Chapter 238 The Beginning of Chaos

Chapter 238 The Beginning of Chaos (Part 3)

Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither did the current chaotic situation in Britain.

After his encounter with the Ministry of Magic and Dumbledore, Voldemort returned to Malfoy Manor and, after venting his anger, locked himself in his room for a day and a night.

No water, no food, and neither Bellatrix, Wormtail, nor even Ike were allowed into the basement. They didn't disturb them, because they knew Voldemort was contemplating something extremely important—something concerning how they would kill Dumbledore, how they would truly become the rulers of Britain, and fulfill the Dark Lord's long-held goal.

A day later, when Ike and the others were granted permission to re-enter the basement, they found Voldemort even more somber than before. He was still sitting in the same chair, with Nagini cross-legged at his feet, his fingers tapping rhythmically on the long table in front of him.

"Sit down, everyone sit down," he said, his voice even hoarser and softer.

"Like I said, the fight with Dumbledore taught me some things, and that's what I'm going to do next," Voldemort said slowly. "So, I'll be leaving for a while to find the weapon that can kill Dumbledore and ensure the success of our cause."

"Master, please allow me to follow you." Bella immediately rose and bowed as soon as she finished speaking. Old Fu smiled and waved his hand, gesturing for her to sit down.

"Bella, I know your loyalty, but unfortunately, I don't need anyone to accompany me on this journey," Old Voldemort said. "Besides, you have more important things to do."

"Yes, Master." Bella bowed respectfully, sat back in her chair, and looked at Old Voldemort with eyes still full of admiration.

Old Fu's bloodshot eyes silently scanned the people in the basement below, and his smile vanished.

"We just experienced a failure; some people left us and were locked up in that dirty, ugly place."

"Without a doubt, we must rescue them and bring them back to us."

"And once that bunch of dim-witted Dementors left Azkaban, it wasn't difficult to do that."

"Is that right, Ike?" Old Volt looked at Ike and said, "My students, you must bring them back at the right time."

"Okay, teacher." Ike nodded in agreement.

Seeing this, Lao Fu nodded slightly and said, "I believe you can do it, and you will do it very well, but before that, there is one more thing you need to do."

"Remember what I asked you and McNeil to do last year? You have to go again and bring them back." Old Voldemort leaned forward slightly. "Then, let them wreak havoc, let them unleash the savagery hidden in their bones!"

"And Greyback, get your wolf cubs moving too!"

"I want to throw all of Britain into chaos, so those guys in the Ministry of Magic will focus all their energy on this!"

"So, Ike, you don't have any help this time; you'll be going alone."

"No problem, teacher," Ike replied.

"I believe you'll be fine." Old Voldemort patted Ike on the shoulder, then turned to the group of Death Eaters and dark wizards who remained, saying, "After Ike brings the giants back, you'll need to cooperate with those guys and create opportunities for them, understand?"

"Yes, Dark Lord."

Old Fu, having received an affirmative answer, showed no reaction and calmly said, "I hope you can really do it and not disappoint me."

"Alright, let's go out now... Ike, Bella, Narcissa, and Wormtail, wait a moment, I have something to tell you..."

The group of nameless Death Eaters and dark wizards quietly left the basement and closed the door. Once only Old Voldemort and the people he had asked to stay remained, he looked directly at Bella and said, "Bella, my most loyal servant, there is something I need you to do for me."

"As you command, Master," Bella replied respectfully, bowing low.

"After Ike brings back that bunch of good-for-nothings, you must take him to your vault and give him those things as a reward from the Dark Lord."

"Master!" Bella was startled upon hearing this. She knew very well what Old Fu was talking about, and she also knew how important and precious it was, which was why she looked so incredulous.

"That's...really going to..." She glared fiercely at Ike, but Ike remained calm.

"Bella," Old Volt said slowly, and the previously agitated Bella immediately quieted down. "Remember, after he brings those good-for-nothings back, lead him to give him those things."

"Yes, Master." Bella lowered her head. Even though she was unwilling, she understood that it was something that had to be done after Old Fu said the same thing twice.

Old Fu wouldn't say the same thing three times, and no one could make him say it three times.

Without looking at Bella again, Old Voldemort smiled, patted Ike on the shoulder, and said, "I hope you can give me some surprises when I come back."

"I will," Ike said firmly. "Thank you, teacher."

"Hehehehe..." Old Fu waved his hand, then suddenly stopped laughing and looked at Wormtail, saying, "Wormtail, my servant, after I leave, you must not stay here anymore..."

"Master!" Upon hearing this, Insect Tail immediately knelt down, kissing Old Fu's robes, his voice trembling with tears, "Master! Please don't send me away!"

He was terrified. He knew very well that if he left Lao Fu, there would only be one outcome—death.

He doesn't want to die.

"Oh, Wormtail, look how scared you are." Old Voldemort chuckled, placing his hand on Wormtail's head and saying softly, "Not just you, no one can stay here anymore. No one can stay here until Lucius returns..."

"Then, Master..."

"Don't be afraid, don't worry. After I've met someone, I'll tell you where to go." Old Fu patted the top of Insect Tail's head and gently waved him aside. Then he looked up at Narcissa, who had been trembling with fear, and said, "Narcissa, you understand what I mean, right?"

"Yes, Dark Lord." Narcissa replied, her face pale and her body still trembling slightly, bowing her head.

"Don't be afraid, and don't worry. Although Lucius has messed up a lot, he is still my loyal servant," Old Voldemort said slowly, tapping his fingers on the table in front of him again.

"The Dark Lord will not forget those who helped him, so you see, I sent Ike to rescue them and bring them back from Azkaban."

"but……"

Old Fu paused, and Narcissa trembled as well.

Whether Lucius can return is still up for debate...

"Dark Lord..." Narcissa suddenly knelt down, head bowed, her voice trembling with tears, "Please..."

"Get up, get up, what are you doing?" Old Voldemort chuckled, coming to Narcissa's side and helping her up. "Just like I said, the Dark Lord won't forget those who helped him, but similarly, those who hinder the Dark Lord will also be punished!"

"Alright, relax, Lucius will be back, as long as you promise to do one thing for me..."

"Please give your orders, Dark Lord." Narcissa's face was still wet with tears, but she suppressed her sobs.

Old Voldemort sat back down in his chair, calmly looking at the tear-streaked face, and slowly asked, "Draco, Lucius, and your son, are you still at Hogwarts? I remember he was a clever boy..."

"Draco..." Narcissa's body visibly trembled, and her face paled slightly.

"Yes, Draco, I need him to do one thing for me..."

"Wha...what is it?"

"When he returns to Hogwarts, find an opportunity to kill Dumbledore!"
