Chapter 225 The Battle of the Bureau of Mysteries

Chapter 225 The Battle of the Mysterious Affairs Department (Part 1)

"Let me go..."

Hermione said, her eyes seemingly able to see through to the thoughts of the person hidden behind the hood. Her eyes held reluctance, resentment, joy, but above all, a burning passion.

Ike didn't say anything, but he pushed Hermione hard with both hands. Hermione staggered backward, her body unsteady. If Ginny and Luna hadn't quickly helped her up, she probably would have fallen to the ground.

"Tsk tsk tsk, how heartless, little master..." Bella's fingers toyed with her messy hair. "Is this your little girlfriend at Hogwarts? I heard she's a piece of mud..."

"Bella." Ike's tone was icy. Bella froze on the spot upon hearing his voice, ultimately not uttering the rest of her sentence, and quietly retreated to the side.

Ike raised his hand and pulled back his hood, revealing his hair, which hadn't been cut for almost a year, falling naturally down. His face was pale, an unhealthy white, and even his lips were a much lighter color.

"Harry, give the Prophecy Orb to Lucius," Ike said calmly, and Lucius obligingly extended his hand to Harry again.

"Impossible!" For some reason, Harry suddenly found the courage to loudly refuse. This attitude immediately caused an uproar among the Death Eaters, who clamored to teach him a lesson.

"Don't move!" Harry stepped forward, shielding Hermione and the others behind him, and shouted, pointing the crystal ball at it, "Or I'll smash it!"

"Hehehe..." While all the Death Eaters fell silent because of Harry's actions, Ike laughed instead. He took a few steps forward, forcing Harry to unconsciously take a step back.

"Stop struggling in vain. You know very well, and you all know very well, that you can't do this to me." With that, he reached out with his left hand and made a grasping motion. Harry immediately felt the Prophecy Orb being pulled away from his hand by a tremendous force.

He dared not let go, and was instead pulled back, staggering. Just as the prophecy orb was about to slip from his grasp, Ginny suddenly pointed her wand at Ike and shouted, "Shatter to pieces!"

"Snapped!"

"Splash splash splash..."

A silver shield suddenly appeared in front of Ike, blocking Ginny's Shattering Curse. Ike was unharmed, but the prophecy orbs on the shelves on either side were in serious trouble. They fell to the ground like dumplings being dropped into a pot, shattering and revealing pale, ghostly figures, whispering in everyone's ears.

"...at the decisive moment, there was a..."

"...After that, no one appeared..."

"...Divine beasts...inseparable...became enemies..."

The whispers mingled together, indistinct and only fragments could be discerned. After they finished speaking, the ghostly figures slowly dissipated into mist.

"You...you...how dare you!" Bella glared angrily at Ginny, so angry that she was almost incoherent, and even the hand holding the wand was trembling uncontrollably.

"Disarm you!"

While the Death Eaters froze in shock, Harry and his friends didn't hesitate. He immediately unleashed a Disarming Charm towards Bellatrix, shouting, "Run!"

Ike gently waved his hand, blocking Harry's disarming spell and saving Bella. He then used the disarming spell to change direction and hit the shelf next to him again, this time knocking it down.

Like dominoes, the shelves filled with prophecy orbs collapsed one by one, countless orbs falling to the ground and shattering. In the blink of an eye, countless pale figures appeared in the prophecy hall, their voices mingling together in a way that was utterly unsettling.

"Catch them!" Bella shouted hysterically, furious. Hearing this, the other Death Eaters gave chase in the direction Harry and the others had fled.

The prophecy hall was in complete chaos, which was bad news for everyone. Overturned shelves, scattered prophecy orbs, everyone scrambling for cover. Those fleeing were in trouble, but those chasing were in even more.

He collapsed to the ground, completely unconscious!

"Crushed to pieces!"

Harry ran for his life towards the exit, the annoying whispers and occasional spells ringing in his ears. He didn't look back, nor could he at this point; he dashed through the door, still shouting, "Hurry! Hurry! Hurry!"

Ron ran out right after her, followed by Luna, Ginny, and Neville. Hermione was the last to come out and immediately closed the door.

"Immediately imprison them!" A gray light flashed across the door, followed by a loud banging on the door.

"Damn it! Damn it!" Ron cursed loudly. "It's a trap, Harry!"

"I know!" Harry yelled back immediately, "But we have to get out of here! Now!"

"But... how do we get out?" Neville suddenly asked. Harry was taken aback, only then realizing that they hadn't returned to the rotunda, but rather to the room with the huge glass water tank. This time, besides the water tank and the tables, there were three more doors in the surrounding walls.

"What's going on?" Harry was bewildered. This had never happened in his dream or just now.

Just then, the loud banging on the door suddenly stopped, and a chilling silence descended.

"How..." Neville hadn't finished speaking when Hermione grabbed him sharply and shouted, "Run!"

"boom!"

A violent explosion rang out, and the door that Hermione had reinforced was blown into pieces, scattering like rain.

"Splash..."

The splintered wood, carrying immense force, shattered the glass water tank in the center of the room into a sieve in the blink of an eye. The strange liquid and the leisurely swimming brains inside spilled all over the floor, leaving a scene of utter chaos.

"Snapped!"

Bella was the first to rush in, stepping on something sticky and bursting it, leaving white, yellow, and green liquids all over her robe.

"Where are they? Where are they?" Bella screamed hysterically, oblivious to everything else. Aside from the mess on the floor, there was no one else in the room.

Without hesitation, he ran to the right, opened the door, and rushed inside.

"Bella! Damn it..."

Lucius cursed and immediately began assigning tasks to the Death Eaters.

"Nott, left... Crabbe, Rabastan... Dolokhov..." he shouted, dividing everyone into pairs and assigning them tasks. The people listened to him, finding their partners and opening the corresponding doors as instructed.

Soon, only Lucius, McNeil, and Ike remained in the room.

"Young master..." Lucius asked tentatively, his eyes flickering. Ike, however, remained calm, waved his hand, and said, "Don't worry about me, I'm fine."

Lucius nodded without replying and ran towards the door directly in front of him, with McNeil following closely behind, disappearing into the doorway in the blink of an eye.
