Chapter 226 The Battle of the Bureau of Mysteries

Chapter 226 The Battle of the Mysterious Affairs Department (Part Two)

"What should we do?"

In the office filled with parchment, Harry and Ron both crawled under the desk, warily watching the doorway. Outside, Lucius was dividing the Death Eaters into groups. Then, very quickly, they saw the door be slammed shut from the outside.

"The Arahomon Opens!"

Two Death Eaters pushed open the door and quickly surveyed the small office. The parchment covering the room only made them frown slightly.

"Not here?" one of the Death Eaters said.

"Look behind the table," another person said as they walked over.

Harry and Ron gripped their wands tightly, exchanged a glance, then thrust them out from under the table, shouting, "Constantly!"

"Bang!"

The Stunning Curse struck the unfortunate man who was walking towards them, sending him stumbling backward and knocking over a tall stack of parchment. Another Death Eater, startled, stared at Harry who had suddenly jumped out from behind the table, his face contorted with rage, and shouted, "Avada Kedavra…"

"They'll all be petrified!"

Ron reacted quickly; before the Death Eater could finish his Death Curse, he was struck by Ron's Petrification Curse, instantly following in his companion's footsteps.

After reaching the two Death Eaters, before Harry and Ron could even catch their breath, two more rushed in from the doorway. Without a word, they unleashed two Explosive Charms right in front of them. Ron's reaction was a little slow, and Harry had to pull him back behind the table.

However, this wooden table was no match for the Explosive Curse and was easily shattered into pieces, exploding in all directions.

Unfortunately, a sharp piece of wood pierced Ron's calf, and blood gushed out like it was free. The pain wasn't too bad; the tense and intense atmosphere would slow down one's pain response. But the gruesome scene of blood flowing everywhere made Ron's brain react before his body.

Brain: This hurts, you have to yell.

Ron: "Ah!"

"Disarm you!"

Taking advantage of the instant the table exploded, Harry rolled behind a tall stack of parchment and immediately cast a disarming spell. The two Death Eaters hadn't expected Harry to react so quickly and were hit directly, their wands flying from their hands.

However, their combat experience was far greater than Harry's. One of them lunged forward and caught the two wands that were flying toward Harry in mid-air. When he landed, he landed right on Ron, knocking him unconscious.

"Crushed to pieces!"

The parchment was blasted into the air, and fragments slowly drifted down. Harry trembled; the two Death Eaters had already obtained their wands and were staring intently at him.

One against two? He was actually quite eager to try.

He collapsed to the ground, completely unconscious!

Just then, Harry suddenly felt the wall behind him disappear, and his body fell backward uncontrollably. It turned out that a door had appeared there at some point, and now it was open.

Neville's spell, though deliberate, was perfectly timed, hitting one person directly. But before he could react, his leg was bumped by the falling Harry, causing him to lose his balance and fall forward.

"Torn apart!"

Fortunately, Neville wasn't alone. Ginny, who was a little slower, managed to defeat the remaining Death Eater in time, thus saving the group of idiots.

"How is it?" Ginny asked.

"I'm fine." Harry and Neville got up from the ground, still holding their wands. Just then, he saw Ron being pinned down by a Death Eater and pounced on him without hesitation.

"Ron! Neville, come quick!"

The two struggled to drag Ron out, leaving a trail of bright red blood on the ground. Ginny didn't hesitate, reaching out to grab the piece of wood stuck to Ron's leg and pulling it out.

"Healed as before!"

"The spring water is as clear as water!"

The cold water jolted Ron sitting bolt upright; his memory was still stuck on the moment he injured his calf. He was about to cry out in pain when Ginny interrupted, "The bleeding has stopped, Ron."

Ron belatedly realized what was happening and quickly looked at his calf, whereupon the bleeding had stopped. Harry and Neville helped him up; he moved around a bit, and although it still hurt a little, it no longer affected his walking and running.

"Where's Hermione?" Harry asked Ginny.

"I don't know." Neville shook his head. "We got separated. Where's the Prophecy Orb?"

"Here they are." Harry patted his pocket, which was bulging. "We need to find Hermione and Luna quickly."

Only then did he notice his surroundings; it was that dark, circular hall, the mark Hermione had left on the door still glowing red. Without pausing, he opened a door and slipped inside.

This time it was the planetary room. They stood back to back, wands in hand, warily watching their surroundings. But to be honest, this room full of planets was not very welcoming to them. After all, these constantly moving planets were so large and bright that they greatly obstructed their vision.

"They shouldn't be here..." Harry had barely finished speaking when he heard a door open. He quickly turned around to look, but no one came in through the door they had entered through.

"Left!" Ron shouted, and Harry quickly turned his head, only to see Bella's ferocious face.

"You scurrying rats, hand over the Prophecy Orb!" Bella shouted, unleashing a Petrify Charm. Harry used his Ironclad Charm in time, but it shattered under Bella's attack, giving Ginny time. She pointed her wand at Pluto next to Bella and yelled, "Shatter!"

A flash of white light, and the massive planet exploded instantly with a deafening roar. Bella, who was closest to it, was thrown high into the air by the shockwave, flying a great distance before crashing heavily to the ground.

"run!"

Harry yelled, but before he could run two steps, Ginny pulled him back: "This way!"

"Why are there so many doors!" Ron complained, staggering behind as he followed. With Neville supporting him, he didn't fall too far behind.

They quickly ran into a room they had never been to before. The room was enormous, several times larger than the Hall of Prophecy, filled with specimens and skeletons of all sorts of creatures they had never seen before. In the center of the room were a dozen huge glass tanks filled with a green liquid, in which some bizarre and grotesque creatures were submerged.

"What are these?" Harry asked casually, without slowing down, and he and Ginny quickly passed through the specimens one by one.

"I don't know, it doesn't matter," Ginny said, starting to jog. Suddenly, she pointed to the left and shouted, "There!"

She quickened her pace and reached out to pull open the black wooden door.

The moment the door opened, a blinding golden light flashed by, and Ginny instinctively shielded her eyes. As the light faded and she lowered her arm, the first thing she saw was Luna lying motionless a short distance from the doorway, her forehead smeared with bright red blood.

"Luna!" Ginny rushed over and picked Luna up, pressing her ear to her chest to listen carefully. She could faintly hear her heartbeat and couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief.

At that moment, Harry and the others rushed in, but their attention was completely drawn to the two people fighting in the room. Golden, red, white, and yellow lights filled the room, accompanied by a constant crackling sound.

They could see clearly that one of them was obviously at a disadvantage, having used nine out of ten spells for defense, while the other still had plenty of energy left, giving the impression that he was handling the situation with ease.

Defeat is only a matter of time.
