what are you doing here?"
Sirius looked at Snape with a hostile expression.
Snape glanced at Sirius: "Of course I'm with Mr. Dursley. They invited me tonight."
"Don't worry, Mr. Dursley, with me here, this...tsk...won't dare do anything to you."
Without a trace, Snape stood in front of Vernon, blocking him and Sirius.
This move undoubtedly relieved Vernon's pressure and won him great favor.
"Thank you, Mr. Snape."
Vernon breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing this; his wife's former neighbor was still the most reliable person.
Although Snape seemed cold and aloof, he was quite polite to me and even offered to help me.
Then look at the friend of my sister-in-law's husband.
Based on his own understanding of him, words like criminal, bastard, and scoundrel flashed through Vernon's mind.
Why is there such a big difference between wizards?
If Sirius knew that Vernon viewed him this way and compared him to Snape, he'd probably explode with rage.
